Considering Miles is an “anomaly” and technically wasn’t supposed to become spiderman, I think that means he has a more likely chance of altering his canon (save his dad) without any disastrous ramifications

Tbh i'm scared of Batfam x Spiderverse getting popular specifically because i know nobody would do it right since so much of the Batfam crossover side dosen't read comics or have any respect for minority characters.Like Bruce adopting Miles?Miles already has two perfectly good parents and if i had to see 'Bad parents Jefferson and Rio au' i think i'd actually screech.If anybody in the Batfam instantly adopts Miles,it'd be Jason and as brothers,not parent and child.Also they'd reduce the genuine MANY similarities between Gwen and Stephanie down to 'they're both blonde feminine girls' instead of exploring their sisterly friendship in-depth and knowing Batfanon stans they'd even ship Gwen x Jason or fucking Hobie x Jason even though they're both minors with the aged up non-excuse💀Plus maybe,MAYBE Timiles could a thing since it's such a no-brainer ship but they'd make it weird with yaoification,ntm the inevitable Duke erasure i've already seen happening as if Spiderverse isn't a black franchise and when he's basically Hobie as a Bat character and the stereotyping of Cass even further than in later canon like what happened to Peni and sidelining of Margo like she dosen't have more in common with the Batkids than Mcu Peter does.Wh*te written Spiderbatfam is a geek fear of all time

ok wait so Miguel is so worried about Miles stopping his dad‘s death which would cause that world’s canon and reality to unravel and fall apart. But he also said Miles was never supposed to be Spider-Man in that reality. The spider got transported to that world and bit miles, changing the canon. So isn’t the canon already messed up? Shouldn’t it already be unraveling? Why is Miguel so caught up in Miles changing his dad‘s death when that world’s canon is already different? 

or does it just not apply for that? i mean that’s a pretty big change tho.

also, earth 42 with no spiderman. that one isn’t following canon anymore either.

Jason likes to bake when he's feeling stressed or anxious, he can't always bear to eat everything he's made, and he almost always invites Percy and Miles to eat with him since their company also makes him much less stressed (a habit he learned from his mother (Catherine) and that sometimes makes him feel closer to her)

His favorite desserts would be chocolate cookies like the ones Alfred occasionally made, and which he usually eats by dipping them in dulce de leche (which curiously is not very sweet and is very delicious if you use the right recipe, I say this from experience)

Percy's favorites are also chocolate chip cookies, especially if they are blue because they remind her of her mother. When Jason makes cookies, he uses so many different food colorings that if you walk into the kitchen before he can clean it up, it looks like a rainbow fell on him.

Miles' favorite dessert is Bolo Tres Leiches . Jason always makes it for her birthday or on special days for her.

The three of them also like to get together in the kitchen and discover new recipes for homemade bread, etc. but they usually focus on making only their favorite recipes that they already know.

They have a whiteboard hung up in Jason’s kitchen that’s a scoreboard of bad guys taken down (but a point gets taken off for every major injury they get) and they are so competitive over it. Percy and Jason once didn’t speak for a full week because Percy was convinced Jason rubbed off one of her marks (he didn’t. Percy forgot to draw the mark on in the first place)

Miles once tried to teach Percy to websling but she got stuck in a tree and they had to call the firemen because Miles and Jason were laughing too hard to get her out

Percy is water, miles is air, Jason is fire. I don’t make the rules they just are

Miles just gives off succulent parent vibes. They others would buy him more every time they see some and his room is slowly getting taken over by plants. He could not care less, they are his babies and they deserve everything

Percy absolutely insisted on watching the live action The Little Mermaid when it came out in cinemas. Jason pretends to hate it, but the others catch him on video singing Part of Your World when he’s cooking later that day

Hobie gestures to the air but in reference to the other Spider-totems, beyond Hobie, that Miles has positively interacted with. Specifically Hobie was making reference to the ones Miles had befreinded. @thenextchapterbegins

I think one of my favorite things about Across the Spiderverse is that, if you pay enough attention, you realize that Miguel's logic makes zero sense.

Earth-42 Miles never became Spider-Man like Miguel says he was supposed to, Gwen's dad quits the force (thus preventing his supposedly inevitable death as a cop), and Peter B only decided to have a kid because he met Miles, which, according to Miguel, was never supposed to happen.

All three universes are very obviously not destroyed, nor do they seem likely to be destroyed any time in the near future. So either:

A. Earth-1610 Miles was always supposed to become Spider-Man (thus allowing Peter B to meet him) and Gwen's cop who dies is just someone else, with her father being a red herring.

OR

B. The other option, which I think is both much more likely and much more interesting: Miguel is inherently wrong.
