Summary:
In the distant past, the Guardian of the Milky Way galaxy named Lanancuras began to harbor a desire for more power. Because of his connection to the galaxy, he was able to absorb parts of planets and add them to his strength. As a result, he began invading the worlds he was assigned to protect. In the wake of his destruction, a following of creatures from across the galaxy pledged allegiance to Lanancuras and became known as the Kadrians. Taking notice of his ever-growing power and followers, the other Celestial Guardians confronted him; however, he had become too powerful, and they were defeated. Unable to subdue Lanancuras, the Celestial Guardians each gave up a part of their power and combined it into a single new Guardian, Mushra. In a final desperate attempt, they used Mushra's core by transforming it into a powerful card with which to seal Lanancuras in a prison. The prison was created from the remains of planets that had suffered under Lanancuras' tyranny. Because planets are themselves large beings, their combined strength (along with the power of the card) was able to restrain him. Thus Lanancuras was successfully sealed in a large meteorite.
The meteorite was sent off into the galaxy to be sealed forever. Meanwhile, the way Lanancuras had increased his strength had consequences on the planets of the Milky Way On Earth, around the 22nd century, it was in the shape of a virus that merged with human DNA and destroyed the humans that way. In order to eliminate the virus, scientists worked on combining human DNA with the DNA of animals and other creatures immune to the effects. They succeeded and created a sentient race known as Enterrans (a race of engineered Earthlings) which are based on humans, insects, reptiles, birds, sea creatures, wild beasts, and phantom beasts. Eventually, a cure was found and the human race survived.
However, due to Lanancuras' influence, the Enterrans fought their human creators as well as the robots that worked with the humans, driving the human race to a near extinction state. Luckily, a scientist named Dr. Daigo Tatsuro placed his 4-year-old daughter Yakumo in a sleep chamber in hopes that she would save the human race and find the human sanctuary Shinzo and bring peace back to Earth which was then renamed to Enterra. When the meteor that Lanancuras was imprisoned in struck Earth during the earlier parts of the Human-Enterran War, its fragment had struck an infant Yakumo giving her abilities that she would later discover.

PokeToons Episode 10 Review - The Angry Primeape Observation Diary
While this isn’t the first PokeToons I’ve watched, but I decided to review all of them after watching this one. PokeToons does an amazing job showcasing a different type of story different from the usual weekly show. Pokemon is never afraid to experiment and this is one of the many cases. This little short is animated by ZEXCS, the studio behind the Shadowverse anime with touchups from other studios like Wit Studio. I think it’s always nice that Pokemon always showcases what other animation studios can do with a Pokemon media.
Even if my Japanese is limited, all my years of watching anime has helped me get the gist of what the plot for this story is about. Basically, the boy keeping an observation diary about his partner Pokemon Primeape that he’s telling to his class. He’s always mentioning how angry it is and wonders if he could find a way to not see it so angry, so he does various activities to calm it down like meditation, watching a movie, and all sorts of relaxing stuff. Unfortunately, Primeape gets anxious when it’s not lashing out, so the boy realizes that what his Pokemon wants is to get stronger, so they switch from R&R to Pokemon battles!
A very interesting key detail about Primeape’s battles is that it uses Rage Fist on so many Pokemon, but if you count the amount of times it’s used, it equates to around 19. But wait, if you count the amount of Pokemon it hit, there’s only 18! You obviously forgot the first time it used Rage Fist on the boy’s popcorn bag, right? That means it had been used 19 times! The 20th time was when it defeated the Baxcalibur in the tournament they were in and that’s how it evolved to Annihilape! I think that was such a clever way to showcase its evolution method! Unfortunately for the boy, even after evolution, Annihilape is still angry, but he still loves it very much. It definitely has a face that only the boy could love.
For the characters, it’s mainly the boy and his Primeape. I do love how patient and loving the boy is towards Primeape. He never gives up on his Pokemon and always does activities with it. I do like that even if Primeape gets annoyed with whatever the boy does with it, it never attacks its Trainer. It shows a sign of trust the two have. Though, it is hilarious that the boy technically “killed” his Primeape and made it evolve by coincidence and he’s just there with a giant smile plastered on his face. I’m also surprised with the cast. The boy is voiced by Rie Kugimiya who’s practically a regular in Pokemon at this point—give her a main role in the weekly anime already! Primeape is voiced by Mitsuo Iwata, who’s also a prolific voice actor as well! They did a fantastic job!
This is my first time writing a review for the PokeToons series. If you want me to write reviews for the other ones, please let me know!

Nom : Krory .
Origine : Roumaine .
Taille : 1,90 m .
Poids : 77 kg .
Âge : 28 ans.
Anniversaire : 1er décembre .
Groupe sanguin : AB .
Innocence : Les sylver phant

In a post that will amuse exactly one (1) person aka myself, while watching Record of Ragnarok...
~
Because Takagi Wataru voiced Zeus in Record of Ragnarok like the sharpest senile old man and people don't really think of Odin as a trickster god anymore (thanks Marvel), I kept thinking about how it would be so fun to have Takagi Wataru voice trickster god Odin and Yoshino Hiroyuki voice his "nephew" fellow trickster god Loki.
Hero god Thor is of course voiced by Hiyama Nobuyuki and Baldr can be voiced by Iwata Mitsuo coz I love how everyone bullies him lmfao
No plot. Just trickster gods Odin and Loki going about their day having fun and egging each other on, making themselves everyone else's problem. Thor having to clean up after his father and "cousin" and Baldr dies at the end of every episode lolol...
Still thinking who to put as Tachiki Fumihiko...
.
Yes I deliberately chose all the husky voiced seiyuu. What about it?
.
Frigg (CV: Inoue Kikuko)?
Freyja (CV: Uchida Maaya) & Freyr (CV: Uchida Yuuma) because I don't see them cast as siblings a lot

Akira is Chad’s pick and it completely blew his mind as he watched it for the first time with his mouth hanging open. It’s not just the animation that still captures his attention. It’s also the excellent stories and characters, the relationships, and how it leaned into body horror during the confrontation between Kaneda and Tetsuo. There is so much going on that it’s a treat to sit down and watch it. Akira keeps getting better every time he experiences it.
Crystal also loves the characters and their relationships depicted in the oppressed society of Akira. Those psychic kids messed her up and the animation is great, but it’s really the story that makes it special. Bill prefers watching Akira in the original Japanese language with English subtitles, adding that this beautiful and influential film is an unrelenting and brutal bloodbath of a film in which no character is safe. Akira is the first anime Jeff’s seen with the exception of the original Astro Boy TV series (1963-1965) and he, too, is blown away. There seemed to be no top end as the story, color, and animation just kept ramping up. He’s so glad Chad chose this film.
In general, the 80s Grue Crew prefers the version with Japanese language and English subtitles, but it is difficult to take in the visual feast while reading subtitles. At the time of this writing, Akira is available to stream from Hulu, Funimation, and Tubi, and on physical media as a Blu-ray disc or 4K UHD from Funimation.
Every two weeks, Gruesome Magazine’s Decades of Horror 1980s podcast will cover another horror film from the 1980s. The next episode’s film, chosen by Jeff, will be David Cronenberg’s Scanners (1981). You know… the one with the scene?
Please let them know how they’re doing! They want to hear from you – the coolest, grooviest fans – so leave them a message or comment on the gruesome Magazine Youtube channel, on the website, or email the Decades of Horror 1980s podcast hosts at [email protected].

My sister who's in college has this anime for studying in her syllabus!
The question that appeared in her test -
1. WHAT IS MANGA? 😍
I love this world ❤️ the university, the college ❤️ please by the time I get there please include mairuma in the syllabus. I'm so proud our university recognised this anime and manga. It's an achievement for us, the manga and the anime team including our beloved seiyuus.
The seiyuus are familiar! Mitsuo iwata who plays the role of Kaneda is Suzaku in Inuyasha and Arystrar krory in D gray man. Nozomu sazaki who's shima also played Yusuke in yu yu hakusho and mello in death note. Tessho Ganda (Ryusaku Ryu) also played Kurama in Naruto! Finally Takeshi kusao (Kai) played Bankotsu in Inuyasha.
