...We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold. I remember saying something like I feel a bit lightheaded; maybe you should drive....'' And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the top down to Las Vegas. And a voice was screaming:Holy Jesus! What are these goddamn animals?''

I have little idea what others think of me Except when I think it's bad
I don't know what normal is except that it's something I'm not
I've had a half dozen encounters with psychedelics
One time I sensed a message of comfort and reassurance from god
A bit later at a theater in Yellow Springs Ohio a toilet spoke my name and the walls pulsed blue and yellow
We ended that adventure shooting at an old bucket in Leo's backyard with a Smith & Wesson 38
I was a bad shot and the gun gave a nasty kick

I stole this from a friend bc it is Tumblr relevant 🦀🦀🦀🦀
[Photo is of a page in a book (edit: book is “William Blake vs. the World” by John Higgs, thanks @cafe-dorian) that says: In 1926 Sartre took what turned out to be, with hindsight, an excessive dose of mescaline. As a result he spent many years hallucinating sea creatures, who made a nuisance of themselves while he attended to his duties.
As he told the political science professor John Gerassi in 1971, 'after I took mescaline, I started seeing crabs around me all the time. They followed me in the streets, into class. I got used to them. I would wake up in the morning and say, "Good morning my little ones, how did you sleep?". I would talk to them all the time. I would say, "OK, guys, we're going into class now, so we have to be still and quiet. And they would be there, around my desk, absolutely still until the bell rang.']

The war on drugs is bullshit and always has been. The reason weed and so many other relatively harmless drugs like Shrooms, LSD, Mescaline, & DMT are Illegal is so Americans could be oppressed. The fact that most “Libertarians” don’t want them to be at least decriminalized is a sure fire way of showing that they may call themselves one but don’t have any fucking clue what they mean. Here is a quote from Nixons aid John Ehrlichman.
"We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."- John Ehrlichman, 1994

The hallucinatory and psychotomimetic drugs such as mescaline, marijuanas, LSD-25, and microtine are sometimes mistakenly associated with narcoanalytic interrogation. These drugs distort the perception and interpretation of the sensory input to the central nervous system and affect vision, audition, smell, the sensation of the size of body parts and their position in space, etc. Mescaline and LSD-25 have been used to create experimental "psychotic states," and in a minor way as aids in psychotherapy.

I'm not afraid of you. I'm tired of paying these fucking bills by myself, your secret society can't even send me a fucking roommate to help with these fucking bills I'm fucking exhausted all the fucking time. Give me a reason to stay in the states and I won't move. I was thinking of moving to Canada, of even more adventurous Australia.
I get it bro you tested on animals for a long time and now you've perfected the neurological implant great accomplishment (unless Santiago is working with the United telepaths of Earth) but I never asked for this. They won't leave me alone now every sexually active telepathic celebrity has made his\her rounds trying to get my attention.
PROPOSED SOCIETY NAMES:
The Awnry Telepath Society?
Extra Terrestrial Love Machines?

Thomas began to feel a transcendental force wash over him. Part of it was euphoria: “Everything was in its right place, and everything was going to be all right,” he recalled. But more than that, he felt the power of insight into his body and health. Suddenly, it was as if he could “communicate telepathically” with his muscles. Giddy with energy, Thomas began exercising in his room.
This was unlike his previous trips on psilocybin mushrooms, which sometimes left him feeling like a passenger on an unplanned ride. The cactus gifted him control and the ability to introspect, he told me.
Again and again, people who experiment with mescaline cacti say that they conjure uniquely gentle, long-lasting psychedelic breakthroughs full of reverence.
