disclaimer: as a bulgarian who lives in the balkans, i’m naturally concerned of the balkans as a whole. i have knoweledge of the other countries at least for a bit. i don’t know all of their detailes. however, i know what’s going on and what’s not, so yeah. my readings might be inaccurate because of changing energies and misinterpretation. if i happen to guess some things, i will share them here and not on twitter for personal purposes.

i can see someone “swords”. perhaps, with air energy? so, i saw lindita nikolla is libra. does the speaker of the parliament is doing some schemes allegedly behind the scenes? perhaps, will they have sudden parliamental elections?

i can see the deputies there aren’t in team as they have to, and currently they can make their issue solved with many, many options. either they might need help, or they will have to be courageous in the extent everything will be under control until 2025.

bosnia and herzegovina: ace of pentacles/knave of cups — the hanged man — king of wands rx/eight of cups — ten of swords rx

there might be an offer/idea that can make many people with jobs. however, the issue here is them deciding to step aside. i can see that they’re being forced to do it, so they have to reconsider the whole idea to the extent they have to transform the original plan.

i can see that for some reason there’s lack of belief about the future of the country. with the elections that finished recently, it’s kinda obvious some of the bulgarians (me included) feel stuck with the current situation. the other part of them are really pessimistic and don’t believe they’ll be optimistic at all.

i am certain some parties aren’t even themselves just to win more deputies while others are too persistent to work even harder. the issue here is the bulgarians being really THAT mixed which party they want to rule bulgaria.

i can see the parliament has to take choice: new elections again or unstable coalition, however.. new elections are the safer option.

in the longtime run, unless bulgarians are at least more sure of who to vote (last time there was 40% activity ..), we will be under the same cycle all over again.

croatia: king of swords — two of cups — knave/knight of swords — six of wands

whoever has the swords energy here, i see the issue is about a partnership croatia has with.

with many thinking, the only things i see here are many people, partnership and the action that’s needed for the long turn is just to be courageous for the needed achievement. are they trying to win someone’s side? i don’t have any idea what it might be here.

i am assuming the issue is with the country for a while. however, i feel only the emotions for it. did the greeks gave up on their issue? i am assuming it’s about their local currency being back in use and the lose of it using euro.

since there might be still these influences from the past that were there at that time, i understand them for giving up at this point. i feel that even if there’s an issue they don’t care, they got over it.

the thing that can be fixed is either then trying to gain courage to try again, or to gain somehow more money just to live a bit better, i guess.

the actual desicion of their issue is to rethink their actions and fight for their local currency to be back in use in greece. they might gain courage watching bulgaria from afar, but who knows if that will happen or not..

hm. so, the people in kosovo want to feel like home? i don’t quite know if they want to be independent fully or want to be part of serbia tbh. the issue here is their happiness. do they want to be separate after all, or they prefer to be in serbia?

whatever they actually prefer, it looks like it will be unsolved for now. there is delay for the instant solution while the action for the long-term seems to be temporary and not permanent.

montenegro: ten of cups — nine of swords — seven of swords — three of pentacles rx

i believe montenegrins want to live peacefully, to be happy, to be safe. they’re not and that’s the issue.

the instant solution doesn’t want to be revealed. it’s full of secrets and it might be temporary, however the long-term one might involve some budget cuts, elections after elections (basically, similar issue as bulgaria?) and everything involving teamwork/money loss.

north macedonia: queen of cups — six of wands rx — strength rx — four of pentacles

they might care about specific person. does they made the country’s citizens not loyal to them? i feel they’re sick of them, so the instant solution could be to get rid of them. however, the long-term one is only showing the consequences they’ll receive – loss of money, inflation..

romania: two of wands — four of wands rx — five of wands — six of wands rx

the romanians seem to care about a choice that HAS TO BE TAKEN. idk what this is actually about, to be honest, bc it can be about many things.

the issue is them not being together? so, perhaps is this about moldova? i’ve heard moldova’s official language will perhaps switch to romanian so i don’t know what will happen to the moldovians themselves after this to be honest.

the instant desicion will lead to quarrels, scandals and etc., so i could assume romania wants to unite with moldova and perhaps to make the four of wands turn into 180 degrees and become upright. (i mean that’s their way of solving the desicion)

however, the six of wands rx as a long-term result is really that uncertain since there’re delays and they might even rebuild their beliefs there, on moldova. or, romanians might not want that at all?

from what i remember, moldova has independent district, taraclia from what i remember. there might be issues between bulgarians, romanians and moldovians because of it… i can see revival/renaissance stepping up if this is true.

i am certain the country’s trapped. they could be either tricked or manipulated, or there’s many, many tries for this to become reality. i can see the issue is them not talking about it, so the issue might be about them trying to take a side from the r-u* situation.

the short-term solution might be on serbians themselves, or their government. fortunately, they have good intentions to them, so i can see serbians being acceptable of this action no matter what this is.

the long-term act on this issue though, might be on the knight of cups. there might be an offer to them, so i believe serbians could accept it.

slovenia: five of cups — queen of pentacles/the emperor — the devil rx — three of pentacles rx/nine of swords

i feel they’re disappointed from the queen of pentacles being in power. is that about nataša or urška? probably urška, since they’re parliamental republic. i am certain they’re aware of this issue, so for long-term i see there might be another elections, again.

turkey: eight and seven of wands (both rx) — the hanged man — the star — nine of cups

i also think there are outside influences here. is this about their future presidental and parliamental elections? because i feel patientce before suspension here as the whole issue.

the short-term solution is only for the turks to be optimistic to their happiness and security. with these cards, i do think erdogan might win in may.

this is why my english teacher believes everyone should take a basic philosophy class about the philosophy of education so everyone understands why we learn what we learn and why it's all so important

like in the end, a good majority of the stuff we learn in school is pretty important. Sometimes it seems like it's not cause we will likely never use it in this specific context again unless it's our job and it ends up getting jumbled up with smaller less significant facts that we don't need to and won't remember unless we pursue a career that requires it. but like, the practices we learn.

sure, I'll probably never use anything I learned in trigonometry again, but learning it has definitely given me practice in general rational-thinking and problem-solving skills. I've already forgotten most of what I learned in bio and chem, but scientific process is important and I know have a very vague understanding of how insulation and dilution works which can be pretty useful. history I think there's plenty of internet posts on why that is important to learn, and english is explained here. and on top of general social awareness and media literacy, both of those classes gave me some experience on giving presentations, writing, and some amount of general conversation skills.

Like, just in general, don't discount any field of learning especially at a high school level. and this isn't an endorsement of our education system cause the way those subjects are generally taught doesn't really encourage you to learn those skills and I got very lucky with the school I go to and who my teachers are, but it's not a bad mix of required core classes and they all have very valid reasons to be there.

FINALLY managed to "fix" my problem, had to update the AMD Drivers apparently (???).

Game is running smoothly now, BUT the computer's fan is now kinda going to town on him, gaining its charateristic loud noise + burning temperature combo.

Had this been winter I wouldn't mind, I've spent many a year using my computer as free heating, but it's almost summer, I'll have yo counteract the effect with my AC now...

As a side note, finally started Legacy of the Dragonborn, started is a big word tho, I just got the ring(s) at Silent Moon Camp, the elemental defenses obe is kinda meh, but the Transmutation one is pretty good with my character for now, with the magicka and magicka regen buff.

Playing as Veronique Gawain (Which is, technically, a Breton Name? Mostly done to test the Lucien standard names, and guess what, he DOES call me Veronique at times!), Witch (obviously, only magic characters in my Skyrim).

She's distantly related of the current queen of Wayrest, the one we meet in TES Legends and we help ascend to the throne.

Her mother is the 3rd daughter of a noble currently going against King Barynia of Wayrest (Also from TES Legends), but is also his 4th cousin twice removed, and was particularly strict with his 4 daughters, trying to locate them onto advantageous positions within Wayrest and High Rock society.

Of the 4 daughters, the second ended up becoming a high ranking member of the Bretony Church, fighting tooth and nail against Barynia attempt to imperialize the faith via the Corrupt Order of the Hour. Watch out for her, she's important later.

Veronique's mother was supposed to marry into a political ally's family, to strenghten their bonds, but is not really into all this political intrigue thing, she'd be happier if they left her alone with her books and sone magic, trying to get back the arts that have been lost to time and the oblivion crisis...

But her father is a dick so she has to marry some dude, and Veronique's Mother, Armida the name, is still bummed about it, but thinks of a surefire way to get out of the whole deal.

So, Armida is weird, she's a weirdo, have you ever seen her without that stupid familiar on her shoulder? No. She also has, like, no friends, because she doesn't really have the time for it, too busy mixing potions and summoning dremoras and wondering why is their face so black Compared to their whole body.

Anyway, since noble life is a burden, and despite the fact she's gona miss her sisters, she decides to fake her death. She goes in the garden to "pick flowers," and prepares her death with a dusfigured body and some blood, skipping kingdom into Daggerfall.

There, she lives in peace for a couple years, even meets a kind young man, a classic Girl meets Ork tale, they become friends, her second friend after her wretched crow, much later she gives a try at the whole married life with him, she mostly appreciate the fact he seems completely fine with her hectic work hours and shit, it all goes fibe untill some of her father's men from Wayrest come into town and recognize her.

They assume the orc kidnapped her, so gather some racist bretons and the town guard, go to their witch cottage in the woods, break down the door in the night and set fire to it. Classic shit, Ork dies trying to stop them, never much for fighting or getting angry, Armida is brought back kicking and screaming to Wayrest, realizing later on she ended up gettinv pregnant by some weird twist of fate.

Her father expects her to get back into the old political intrigue life, but she doesn't, the taste of freedom too strong now, and not wanting for her daughter to become just another pawn, so she opens a portal to the Ashpit, as you do, PREGANANT to quote the sacred texts, and DEMANDS her hisband back to Malacath.

Malacath, god of outcasts, goes "Oh, Okay, sure, fine by me, I'm too old for this shit."

So, the Orc becomes the Green Knight, a spectral green knight guarding Armida for eternity, bond by undying devotion, and who gets pegged. He tears her father in half, her eldest sister becomes head of the household, poisons her own political husband, and takes control of the situation.

She gives free rein to Armida and her spectral husbando, who just locks up in her new mage tower and doesn't disturb anyone. They have Veronique, who is spoiled rotten by her grandmother, aunts and parents, and lives a long and happy childhood.

They survive the Pirate Attack of 4E 188 seemingly unscathed, the Order of the Hour and the Dark Brotherhood failing as a result, leaving the Bretony Chantry to fulfill the power vacuum. Veronique is interested in magic like her mother, but she has s passion for religion and lore, the tales of the knights, their ancestors, elven and men, their histories.

Most of all, she wants to live their adventures. She, much like Lucien, is a Nerd seeking answers away from home, seeking what their ancestors never managed to find, seeking...

The much fabled Grail of Bretony (Imperious Races Mod). Their ancestors died trying to bring the Grail back to Wayrest, but she will succeed where they failed.

Tales of its location have begun to crop up. Most of them indicate Skyrim, a province rich with unexplored ruins and deep lore, artifacts and myths, forgotten and cosmological magic, of ghosts and automatons...

The Second Sister, her favorite aunt, priestess of Mara, is however the only one who knows this. The family, her parents, only know she's going to Skyrim on a pilgrimage, to visit the temples of the 3 chief dieties of Northern Mythology, Kyne, Dibella and Mara, to get in touch with her human roots or some shit.

Her Aunt, however, is helping her in her quest. She will be escorted to Riften, to the temple of Mara, to get directions on how to acquire her favour, and where her escort will conveniently lose sight of her. Lady Mara has given her aunt a vision of a blue khajiit, hiding nearby, that will give his life for hers, a good, faithful bodyguard in her travels, and some lead on the position of the grail, sonewhere in Falkreath Hold, suggesting to check on the local tavern for clues.

There she meets Inigo, Lucien, and news of a museum, opening up in Solitude, seeking treasure hunters and explorers, the perfect way to gain some coin and have an excuse to seek out ancient artifacts and knoweledge...

But seeling knoweledge open many a door in someone's inner mind, and her relationship with the gods has always been... academical at best, so, when she started finding pages of strange books, peppered on the corpses of those who wish her harm, as forbidden knoweledge starts flooding her mind, she wonders nust who might be responsible for this, the sudden desire to snatch people bones and turn them into soldiers growing stronger...

And Herma-Mora waits, secure in his new, fallen disciple, and her skill in finding a way to get to him.

Also her mother bastard familiar is there for some reason, maybe she knew her daughter better than anyone and knee she was up to something, she doesn't mind even if her talons are kinda digging onto the flesh of her shoulder through her robes, BUT she helped her find her own familiar!

A specteal, demonic dog called Styx, a puppy, ready to grow into her own fierce protector, abandoned by her old master near the Lady's stone, another step in her journey.

(From Falkreath, she has gathered 4 doomstones where near, Lady and the 3 Guardians, and she assumed the Grail, given the historical importance of the sites, might be located near any of the 13 doomstones. She finds her Familiar and a Dilapidated old temple with some daedric and aedric altars instead).

I was thinking about my negative post about my doctor... Now I can see why people said negative and direspectful things about him online or face-to-face. Long ago I always tried to defend him from those accusations. I can say I was wrong with some things but I just wrote down what my experience was at that time. I am not saying he deserved these negative comments like dickhead or bastard asshole. I am still grateful for him, looking back how far I have come. I am just disappointed because I am struggling with my phobia and it’s never been this worse. Maybe I am not that angry about my doctor. We had nice times and bad times. Of course I am angry and sad how he reacted to things and how he talked me on the phone but I can’t blame him for everything. Although he shouldn’t speak as he did or behave as he did. But this is the past. I am still grateful for the progress what we made. Without his therapy I wouldn’t have a girlfriend or sexual experience at all or sexual knoweledge at all. I can react to my traumatic memories and they are not coming up from my brain. Sometimes something triggers them but I can do my thing to silence them. And it’s way better than it was a long ago. 

I have mixed feelings. I see my doctor’s negative side and the positive side. The therapy’s negative side and the positive. I am sure I am okay to let go this therapeutic relationship but first I am really interested how he will react to not just the positive things but the negative too. 5 days left to our last meeting. 

That day I really need to face with him, with myself, with our therapy journey. 

Edit: Maybe these negative experiences with him needed to see him as a human and not a perfect person. To have a new reflection how I see at my doctor. That person was just in my mind who needs to be always nice to me and never say anything bad. He is a human too so he can have mistakes. But maybe this really needed to not seeing him perfect or a robot or a famous doctor who doesn’t make mistakes. I was too childish especially in the beginning. I was so amazed by he is a psychiatrist and famous that I couldn’t see him as a bad person or just a human. I did not deserve what he said but finally I can see a human in front of me.

The Empire of Artes

This is a post where me, @exy-king and @meet-me-at-kingsmeet discuss how the unification of Vere and Akielos in Captive Prince series could have gone.

Okay so I love everything that you have pointed out, I mostly agree with your views except for a couple things.

But let’s discuss the current state of the Kingdoms first. What do we have?

Damen is the King

Laurent is the King

Nikandros is the kyroi of Ios

Laurent has new council, Damen probably too

New Palace is built in Marlas

Slavery is banned or on its way to being banned

Vere, even having lost a war and land only 6 years ago, seems to be doing fine. You can see it throughout all three books. Nobles having fun in the Palace, pets having contracts, towns hosting brothels like no big deal (can assure if even a drunkard at the inn can spend money on a prostitute the state is doing ok). Common folk welcome Laurent everywhere he goes they’re not upset with their future king, means they’re not drowning in debts and famine.

This most probably had been The Regent’s doing. You may not like the guy but you gotta respect his abilities. He would not let his kingdom fall into poverty.

Akielos however with its political situation being unstable for the past 2-3 years is another story. When the person in powerr changes what do you do as a person with any power? You collect anything and everything that you can and then take sides. Kastor also needed an army. A NEW army. Kastor had a new army. Probably lots of money spent. So, not sure how much is left in the coffers.

Akielon’s most probably fucked. Vere can probably help a bit.

Palace at Marlas

It is rash indeed.

The Empire has just been formed (has it even been formed?) and they’re already building a new Palace. That’s definitely a Laurent’s decision. It’ll prove to be great in years to come.

Okay, so you guys seem to be very concerned with the fundation. I’ve got a solution for ya - let the nobles pay for it.

The Regent’s gone, Laurent is the new King, rightfully so. Anyone who was not kind to him, including former members of Council has nowhere to hide. Whatever was said or done is remembered and reminded. Laurent may go all

while in Akielos it goes like

“We have two armies. Still want to oppose to your true and right king? No? then contribute to our construction with people and money“

and in history books they’ll write smth along the lines that “Palace at Marlas is a magnificent evidence of loyalness and gratitude from the nobility of both kingdoms to their Emperors”. It would not be enough of course, but somewhere to start at least.

My biggest concern in all of this is the ban of slavery.

I’m actually horrified at/of this reform.

It’s one thing when masses oppose, but this is different. This is ONE person restyling the lives of a whole nation. It would be hella difficult. It’s not only Akielon nobility opposing to give up something “rightfully“ theirs, it’s countless slaves losing a purpose in their lives. Losing their selves, home and any knoweledge about how to live a life in general.

Damen has spent only a year as a slave yet he’s having trouble not springing at Laurent’s command (”Fetch me some”). Can you imagine Isander who had been groomed for it for his whole life to be let out into freedom? What about aged slaves? 

What about bed slaves? How are the nobles supposed to keep their favourites? Pet system would not work because: 1. It’s Veretian, 2. it doesn’t suit Akielon way with their dedicatedness 3. It’d be more of an infidelity if anything. 

Also remember who slaves are - they’re the prettiest and most delicate of the crop. Take away the security their masters provided them with and horrbile things could happen to them.

People will still treat them as slaves and they will expect to be treated as slaves. They need a new safe environment, a new purpose in life and means to achieve a house, a job, a new status.

It’s a problem for commoners too. There they were in the palaces and forts, pampered and rolling in sheets and now they’re on the streets taking their jobs away and lowering salary rate with such an amount of new workforce on the market. All because of King Damianos.

Something definitely needs to be done about this.

Delpha

Making it an independent Province/city-state under Empire would be awesome. But I don’t think there’s a way to do this instantly. Also please note how Laurent feels about it.This is something Auguste had died for (in vain), remember how he treated the people there, remember that girl he taught the coin trick to and her opposition to Damianos. Yes, that was different situation and it is even stated in the book that Laurent did not think so far but I still think that Delpha should be given to Laurent by Damen as an apology for taking Auguste’s life or a gratitude gift for helping him gain the power back. Not to Vere, as initially stated but to Laurent. Thus Delpha gains an independent status same as Acquitart. Laurent is the Ruler. Why not totally independent? This is a very important land strategically and economically: do you really want a third party at the heart of your newly built empire? No, you definitely don’t. Not even Nikandros? God, no, Nikandros is the worst choice for this. Nikandros is indeed needed at the very South in Ios, in Capital. A true Akielon respected by nobles, soldiers and common folk, and so loyal to his King he could be his right hand and spinal cord. Nikandros would be like a buffer between any Akielon bigshot who is not feeling like obeying to this new King who beds a veretian snake, banned slavery, was turned into a slave himself and couldn’t even see treason that was weaved right under his nose. Nikandros is very much needed in Ios. He’s the only one who would not exploit this kind of power against them.

Delpha however can be controlled by Laurent himself. With Damen’s aid. They’re right there at Marlas too. They don’t need anyone else to lead Delpha for them. They can establish a new Emperial lifestyle with no help from outside.

Millitary

Yay for mixed training! Yay for uniting forces against some other enemy, surely Laurent can arrange you a fight but at the same time think of other countries. This is a high time for them to bring down both Akielon and Vere - both kingdoms ARE SO FUCKING WEAK AT THE MOMENT. I don’t think Lamen would even need to do anything, there probably would be enough conflicts at the borders and threats from outside. Also not very wise to head into a battle of new war when their own Empire is not settled yet.
