Sixtieth Parallel Territorial Park and Visitor's Centre, NWT (No. 2)
Really nice visitor center and information offering free coffee. Large parking areas with available washrooms. Will allow overnight parking in their lot. There is also a campground there called 60th parallel camping adjacent to the visitor information centre, the 60th Parallel Territorial Park has a small campground (with 7 campsites) and a scenic picnic area overlooking the beautiful Hay River. The campground/ park has 7 non-powered campsites. A play area in front of the visitor center and a separate area for the dogs. Super nice people with a wealth of information about the area.
