A long gone & short lived Milwaukee math rock/avant indie band Murder in the Red Barn. Yes, that is a nod to Tom Waits. What made them stand out was the use of the saxophone, but not so heavy in a freak out way that Steve Sostak of Sweep the Leg Johnny played. After this album Tony would leave the band to play horns for the Paperchase.

hey! i’m new to tumblr, but i knew the daughters of cain were very active here so i wanted to join in on the community! some things to know about me, i saw hayden live at summerfest in july of 2024 (hayden come back to milwaukee please), and i have been a fan for almost a year now!

On September 22nd in Milwaukee WI, i attended the Sleeping With Sirens Lets Cheers To This Tour with VIP passes. The concert was exhilarating. The guys were super sweet and Kellin loved the drawing I gave him. In the video you can even hear him say "WHOAAA!!" lmao he was such a sweetheart. The whole band was some of the sweetest people I've ever met.

I was really shaky and I almost cried in front of them but I held it together. If you get a chance I highly recommend attending their tour. Holding Absence and Teenage Joan's also put on an amazing performance. If you'd like the Sleeping With Sirens setlist, I made a playlist on Spotify!

If you plan on attending I highly recommend VIP passes if you can. Out of all the concerts I've been to this was the best one. I'd kill to experience it again.
