How about a figure review? It might be long so I'll have to put it all under the cut.

SO, after nearly 3 damn years I have my figure. I ordered in Feb of 2021 with them saying it would hit THAT SUMMER. *Shakes fist* The movie delays and pandemic I think fucked their releases up royally but also I had some extreme panic about losing 100$ because I paid in full with Paypal at order date. ANYWAYS... he's here now. Outside box gave way to this:

Petty complaint 1: Y'all could have commissioned some original artwork for your boxes instead. The sides are a different cover but this time from the 2020 series. I contemplated why they didn't just give me a window box.

Oh. That's why. SO... After 20 minutes of me peeling protective plastic off of literally every part of Morb...

He angy. Okay so good points: He comes with three heads, eight hands. His suit is a very cool feeling cloth and the collar STANDS UP. He's got the V-cut though it should be more whorish. The heads pop on and off his ball joint neck super easy. The hands are trickier and go on with a peg so take some wiggles. Costume is non removable and why no belt? MEZCO? What did you do to my boy's belt? One last small complaint:

Cape, not wingflaps. Look, I get that diff artists have changed that around but capes are boring. Also the cape goes longer cut than his sleeve which doesn't work well visually. If the suit is permanent they could have done wingflaps. Overall I love him, he's cool and the faces and hands have sold me entirely... but the accessories. Oh. My. God.

Guys help... that microscope folds and transforms. THE FUCKING CENTRIFUGE LIGHTS UP. The lights circle and then the computer screens light up like he got results or something!!!

The beaker and test tube come out. The dagger, hammer and stakes come out and are on a hidden tray under the lab stuff!!! You have enough stuff here to actually play doctor and then a gun for when all else fails! (I'm a healer... but) BTW they say 'syringe gun' but Mezco those are frickin bullets in that tray. Also the battery is in it's own teeny clamshell until you pop it in his case so if you store this figure long term there's no worries about batteries corroding inside a figure and destroying shiz. Accessories? 11/10 like Oh my god guys. The only problem I have is my fat sausage fingers moving and spinning things. They are TINY.

And look at this paint job! you can see his gums! His eyes are glossed! He has his facial hair! AHHHHHHHH the likeness is so good!

He is also almost perfectly Marvel Legends scale if you need a Spidey to take blood samples from or a she-hulk to inevitably bail him out from jail when he does something dumb as heck!

This was worth a three year wait, I need two more to display all the heads!!! Please excuse me for a while. I have an extreme urge to play action figures again like when I was eight. WHO WANTS TO PLAY WITH ME?

38 months and 10 days after ordering it I finally received my Mezco One:12 Collective 1989 Batman figure.

No, you’re not seeing double.  I accidentally ordered two due thaw wonky it was to connect to Mezco’s website at the time.  But worry not, the second one is already spoken for.

Was it worth the over 3 year wait?  Well, yes AND no.  I’ll go into more detail in a later post when I examine this sucker in detail.

Meanwhile, I can scratch this off the bucket list.  Given my advanced age and decrepitude, I really thought I was never going to live long enough to see this.

NYCC '24: Marvel, DC, movie characters and the Rumble Society all headline for Mezco

There wasn’t a ton of new stuff on hand in the Mezco booth at NYCC 2024, but the One:12 Collective made an impact anyway.

Terrifier's Art the Clown will join Mezco Toyz’s One:12 Collective line in April 2025. Priced at $115 with free shipping, the 6.7" action figure has over 28 points of articulation.

It comes with three heads, eleven hands (including scalpel and syringe), light-up decapitated head, sunflower glasses, brain, two garbage bags, flamethrower with attachable flame FX, cat o' nine tails, table leg, horn, hammer, knife-edge hammer, butcher knife, cleaver, hacksaw, three attachable blood FX, and display base with post.

Actually... you know what @michaelmorbiussmassiveboobies made me realize Mezco has really shorted us ALL on the tits. Look at my owner pics VS. their promotional pictures. WTF... Why did you change the cut THAT DRASTICALLY? (Spouse also pointed out that in his sale pics the cape IS adhered to his sleeves as it should be and does not extend past them. They never give us a back view in sales pictures. I HATE the draculish nature of this cape. If I buy a second one I may have to try to mod him. TF am I saying 'if'? WHEN I GET A SECOND ONE THAT CAPE GETTING DICED)

The Leatherface I own is the Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective figure

I love him soooo much 💖 he's INCREDIBLY articulated and detailed (you can see the detail of his eyes under the masks!), about 6 inches tall, and comes with roughly a billion accessories lol

Like literally he comes with the 3 mask heads, 8 different hands (L&R in 4 poses), actual fabric clothes with 2 removeable aprons and the removable jacket, Pam's bracelet, a hammer, a cleaver, a bone knife, a blood bucket, and his chainsaw. Also the stand with the movie poster on the base.

AND they give you some blood splatters to make it look like the weapons in motion when you pose him.

AND AND the chainsaw makes SOUND. idk why but it's great lmao

I, personally, got him from a toy store in Haarlem, NL, bc my husband bought him for me as a Christmas present

But I think you can buy him easily from a few online retailers.

I know Big Bad Toy Store seems to have him in stock, and I think there's an Amazon listing - where he does seem to be on sale right now, there is one review and it says the box was damaged, but they don't mention anything wrong with the figure.

Usually he costs between $100 and $150

but I think he's super worth it!! I mean look at him 🤗

Went to pick up my comics at Comic Sense (amazing shop in Belpre, Ohio - check it out if you're ever nearby) and the owner had a surprise for me. It wasn't the Ultimate Dracula figure I had ordered that came in (beautiful figure, by the way) but Mezco's 1:12 The Crow figure.

I had just picked up the Hot Toys 1:6 scale The Crow not to long ago so I wasn't thinking about pre-ordering this one, but it was definitely on my radar. I've been getting back into toy collecting and knowing that I had no plans of fully unboxing my Hot Toys Crow, I did want another quality figure that I could take out of the box and pose. I can still look at the Hot Toys figure and enjoy it, but this is a different experience.

This film saved my life and that is not an exaggeration. It came along at a time in my life when I was battling against suicidal thoughts and managed to show me that even with the pain there was not just something to live for, but something worth coming back to life for. The image of the bird with Eric Draven's eyes superimposed on the wings was my first tattoo for this reason. I've literally watched this movie more than 1,000 times and it is the only movie that I can claim that with. It is also the only film I've owned on VHS (multiple copies because I've worn them out), DVD and Blu-ray. I went to my first major comic book convention just because James O'Barr was there (but I didn't get to meet him).

All that said, this is the first figure of Eric Draven I've seen with Gabriel the cat. Just wanted to get that out there into the universe. If you're looking for a great looking Eric Draven with amazing accessories, I can recommend this one.
