Eton College holds a cherished place in the annals of His Serene Highness the Count of Münnich and Reutern’s family history, with their connection dating back to its very foundation.
The illustrious Founder of Eton College, King Henry VI, is His Highness’s seventeenth great uncle. This noble lineage traces its roots through his half-brother, The Count’s seventeenth great-grandfather, Edmund Tudor, 1st Earl of Richmond. Notably, King Henry VI was also a great-grandson of His Serene Highness’s eighteenth great-grandfather, John of Gaunt, 1st Duke of Lancaster.
The family’s ties to Eton College have remained steadfast across generations. Many generations of The Count’s grandfathers and extended family members were privileged attendees of this institution. From those bygone days to the present, Eton College continues to hold a special place in the hearts of His Serene Highness’s family.

It is with profound sadness and shock that the Count of Münnich and Reutern learned of the passing of his cousin, Her Grace Susan, Duchess of Richmond and Gordon, wife of the late 10th Duke of Richmond and Gordon, a beloved mother of His Highness's cousin Charles, The Duke of Richmond and Gordon.

SUSAN, DUCHESS OF RICHMOND, PICTURED WITH HER FAMILY AT GOODWOOD
Her grace, resilience, and tireless commitment to family and charitable causes have left an enduring legacy.
Susan's impact on Goodwood House, her dedication to various charities will forever be remembered. She was a devoted grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The duchess died at the age of 90 at her home, Carnés Seat at Goodwood.
Rest in peace, dear Susan. You will be dearly missed, but your legacy will live on in the hearts of those you touched.

Yesterday, His Serene Highness Prince Joshua Count of Münnich and Reutern joined his Royal cousins Their Royal Highnesses Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh and Prince Andrew, Duke of York, at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor at the service to mark the first anniversary of the passing of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the accession of King Charles III.
Passages from the Book of Joshua 1:1-9 were chosen at the service.
Joshua 1:1 - 'After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ aide...'
Joshua 1:9 - 'Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.'
We remember Her Majesty’s grace, dedication, and the legacy She leaves behind. As we move forward in the new reign of King Charles III, let us cherish the memories and values She instilled in our hearts.

To all mothers everywhere, and to those who may be missing their mums today, The Count of Münnich and Reutern is thinking of you and wishing you all a very special Mother’s Day.
In memory and honour of his late mother, His Serene Highness shares a photograph of his mother, Countess Jane who died over 23 years ago.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
