#Mermicorno: Starfall

So if you're following me you might be confused about what this character is. This is a character called Astra from a show coming out on Max and Cartoon Network in 2 weeks called Mermicorno: Starfall. Shows not even out yet and it's already got me hooked, although it seems mostly to be a magical girl show. I decided to draw Astra because she quickly became one my my favorite characters in the show. I plan to draw more Mermicorno: Starfall characters in the upcoming months.

Some say that this show might become the next MLP, or have a Fandom like MLP. I'm not exactly sure if that would 100% because yes, while the show is catered around pony-like-creatures (Mermicornos in this case) that doesn't mean it's 100% guaranteed to get a Fandom like MLP's back in the early 2010s. The only way I see this show getting an Fandom like MLP is if the characters, stories, and animation is actually good enough for a bunch of people/Bronies(?) to actually like it and cause the Fandom to turn that big, But it's pretty rare for shows to get a big Fandom like MLP's (ironically Atomic Cartoons (the same company that animated MLP: Make your Mark) animated this show (Mermicorno: Starfall), and Kimberly-Ann Truong, a voice actor who voiced Posey Bloom in My Little Pony: Tell your Tale and My Little Pony: Make your Mark, is also in this show playing as Squishella). Will this show be super popular as MLP? It'll mostly be decently popular once the show comes out, but I'll be surprised if this show manages to get a fandom as big as MLP's.
