Behind the counter, Mickey’s smirking, eyebrows raised. If he were a regular customer, Ian would show him where they were, but he isn’t, just like their Kash and Grab days. Ian eyes the others in the store, two burly men too preoccupied to notice anything off-kilter.

“C’mon,” Ian says, “let’s check the back room.”

When they step through the door, Ian is moving, whirling Mickey to press his front to the wall, his lips against his neck. Mickey’s hand runs through Ian’s hair, tugs. “Got the tool I need, then?”

Ian grinds his hips forward. “You bet.”

Random Gallavich Headcanons cause I'm in love with shameless rn and relate just a little bit too much to the characters

Mandy and Micky are actually natural blondes

Ian talks to Micky at night when he's trying to fall asleep in the Westside because Micky needs the noise otherwise he's awake all night

Fiona was the last to find out about them in the Gallagher household

Micky and Ian are reunited with Yevgeny around his 7-8 birthday

Shortly after they move to their second apartment, Mandy appears at their doorstep and they have a big, messy reunion (and ofc its adorable because we need some healing :D)

After Svet's husband (finally) dies, a lot of his money is taken away from her but she knows this is going to happen, so as the power queen she is, she makes sure to have well over a couple of thousand hidden for herself and Yev. She makes sure he can get enrolled into a good school and they get a decent apartment not too far from Micky and Ian (even though Mick and Svet still fight like crazy). She also gives a couple of grand to Veronica and Kevin.

i don't believe in toxic fandoms but i do think fandoms can have some parts that are so fucking gross that it can ruin the rest of the fandom for me

for instance i really don't interact with the shameless fandom bc of how they treat trevor as this evil, curropt rapist when all he did was. offer ian a blunt so he could relax his ass easier? Ian had already consented to recieving anal sex, and he didn't smoke enough to cloud his judgement.

trevor was literally introduced so that Ian as a character could begin to understand his life as gay man in a healthier way, and therefore make healthier decisions in his future relationships. he never overstepped Ian's boundaries, but he encouraged him to make new decisions and be more confident in his identity. he was also a really spectacular bit of transgender representation, and it sucks ass to see a fandom claim another transgender person as a rapist just because he briefly interrupted their #OTP.

Trevor was a good boyfriend and a great character, and it's possible to admit that whilst also preferring your ship. He was necessary for Ian's character growth, because he was Ian's first completely healthy relationship. (Of course, his next one would be his little part 2 with Mickey.) You don't have to love him, but y'all really need to drop this whole "Trevor's a rapist" thing ASAP because it's leaning into some awful territory.

The fact that the Shameless team kept bringing Mickey back after basically intending his character to be a one-off and then leaned into his chemistry with Ian so hard they actually titled an episode "Gallavich!" was, and always will be, amazing.

There are so many examples of showrunners who resist that type of organic development (and HEA) that when it does happen, it's worth recognizing.

I mean he’s only in 4 episodes but Stuckey left a bad taste in most peoples mouths. Well done Noel, didn’t even realise it was him when I was watching Shameless. Also Stuckey killed one of my favourite characters whose been in it since the start. I was so pissed the first time I saw that episode.

Also hearing Mickey with a New York accent instead of the thug Chicago accent is funny. Also him saying ‘bing, bang, bong’ just amuses the hell out of me.
