ok heres the youtube upload, also on soundcloud and the internet archive :) i did some digging as well and it seems that the band originated in milwaukee, Wisconsin (so i was right in my suspicion of this being a local band) around 1994, same for the album.

i read a lot as a kid (obvi) which occasionally lead to some interesting additions to my vocabulary, like the word queer, as in meaning strange or odd. loved the word queer. and then one day, at recess, when i couldn't have been more than 7 or 8 years old, i used the word and another child in line with me said, "don't you know what that means? queer means gay." and all i've ever been able to think about that interaction ever since was who tf was teaching a child what was still pretty firmly a slur at that time.
