Alright dudes, I was thinking about this collab that I remembered that I was making a roller coaster for my friends and I was going to make one for me, and I think it turned out pretty good and swell! XD

Anyways, I’m halfway to get 100 followers on my account and I was thinking that I could make something to celebrate with first 100 followers special who followed me! :3

Day 8: Your OC (as Government/Toppat)

My OC is Mimi Starmin. She can be work with a Government, but depends with the Timeline paths that She choose. But I'm more like her be a Toppat because she looks cool and do more actions.

She joined Toppat Clan for find her long lost Little Sister, Cherry Belle. She knew it's wrong to joining the clan, but Since Government trying to arrested her, she have no other Choice.

Rhythm Game Song of the Week - red glasses - Like a pop’n music

Welcome, everyone, to another Rhythm Game Song of the Week This week, I try to make up for the lack of real Rhythm Game Song of the Week last week! Also, I should have chose Green Green Dance. Sorry!

Sound Voltex isn’t the only Bemani game with fan submissions, though they don’t do it as much with the other games. They did a few song contests for DDR Ultramix and Universe series, they held musicianship trials for IIDX, and, to celebrate the 20th game in the pop’n music series, they held a contest for pop’n! This was one of the winners, and, unsurprisingly, it’s a tribute to the pop’n music series.

The lyrics are all about playing pop’n, and starts off with a not-so-rare occurrence for someone who plays any music game with a time limit on the song select screen:

I got carried away, playing with the blue buttons And now the timer has gone down before I could fix it

A guerilla of colorful buttons are falling down Leaving me to mash all of the buttons in order to clear it

The song later goes on to say that happiness is something we can make, even just by playing notes by hitting buttons. Push the red button to start the fun! The song could work as a theme song for the game itself; I don’t wonder why this song won, though it’s not for lack of quality. Far from it, really.

Fittingly, the character that represents the song happens to be a humanized pop’n music machine named Nonet. Nonet means a group of nine people, usually used for musicians, perfect for a music game with nine buttons. The skirt of her dress has the button layout on it, she wears pop-kun puppets on her hands, she wears a hat that resembles the speakers and marquee of the machine, and she wears her hair in twin braids, just like series mascots Mimi and Nyami.

red glasses would go on to do more songs for pop’n music as a commission artist. Not unheard of for a contest winner; Ryu* and kors k’s Bemani careers started when they won the first IIDX musicianship trial with starmine and Clione, respectively. Konami still continues to do song contests, mostly for Sound Voltex and Museca. As far as I can tell, they’re Japan only, just like the games.

But hey, we can always dream. Or make BMS files.
