Many congratulations to Miss Flora Ogilvy and Mr Timothy Vesterberg on their engagement!

Born Flora Alexandra Ogilvy, she is daughter of James Robert Bruce Ogilvy and Julia Caroline Ogilvy née Rawlinson; a granddaughter of Princess Alexandra of Kent and The Hon Sir Angus James Bruce Ogilvy. 

Flora is currently 56th in line to the throne and Count's 11th cousin once removed via her grandmother Princess Alexandra of Kent and 7th cousin via grandfather, The Hon Sir Angus James Bruce Ogilvy.

Miss Ogilvy is the oldest child of James and Julia Ogilvy. Born on 15 December, 1994, she grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland, with her younger brother, Alexander Ogilvy. The 56th in line to the throne attended Bristol University and graduated with a degree in History of Art. She has worked for companies including Hamilton and Inches, Sotheby’s, Christie’s, and Burberry. She has contributed to various magazines and served as guest lecturer at institutions across the United Kingdom, including Cambridge University. Miss Ogilvy founded ‘an editorial platform creating content with a focus on contemporary art’ named Arteviste.

Mr Vesterberg was born on 1 August, 1993, and is from Stockholm, Sweden. He attended Kungliga Tekniska Högskola (KTH Royal Insitute of Technology) and Handelshögskolan i Stockholm (Stockholm School of Economics). The 26 year old was a professional hockey player who played for multiple teams over the years before switching careers to become a finacier.

An announcement was first made in the newspapers by simply stating, ‘The engagement is announced between Flora Alexandra, daughter of Mr and Mrs James Ogilvy of Fawley, and Timothy, son of Mr and Mrs Patrik Vesterberg of Stockholm.’ The happy couple then took to social media to share the news by posting the above picture taken by her father, James Ogilvy.
