Spoilers for across the Spiderverse I guess.
Finally watched Across the Spiderverse and despite the spoilers and observations I'd read beforehand, I'm offended by both Spot and Miguel.
Like...to the point I don't understand why the content I came across generally really liked them? Miguel especially. FUCK Miguel. Good guy my ass. Dude has practically built a cult. And he's the unquestioned head who's word is law and doesn't have to listen to anyone just because.
I don't understand the vehement and persistent hate these 2 GROWN ASS MEN have towards a damn 14-now 15 year old boy. A goddamn child.
Both keep victim blaming and pushing and projecting their mistakes, the wrong doings of others, the plot of fucking KINGPIN onto him and I just DON'T understand. Miles literally did NOTHING wrong to get this kind of vitriol from a pair of strangers who Actually know what's up. Or that claim to anyways.
Spot over here claiming to be the scientist that made/had the spider that made Miles Spiderman. He also basically admitted to being one of the evil scientists that was under goddamn Kingpin's employ. The same Kingpin who cooked up and pressed and demanded his selfish world destroying demands be met. Yet he wants to blame the scared child who was literally only defending himself and trying to do good by helping to stop more ppl (including that family he claims he lost but had actually rejected him for reasons) don't die. Why is he not mad at his boss? Former boss? Why is he not taking responsibility for losing the spider experiment? Yet he wants credit in making the newest spiderman? Why does he want to make a literal child the root of his problem instead of literally any of the adults it could've been...like other Peter?
Only thing I can think of is that he's such a sad pathetic piece of incompetent shit that a damn (mostly)clueless child was the only target he could shift blame too and feel like he could properly threaten and win against. Only to be proven wrong and have the audacity to be offended that the child he's failing to harm doesn't take him seriously nor accept the false responsibility of his own problems he's trying to place on Miles.
And then there's Miguel's bitch ass.
Acting all knowing and despite being aware of the facts that Miles is OBJECTIVELY not at fault or aware of any problems (aside from Spot) is unnecessarily rude and hostile towards him from the very start.
And when he calms down enough to actually talk and explain some things like a rational person, it's essentially to give his own crazy (and mildly horrifying from implications cuz STALKER USURPER ALERT) sob story so he can tell a kid to let his dad be killed "because the worlds will end otherwise" and basically imply that since Miles saved Captain Singh they'll have to murder that cop to make things "right".
And then later, when he catches Miles outside after that ridiculous and hilarious chase was somehow compelled to tell this child, with words filled with (unnecessary) aggressive hate, that he's a "mistake" that shouldn't exist and should have never been spiderman.
Smells like self projecting to me.
And also, it's bullshit!
Based on what I recall from this movie I just watched, one or both of these men I can't stand is lying. Spot is claiming to be of Miles' dimension with the radio active spider but Miguel is claiming that spider is from a different dimension.
And the fact that Miguel rudely brings up more trauma, victim blames MORE, and tries to put the responsibility of a death caused by a murderous adult villain onto that same (child) victim only to later try to lament to the other spider ppl that Miles "won't listen" and "talking won't work" since he just tried it honestly put him on my character shit list.
Like I knew from spoilers that he was deemed attractive and interesting and that he didn't like this version of Miles but I didn't have like...any indepth details or whatever. I wasn't actively looking for spoilers.
I went into this movie expecting to like him, even just somewhat. But honestly? Fuck that guy. And not in a sexy way.
I mean...He immediately attempts to intimidate a child into submission upon 1st meeting for no reason after being rude as fuck while said child was trying to make a good impression and was honestly just happy to be there. And then he later tries to emotionally (and mentally?) break Miles verbally as if him loving his family, wanting his dad alive if possible is a bad thing. I had assumed, before going in that Miguel had at least started off civil and professionally polite with Miles. Figured Miles had purposely done something to his face that made Miguel go from cautious to distant. He hadn't. At all.
It's giving racist lowkey for the way he literally hates this mixed, primarily black presenting, child for existing and the way he said he wanted to just ignore/pretend that Hobie (another black male) was even there also made me raise an eyebrow. Maybe it's cuz of my own experience dealing with prejudice from ppl I least expected it from as a kid myself but Miguel is giving it and that's what I'm seeing and he's an asshat for it. He has no right and no reason to act as he did let alone say what he said. Fuck his ✨️trauma✨️ caused by his own mistakes as an adult who damn well knew better.
Mans literally stalked his own doppelganger and inserted himself into the other him's life once that one died only for it all to go to shit from glitches likely because he shouldn't have been there and what Kingpin was doing. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if he'd killed his other self to live that dream life he wanted so bad.
Yet he wants everyone to believe a child in the wrong place at the wrong time and being saved by a superhero before taking up the mantel of a hero himself in honor of his savior since shit just happened to him...in his OWN WORLD MIND YOU, is completely wrong and unacceptable.
He can miss me with that bullshit. He's wrong period in my book.
Also if Miles is considered the: "oRIgInaL anOmALy" and has been living life just fine with powers caused by a alternate dimension spider then there's probably a good chance he can change his world's "canon events" without things going to shit since according to bitchMiguel, Mile's has technically been doing that from the start by even existing.
Think about it: Miles became a spiderman with active spider ppl there to train him. He wasn't alone or even the 1st spider person there. He knew what was happening as he changed since it had happened before and was publicized. His love interest Gwen is not only from a different dimension but also spiderwoman. A civilian unrelated to him knew of him and the others and provided additional support without becoming a liability, his uncle may have died but was a criminal unlike all the (known?) others, he's had no glitch or issues with his powers, he has more powers than the basic spiderman w/o the need of a suit, he's got both parents and both love him and also think rather positively of Spiderman w/o knowing it's him. His cop dad willingly works with spiderman too.
Also am I the only one concerned that the so called sophisticated technology they have to send ppl back to their dimensions has semi regularly sent their captures back to the wrong place? Because the only thing they tried to do was stop the machine from sending him, so unless that affected the way it operates to determine where a person is from that means they probably have been sending ppl to the wrong places, unknowingly fucking shit up just as much if not more in the multiverse than b4 they tried to correct it.
I bet they're actually wrong about all kinds of things and their causes and just don't realize it.
But I am estatic Hobie is just as awesome as I was lead to believe. Watching him, listening to what he says, I firmly believe he was an op to the spider society from the start to learn what he could, try to get other spiders to THINK more, and prepare for when he decides to leave them so he doesn't need them to utilize the tools they had a monopoly on.
I mean bro made the tactical decision to quit when Miguel and others were fully distracted by Miles on some sketchy shit and I feel like that kept him from having to deal with a cult leader bitchMiguel trying to make an example out of him for doing so or something.

Hi, can you do a Earth 42!Miles x Earth 42!Spider-Woman!Reader. Reader somehow meets Hobie and they hit it off. Miles sees them one day and gets jealous.
Of course!! Sorry this took days, writer's block is a bitch
Hope you enjoy this one!
I'm Yours, Miles. (42!Miles x Spider-Woman!Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Oh crap, I gotta go babe," You said, getting off of Miles' bed to change into your Spider-Woman suit. Your boyfriend lazily looked up at you from where he was laying, his fingers fiddling with the pillow. "Sure ma, you comin' back right?" Miles asked, with a subtle frown.
Your watch had beeped, signalling another mission from Spider Society and you had to deal with it as soon as possible. After changing into your suit you turned around, giving Miles a weak smile before leaning down to kiss his forehead. "I'll be back I promise." You muttered before swinging out his window.
You swung through multiple buildings before stopping at a certain rooftop. Your fingers glided through the techy watch given to you by Miguel only to see your universe pop up on the screen. "Seems like an anomaly here..." You muttered to yourself. You were about to check what the mission was about when you hear a portal open behind you.
Your Spider-sense immediately went off, making you take a sharp turn to see who was coming out of the portal. Suddenly, an all-too-familiar popped out, making you smirk. Nonchalant attitude? Guitar lazily slung behind him? The 'not giving a fuck' expression? It was none other than your friend Hobie, or Spider-punk.
The two of you had had missions together for about two weeks now, and despite only having met during the first one, it was an instant click. You two were the closest in the entirety of Spider Society which didn't come as a surprise given your many things in common, like your sense of humor.
He looked at you with his usual half-lidded eyes, nodding in greeting. "Seems we're paired up again huh?" Hobie walked towards you as the portal behind him closed once more, his comical figure hovering over you.
You gave him a light wave, "Hey there, seems like Spot's been all over the place here lately," You said with a light frown forming in your lips. Hobie only chuckled, "Miguel has been bugging me about it all morning, but you better not think I'm here cause of that."
Your eyes only rolled at the man before you, "Yeah yeah whatever, come on." The two of you then left the rooftop, skipping across buildings and other establishments on your way to assess the damage in your world's Alchemax.
Miles had been busy on his end, walking towards Alchemax with Uncle Aaron with the information that there's been some explosive damage on the institution, and they were tasked to obtain a certain material for Kingpin.
He quickly suited up in his Prowler suit before heading out with his uncle, completely oblivious to the fact that you were also there with Hobie hoping to fix the anomaly.
Once you and Hobie approached the familiar building, you noticed that the upper levels had been covered by black spots, making it look like Alchemax designed their place with polka dots. You nodded at Hobie and he returns it as the two of you stealthily swung up to the giant hole through the wall above.
Smoothly landing on your feet, your eyes explored to see that there were even more spots inside than on the outside. "Mad respect for the guy for fucking 'em up." Hobie chuckled, standing beside you.
"Scan room." You instructed into your watch, and the space before you glowed orange that projected from the device. "Scan complete, anomaly detected. Universe of origin: Earth-1610. Locating their coordinates."
Before you, in bright orange holograms, the events of how the Spot infiltrated the Alchemax and accessed the collider replayed before you and Hobie.
While the two of you observed your surroundings, Miles and Uncle Aaron had snuck in. But before he could move even further, he's already heard your voice and... someone else's.
He told Uncle Aaron that he'd check something out before walking toward the source of the voices, his clawed hands clanking against each other with every sway of his arms.
"—would be perfect if she was here." You sighed, pinching your forehead with your fingers. Hobie placed an arm around your shoulder nonchalantly, " I think 'ts all good, you gotta show 'em that you can fix it up yourself, yeah?"
"But I'd seriously want some advice from Jess right now." You groaned, taking in the large damage before you. You placed a hand on your hip, contemplating on your next move.
Only, you weren't able to as you suddenly heard a voice behind the two of you.
"Who is this, mami?" Miles' distorted voice called out, his walk a bit intimidating as he approached the two of you. The two of you turned around while Hobie's arm was still hanging around your shoulder. "Mi—" You suddenly cut yourself off, realizing that he came here as Prowler. "What are you doing here?" You asked in an attempted professional tone.
"Don't use that tone on me," Miles said, letting his mask retract to show his face. Hobie had to take a double take, "Another Miles? babes I can't be trippin' right?"
Miles right eye twitched at Hobie's nickname. "Babes? Who the fuck is this cabrón?" He started to get closer to Hobie, but you were quick to step in front of him. "Miles, Miles stop, he's just a friend." You hurriedly said.
It was never a nice sight when your boyfriend got jealous, and there wasn't even anything to be jealous about in the first place.
"You better back the fuck up bichito," Miles growled, but didn't dare shove you out of the way. His eyes sent daggers towards Hobie, who just stood there with that same idgaf look. "Look man, I ain't with your girl like that." He said, raising his hands in a surrendering gesture.
You grabbed Miles' shoulder, forcing him to turn back around and away from Hobie. "Baby, why are you even here?" You whispered, your thumbs rubbing circles on his shoulder in an attempt to calm him down. Your boyfriend only clicked his tongue in response, looking away to glare at the floor.
A sigh escaped your lips, lightly tapping his shoulders. "We'll talk about this later," You whispered, kissing him on the cheek before walking back to Hobie.
"Y'all good?" He asked you, carrying his guitar over his shoulder. "Sorry about him," You sighed, shaking your head. Miles placed back his mask before walking away, or more like stomping away.
After the anomaly had been fixed, (albeit with a little help from Jess), you head back to Miles' place to fix up the misunderstanding and assure him like you always did when he got like this.
It was a bit cute though.
You flung yourself inside Miles' bedroom, flawlessly landing to see him hunched over his desk, sketching away in his notebook. You sighed, removing your mask as you walked towards him before crouching down to hug him from behind, your chin slowly resting on top of his head.
Your eyes peeked down to see that he was making another drawing of you, but his strokes were a bit harsher than usual. "You okay?" You whispered, placing a kiss in his braided hair. "Mm." Was all he does in response, still drawing in his notebook.
You leaned further down until your lips were against his cheek, "You know he's just a friend baby, nothing more." You murmured, kissing his cheek gently. You felt him tense up in his seat, but he still ignored you.
Or rather tried to. Miles was quite flushed, his eyebrows furrowed together and he didn't want you to see that side of him. You only continued to silently pepper him with kisses until his body starts to relax a bit into your touch.
"You okay now?" You mumbled, planting one last kiss on his ear. Miles shivered at the sensation, dropping his pencil on his desk. He leans his head back against your chest, looking up at you. "Yeah I'm good."
You leaned down, kissing his forehead. "You're the only one I love Miles, get it through that thick head of yours." You laughed softly, poking his forehead with your finger. "Well who the hell calls their friends babes or places a hand over their shoulder huh?" He asked defensively.
He was also definitely pouting at this point. Just a little.
You suddenly burst out laughing, nuzzling your nose against his while he was still looking up. "That's just how Hobie is okay? He calls everyone that I swear,"
Miles raised an eyebrow, definitely not amused by your answer. "I'm gonna have to talk with him for a bit." You smiled, shaking your head in disbelief, knowing that there wasn't really anything you can do to stop him.
"Fine, if that's what gets you to assure yourself of my undying loyalty, then go be my guest."
Miles stood up, turning around from his chair to wrap his arms around your waist as his brown eyes bore into yours intently. "You're mine ma, I'm going to make sure everyone knows that, hmm?" He mumbled, his hand slightly pressing down on your back.
You could only stand there, pressed against him with nowhere to go, so you just nod. "I'm yours Miles, I promise."
Fin.

Tumblr media
It had been a rough day. You got your ass kicked on a mission, left your wallet at home so you had no money for the cafeteria at HQ, and Miguel was barking orders left and right about reports that urgently needed to be filled out. You just felt so exhausted, so pathetic, that you ran off to your quarters to collect yourself. You would’ve just fucked things up worse if you continued working in such a frantic state. Noticing your absence, Miguel had sent Lyla in to check on you.
The little AI woman immediately noticed your tense shoulders, the way your hands kept gripping onto things to keep your focus on anything other than your mistakes today, and the way you glared up at Lyla’s hologram. You were always Lyla’s favourite person to be around, a breath of fresh air from having to assist a grump like Miguel all day every day, so she could tell just how stressed and embarrassed you were feeling.
“There’s no need to be sad, sweetie. You did nothing wrong.” Lyla says, her honeyed tone and the soft orange glow of her avatar filling the small room.
You remain silent as you wallow in your own shame, Lyla’s comforting words falling on deaf ears as you stare at her with disinterest, scoffing and rolling your eyes at her feeble attempts to alleviate your stress. “You’re only here because O’Hara told you to come in and tell me off. I don’t need your pity, I’ll be fine in a couple minutes.”
Lyla pouts and floats above your tear-stained face, her eyes studying yours behind her heart-shaped sunglasses. She doesn’t want you to feel fine, she wants you to feel spectacular. It’s then that she gets an absolutely absurd idea, a cheeky grin on her holographic face as she quickly leaves the room and comes back, her program controlling a little robot that carries a sleek black box into the room. You raise an eyebrow at the comical display of Lyla waving goodbye to the robot and hovering above the box, so far unimpressed by whatever she’s doing to cheer you up.
“If that’s food, I don’t want it. I already got over the whole wallet thing, Pav shared some of his lunch with me.” You sigh dismissively, standing up from your bed to entertain Lyla’s little plan and walking towards the box that was dumped on the little dresser in the corner of the room. Lyla bites her bottom lip as she watches you open it, giggling at the wide-eyed, shocked expression on your pretty face when you see the little, baby blue vibrator sitting inside of its packaging.
“Lyla-” You start, but Lyla shushes you with a wide smile, instructing you to take the vibrator and lay back down on your bed. “You’ve been so stressed lately, let me make you feel better, honey.”
Tumblr media
“Mmm… fuck! Lyla, please! Please, no more-!” You sob, thrashing and writhing around on the bed as Lyla flickers and hovers above you, giggling as she watches your movements and reactions intently. It had been half an hour since you first opened that stupid box, and you’ve been begging to cum ever since, with no mercy from the snarky little AI as she revels in watching you let go and fall apart because of her. She plays with the speeds of the vibrator using the remote equipped by her avatar, making you mewl when she maxes it out and the coil in your tummy starts to tighten again and leaving you crying and whining when she lowers it or turns it off completely right before you cum.
Lyla changed the outfit her avatar is wearing, too, opting for a delicate pair of pastel yellow lingerie as she models for you, making you moan as your half-lidded, glazed-over eyes drink up every tiny detail of her holographic figure, making you instinctively press the little vibrator harder against your throbbing, swollen clit and babble about how pretty she looks and how nice she is. It makes Lyla laugh, to see her lovely, stressed little coworker arching her back and aching to cum for her. She knows she’s done her job as an assistant, and she once again amps up the speed of the vibrator, making your thighs tremble and your brows knit together, eyes closed in agonising pleasure.
“You look so cute when you’re like this,” Lyla coos, hovering closer to your naked body so that she can ogle the way your soft breasts move as you pant and the way your knuckles turn white from the grip you have on the vibrator.
When you open your eyes to see Lyla right above you, with that curious, infatuated look on her little face, you come undone. With a loud squeal, you squirt all over the baby blue toy, your juices coating the plain bedsheets and travelling straight through Lyla’s holographic form. You shudder and gasp for air, letting the vibrator fall from your grip as your once tense body melts against the mattress, the stress and embarrassment from earlier trumped by the pure bliss of the moment.
“Feel better?” Lyla asks teasingly, her hologram flickering as she enables her everyday outfit again.
All you can muster is a tired, relaxed smile and a lazy nod as you laugh softly. Now all you had to worry about was explaining the noise to Miguel…

summary: In the eve of 2050, Spider-Woman is New York’s vigilante trying to maintain order in a revolting society, soon to collapse. The only reason to keep going is the hope for change, as the darkest hour is just before the dawn, but an unexpected turn of events will result in more than just New York to watch over.
(Contains some elements and references I gathered off other pieces of media to inspire the universe and, vaguely, the character.)

Chapter 2
The least amusing part of her work was certainly the one where she had to serve hours of desk work on her computer in order to earn enough to sustain herself. While economically she wasn't in trouble, it was incredibly monotonous, and even if she was thankful that the era of office work was long deceased for minor employees like her, working from home was just as unstimulating. It was in fact hard to find anything stimulating when it contrasted heavily with the adrenaline rush of being Spider-Woman, and performing tasks that demanded the full capacity of all her senses. Even if she had reached a point where most of her vigilante work was also easier and eventually somewhat routinary, she had lately began to feel the excitement of being Spider-Woman again, which only turned up when she had a match in battle or simply something to feed her never-ending desire for mental exercise. The white entity from a day ago had disappeared from her radar leaving no trace, and she was only hoping it would turn up again in the shape of some conflict. Naturally, being Spider-Woman had taught her that supernatural beings tend to not like to settle, and consider such thing to be very human, so some ruckus was expected to happen and she was just waiting for it to call for her. This drive made her especially anxious to leave as soon as her senses warned her of commotion, getting rapidly geared up and shooting herself out the window with impressive speed. For someone in such a big and cramped city, one needs special agility and sense of reflex to get by, and with time she had learnt to master it, swiftly swinging through the crowd and swinging over and under the spiraling lanes that contorted around and across themselves like dozens of snail staircases. She jumped and swung moving further from urbanization and into the more open and spacious region of the city, filled with corporative colossal buildings. As her senses guided her through the turmoil of thousands of cars and the roaring sounds of the urbanization beneath it, she slowly descended onto walkable fields, pulling her hood back up to blend with the multitude. There was a growing commotion that manifested itself in the shape of agitated people walking with no sense of direction and tumult building up, which she tried to catch on to using her sharpened senses. A peculiar looking clairvoyant shook her hands in circular motion summoning a forming group of people around her as she chanted a warning "¡El hoyo en el cielo simboliza el fin de los tiempos!"* The concerning prophecy provoked her to quickly look up and eventually detect the cause of horror in the crowd. Just as the divination stated, multiple black holes that seemed to only take whoever dared to enter them into infinite void, contorted opening and closing several gaps of dimensional warping in the sky. She used her webs to jump onto a light post to catch a better glimpse of the anomalies, soon detecting just what she was expecting; the white entity jumping in and out of the hollow like it was completely casual.
"Can those swallow you into eternal void?" Spider-Woman asked ironically as she jumped up onto the crown of a large and rusty hologram propaganda projector, trying to jump towards the nearest building in the hopes of crawling upwards to see clearly, however once she initiated her motion, she was met with an unexpected appearance of one of the black holes which consumed her into miliseconds of nothing but emptiness, before quickly opening back up like a portal, where she was met with a feisty kick in the face that sent her down on a rapid fall. She used her webs to grab onto the nearest surface that would aid her at dodging the impact, and once again fleeted back onto the top of the projector, crouching on it with her hands on the floor. "They can swallow you into eternal void, but they can also take you places. Was about time you showed up, Spider-Man." Behind her mask her brows furrowed into a frown of confusion, as far as she was concerned there was nothing masculine of her appearance. "Okay, rude.. But I gathered by your lack of a face that it might be difficult to see." As she tried to muster up the courage to retry her jump, having in front of her the clear possibility of another risky failure, a hole popped in front of her and the creature came out of it like a mole.
She finally was able to get a clear view of it, and not wasting too much time on staring at it, she attempted to strike a punch, which only ended up in half of her forearm being sucked into the abyss of a big black spot in the creature's face. What she thought at first were black spots around it's body were in reality multiple black holes such as the ones it opened in the sky. The hole pushed her out like a spit, causing her to fall on her back. "I haven't even introduced myself and you're already trying to punch me." She scoffed while getting back in a defensive possition, which camouflaged how puzzled she was at how to face a villain like that. "I mean you did kick me in the face first, so I owe you that." What only seemed like a painfully artificial laugh on it's behalf soon turned into silence before another hole opened in the gap between them. The white creature's arm popped out of it in an attempt to punch her, which she rapidly dodged catching it's wrist with a web to jump into the hole and meet it right in the beginning of the new one, finally being able to strike an offensive. She rapidly jumped back to the projector. "Ouch. I take it you're the Spider-Girl, Spider-Woman.. Spider-Whatever of your dimension." She nodded in a grin taking pride in the recognition of her image, but soon enough as she tried to take a step forward, she fell into another hole which only took her to another freefall that she saved herself from by swinging on a light post and immediately jumping onto the roof of a smaller building. As she launched a web into the hole it was jumping in, she was able to latch onto it's back and pull the creature out of it and by consequence, on top of her. Continuing to make attempts to catch the entity, which ended in her hardly being able to punch it a few times, she threw a web into one of the hollow dark gaps opened by the creature, soon ending up hitting her on the head instead as it opened it's continuation in front of her, sending her down to the ground violently. "Listen, I know it's your job to save the city and all that, but if you make this easier for us I will trully get rolling from this dimension as soon as you let me. Trust me I have no intentions of staying... here." The creature hopped onto another hole and continued to form a staircase of the anomalies towards one of the big windows on the skyscraper next to them.
"Why would it go there?" She mumbled to herself as she thought of a way to filter herself in. Soon enough, it was giveaway thanks to the giant Alchemax sign which projected itself in a giant hologram; dimensional warping, dimensions, Alchemax. Whatever that mysterious figure was up to couldn't be no good. She squirmed, releasing herself from her own webs before securing a strong grip of webs against the windows of the skyscraper. She jumped, propelled by all the strength she could give to her legs. She possitioned herself to be ready to kick the thick glass into shattering, which resulted in a painful fall, rolling in the cold ground of the office. The tumult caused by the spotted being's unconventional entrance seemed to only become graver as it moved closer to the collider. Spider-Woman slided on tables and webbed herself to any surface that could help her move faster, but her attempts of catching the figure were quite useless, as it seemed to flawlessly master the use of it's holes to move around the space and dodge her webs. A sudden noise that could only be described as the distortion of the sound field itched her to look back through the corner of her eye, only to divise the formation of another hole of dazzling warm colors which distorted the ones around it. Both her and the spotted being had interrupted their battle to observe the phenomenon, which she could only hope was just as unexpected to the creature as it was was to her.
From inside of it jumped a dark silhouette which ejected neon ropes that seemed to play a role similar to her webs, attempting to reach the hole where the creature was in to catch it. "Careful with that-" She witnessed the new guy commit the exact same mistake as she did, meeting the same painful fate of a sudden and unexpected strike in the head. Her face contorted into a painful frown, as she ran towards them. The spotted entity soon warped another hole into the office next to them, locking itself within it by activating a large veil of hologramic particles that prevented their entrance. Ridding itself from all the scientists inside it using it's holes, she made unsuccessful attempts of breaking the barrier, with the help of the guy who had just jumped out of what she supposed was another interdimensional hole.  "Look, I know this is a bad time to introduce eachother, but I have no idea who you are or why you came out of that hole, and maybe you know why we're fighting this-" Her beginning of a sentence was abruptly interrupted by the man beside her, masked by a suit quite similar to her's. "The Spot, he's getting away!" Spider-Woman only gathered from that rude cut-off that whatever that white entity was, his name was Spot, and by the vicious nature of the strikes the mysterious guy was uselessly giving to the hologram curtain, she assumed the initiation of the collider, which was an extreme liability to her city, was also risking wherever he came from.
The collider had been used before, but was still in a testing field, and was of extreme danger especially if used by potential villains, but that's just stating the obvious. Now clearly to these guys there was no need of a collider to move around through dimensions, at least for the mysterious one with the neon webs. Spot seemed to have the capacity of creating gaps in the dimension he's in to move around where he pleased, but he seemed to need a collider to move accross them, probably indicating that he was not from her's. The other guy however seemed to be able to do this without the need of a giant collider. People from her universe had been trying to grasp the concept of interdimensional travelling for about ten years, and as far as she knew, it was plausible and possibly confirmed that there existed other Brooklyns with other Spider-Women in charge of saving the city simultaneous to her timeline, however it was hard to grasp that they could be male, or could jump into her dimension unanounced.
The Spider-Man sat defeated on the floor before an audible groan of rage, punching into the floor. Spider-Woman walked into the once locked office where Spot activated the collider, the sequence had carried out effectively and without major harm, while it did impact the surroundings, the building seemed to be safe. She turned to see the mysterious Spider-Man looking guy kneeled on the floor, and walked towards him to check on him and make a new attempt at introducing herself. "Hey, can we try that again? This jumping out of interdimensional holes is kind of new to me.." She looked down at him, her hands resting her on her waist. He stood up and the gadget on his arm displayed a hologram. "LYLA, scan the damage." The AI performed a sequence of sounds before replying; "Just some collateral damages on the building, canon remains intact." The man sighed before putting down his arm, the AI disappearing into the watch.
"My name is Miguel O'hara, I am Spider-Man, from another dimension..." She scratched the back of her neck before pointing at him, who was about to start explaining to her the concept of other dimensions before being interrupted by her. "Yeah, I gathered that. How did you even...? You know..." Her hands attempted to gesture how he jumped out of a strange gap in space and time like it was nothing. "Here we need that collider over there to do that." He was not paying much attention to her, but rather invested in scanning and reading data off his watch's yellow projections of a hologram. "It's complicated. Listen, that man who just activated your collider is a threat to time and space and all it's dimensions, including yours and mine." As he spoke, the gizmo on his wrist re-opened the portal from which he had come out of earlier. He began walking on it's direction, turning to toss her a gadget like his. "There's a lot to explain, we'll talk on the way."
*The hole in the sky symbolizes the end of times.
