Varian terendahnya adalah Binguo EV Long Range AC (Rp317 juta) yang memiliki jarak tempuh 333 km.

Mobil ini hanya tersedia dalam satu pilihan varian yang menggunakan tipe bodi blind van.

Nissan, Mitsubishi launch their new ‘Kei’ micro-car EV in Japan

NMKV Co. – a JV formed by Nissan Motor Co. and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation - held a line-off ceremony recently to reveal the all-new Kei EV or mini electric vehicle. This new-generation EV will be launched in the Japanese market as the Nissan Sakura and the Mitsubishi Motors 'eK X EV' (pronounced as 'eK cross EV').

Kei cars, also called as Japanese city cars or ultra-minis, is a category of smallest road-legal passenger cars popular in the Japanese market.

Offering both sufficient range for everyday use and an affordable price, the new Kei EV has realized the smooth and powerful driving experience of EVs, a quiet and comfortable ride, as well as high safety and comfort through the adoption of advanced driver assistance systems and connectivity, according to the company.

The company claims that the Kei EV has not only integrated Nissan's advanced technologies with Mitsubishi Motors' expertise in manufacturing Kei cars, but also the two companies' combined electrification technologies.

i-MiEV si postupně získal pověst modelu schopného nabídnout ekologický provoz, tichý chod, dobré jízdní schopnosti a nízké dopady na životní prostředí. Modelu i-MiEV se dostalo uznání nejen pro jeho ekologické přednosti, ale i spolehlivé služby ve státní správě mnoha zemí, stejně tak jako ve vozových parcích taxislužeb, autopůjčoven apod. Kromě toho se i-MiEV ukázal jako důležitý pomocník při přírodních katastrofách, kdy nedostatek benzínu brání v používání vozů se spalovacími motory.

Pohonné ústrojí i-MiEVu se rovněž dobře uplatnilo v užitkovém modelu Minicab MiEV, uvedeném na trh v roce 2011. Například Mitsubishi letos v září dodá japonské poště 1 200 těchto vozů. Minicab MiEV je i přes své malé rozměry dostatečně prostorný k nasazení doručovacími službami ve městech. Celosvětové prodeje modelů i-MiEV a Minicab MiEV za 10 let od uvedení již přesáhly 31 tisíc vozů (údaj ke konci dubna 2019).

Zásadní je též skutečnost, že i-MiEV urychlil výzkum a vývoj Mitsubishi na poli hnacích ústrojí pro elektromobily, což se v roce 2013 přímo odrazilo v uvedení modelu Outlander PHEV s pokrokovým hybridním pohonem, jenž kombinuje elektromotory a benzínový motor. Outlander PHEV též poslední čtyři roky za sebou (2015-2018) reprezentuje nejprodávanější plug-in hybridní vůz na evropských trzích.

Baterie modelu i-MiEV o kapacitě 16 kWh společně s kompaktním elektromotorem na zadní nápravě poskytuje vozu vynikající jízdní vlastnosti a dojezd 160 km (NEDC), resp. 105 km (WLTP). Vůz je díky svým kompaktním rozměrům skvěle využitelný ve městě, nicméně díky chytře obestavěnému prostoru nabízí dost místa pro čtveřici cestujících.

V souladu s rostoucí poptávkou po elektromobilech pracuje Mitsubishi na komerčním využití technologií V2H a V2G (Vehicle to Grid, vozidlo vs. elektrická síť) s cílem dále rozvíjet a prosazovat elektromobily a plug-in hybridy (PHEV). Výrobce toto vnímá jako další krok na cestě do nové epochy definované těsnými vazbami mezi automobilem a člověkem, resp. společností a životním prostředím.

Model i-MiEV získal v soutěži Auto roku Japonska 2009-2010 speciální ocenění v kategorii nejvyspělejších technologií. Činnost pohonného ústrojí a baterií řídil vyspělý systém, jenž byl mnohem propracovanější než všechny předchozí technologie. Model i-MiEV byl též průkopníkem technologie V2H (Vehicle-to-Home).
