oh here are the little icons i made for that fic. dont look too closely at them they were made to be pretty small. im going to fix them up to make them more usable as emojis at some point (the colors are hard to read when theyre THAT small) and also they match the colors of the text so i would also probably pick my own... but im happy enough with them they served their purpose perfectly.

Project Freelancer - where are they now? part 1/2: Blue Squad plus Tex

"All that to say, it wasn't totally new territory for Agent Hawaii to be the first Agent chosen for implantation. One thing she is far from first in is the rankings, but they have no bearing on implantation order. Considering how picky the Project have to be about neural compatibility, in order to get AI-human pairings who don't end up squealing on the floor from feedback loops or sensory input beyond comprehension, it really wouldn't be possible to pay attention to rankings."

An AU in which the Blood Gulch Crew are bottom-of-the-rankings Freelancers who happen to be the Agents chosen for compatibility with the AI fragments.

First chapter of the first work is up - in this installment, Agent Hawaii and Agent Texas go for Hawaii's first simulated battle training since her implantation and things go FUBAR.

also! how do you come up with designs and breeds to use? is it just a vibe? cause thsy're all so good dude

finally back on my grindset for a little bit between college! i wasnt going to give caboose a redesign at first, but once i decided he needed more white in his face and big fangs it was all over.

anyways! to answer your question: i come up with designs mostly just through imagining kittycats while i listen to/watch rvb. a lot of it is through vibe, but usually colors will unintentionally source from their armor color or the color i hc their hair to be. most finer details and better marking placements are banged out as i try to fill empty space and balance the designs. breeds usually involve a mix of vibe and what cat breeds have similar coloration and/or markings to the finished design. i also look for breeds thatll explain traits that i'd like to carry over from human to kitty (such as caboose's big size being a maine coon trait, sarge's mustache being a persian trait, simmons being an abyssinian bc of their jumpy/hyperactive nature, etc). i honestly have been waiting for someone to ask me about this, so im happy to finally be able to explain my process!!

Caboose choosing to bring back Tex because of the situation at hand rather than Church was a great cap off to his character. A good make up for having Season 15 to here becoming simulations.

Kinda wish Carolina bantered with Tex, giving a, “Whatever, Mom…”
