Masjid Al-Aqsha, masjid yang disinggahi Rasulullah ﷺ saat peristiwa Isra’ Mi’raj adalah masjid yang diperbolehkan bersusah payah untuk kita datangi. Di dalam riwayat lain, "Janganlah kalian bersusah payah melakukan perjalanan jauh, kecuali ke tiga masjid, yaitu: masjidku ini, Masjidil Haram dan Masjid Al Aqsha." (Muslim: 2475)

Masjid Al-Aqsha dan Palestina saat ini masih dalam pendudukan Zion1s Isr4el. Semakin sulit umat Islam untuk menziarahinya. Syaikh Mishary Rashid Al-Alafasy pernah berdoa, “Ya Allah, kembalikanlah Masjid Al-Aqsha ke haribaan kaum muslimin. Dan karuniakanlah kami kesempatan untuk shalat di dalamnya sebelum ajal menjemput. Dengan rahmatmu wahai Dzat yang Maha Pengasih lagi Maha Penyayang.” Aamiin.
