So I was watching one of my core memory movies: Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas and I got inspired to draw every segment from that movie with the Star Cross Warriors cast:

A Daydreamer's Holiday Movie Marathon: Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas🐭🎄❤

We're back with another one, Mouskateers! We're back with Mickey and his friends in Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas that released in 2004. Instead of having three separate stories like the previous film, we get five new tales from Disney's golden characters. The first story stars Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck who are ice skating together until one thing led to another which leads to the two competing for the crowd's attention. Our second story stars Huey, Dewey, and Louie again as they're spending Christmas at their Uncle Scrooge's mansion with Donald and Daisy. Their mischievous behavior gets a little out of hand and Scrooge warns the boys that if they don't knock it off, they'll be put on Santa's Naughty List which gets the boys questioning if they've truly been good all year. Wanting to confirm if they're naughty or not, the boys decide to ship themselves off to The North Pole at Santa's Workshop to see for themselves while also causing more havoc. Our third story stars Goofy who can't wait for his son, Max to return home for the holidays now that he's older. Max is also bringing his girlfriend over and begs his dad to be casual and not do anything to embarrass him. Goofy does his best, but Max should know by now that having the goofiest (pun intended) father in town has some repercussions. The fourth story stars Donald Duck who isn't too keen about going for a day-out into town with Daisy and the triplets when all he wants to do is sit at home in his chair with a nice cup of hot coca by the fireplace. It doesn't help that all the people, the caroling, and holiday marketing is constantly shoved in his face fueling his temper. Finally, our last story stars Mickey and Pluto when Mickey's decorations aren't going according to plan and it causes problems for him and Pluto who only want to spend time with his best pal. Once Mickey snaps at Pluto, he runs away and finds himself with other reindeer leaving Mickey feeling guilty and searches all over to find him.

Admittedly, this isn't as heartwarming and charming as the first film. There's a lot more tension, arguing, and conflict between the characters. The animation went from hand-drawn to CGI which some people aren't the biggest fan of. However, I had much more fun with this film than the original! I watched this one the most and I remember most of what goes on in this film. My favorite stories are mainly Minnie and Daisy's story, the triplets's story, and Goofy's story since they're the most entertaining. Donald's story was okay, but there's this one scene that gave me nightmares as a kid. You'd get it if you've seen it. Mickey's story was a bit to sit through since it was sad to see the conflict between him and Pluto. Luckily, it's nice to know that they still love each other even when they're far away and it's a cute classic "Man's Best Friend" story. Overall, I enjoy Twice Upon A Christmas for what it is. I hope you find some joy while watching this too!
