So something interesting about this. There is a scene about this in the anime Re:Creators.

This scene is more or less about this author/artist putting herself down because another of her peers she sees as better than she is. And it bothers her. But then you see that same peer later, and she is actually in awe of this creator. They both see one another as "on a different level" and have a lot of respect for one another but are also partly bothered by seeing someone that they view as better.

You always need to remember. You are your worst critic. Don't give up on the the hobbies you love just because someone might be better than you. Love your hobbies.

While checking my watchlist I stumbled upon Re:Creators again. I haven't watched it yet (surprise) but that one guy (he's probably the MC, I guess), he always reminds me of someone... I mean his design...
