#Merula is litteral neurodivergent and a minor

Your honor, Merula Snyde is a very traumatized child who does not understand the value in Penny's power.

I love Hogwarts Mystery. But I have to say that hearing/reading Merula Snyde talk time and again that she's the most powerful witch in her generation while Penny Fucking Haywood exists is hilariously eye-rolling.

Merula:is a huge braggart,but doesn't do anything noteworthy.

Penny:casually connects the player to random stuff,has contacts pretty much everywhere,has Snape's favor.

As a Slytherin,not only I feel secondhand embarrassment whenever Merula's loser ass talks herself up,but I also can't go without giving Penny props. Okay,I know Penny Haywood's soft power exists for plot convenience,but it feels believable and even realistic(to an extent,there are plenty of artistic licenses taken) - an outgoing,geniunely nice,hardworking,talented pretty girl who likes to participate of all kinds of activities is hardly something absurd.

On a tangent,the Hogwarts Mystery developers seem to love Hufflepuffs,and I'm all here for it(despite my OC being a Slytherin - yes,she's an OC. The game gives the most vague characteristics ever).

PS:I do like Merula,she's a cool character and we all need more girls in the roles mentioned above.

No spoilers beyond Year 3,please! I'm just ranting.
