#Megumi was always so important to everyone he just needed Yuji to remind him.

༄ Will I ever get to see you for Christmas?
༄ A *long* post analysis, about the significance of December 24th & 25th, for Yuji and Megumi.
༄ Extra Section: Santagumi/Santaguro Theory.
✧༚˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚ ˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚ ˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚ ˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚˚✧
༄ Let's Start with a Comparison of Yuji’s reactions
Yuji’s face, when he realized Santa was real because he heard the sound of his bells, thinking he might get a chance to see him for Christmas.
vs.
Yuji’s face, when he realized Megumi would be gone and he would never get a chance to see him for Christmas and from now on.
༄ Keep in mind, that both of these scenes happened inside Yuji’s domain. And that the first scene is the last memory Yuji shows Sukuna when they were walking in his domain. He also says after, that he thinks showed him everything he wanted.
༄ Comparison of the Shading and Runny Nose
So after comparing these two panels of Yuji, I noticed that the way Yuji’s face is shaded, and his runny nose, look extremely similar to each other.
It seems odd to me that in the second panel, his face is shaded like he's in the cold. But, in the memory with young Megumi, its warm outside based on Megumi’s clothing.
In the manga, Yuji never had shading on his cheeks when he was crying, the only time he ever did was when he found out his grandfather died. He's also never shown crying with a runny nose. And on top of all these things, he's missing all of his facial scars.
It's just a theory, but I think these two scenes were always meant to be connected. I think gege intentionally added in these comparisons because he wanted to show us the connection between Yuji’s childhood innocence, dreams and beliefs. And how all these things are tied to his loneliness without Megumi.
༄ Background Information
If you remember, Gojo scheduled the Shinjuku Showdown fight, on December 24th, Japan's most romantic day of the year, to avoid having two separate death anniversaries for Geto. (aka Gojo being down bad)
When Megumi expressed that he didn't want to live anymore, Yuji would have ended up killing him, similar to what Gojo did to Geto on December 24, after “The Night Parade of 100 Demons.”
This means that Megumi wouldn’t have lived to see December 25th, Christmas day. And we know that Yuji has never gotten to see Megumi, on any Christmas because they had only just met in June of that same year.
༄ So how does Yuji’s mention of his belief in Santa, compare to not getting a chance to see Megumi for Christmas?
༄ A look into Yuji’s Childhood Innocence, Dreams and Beliefs
As children, our innocence allows us to believe in anything.
When Yuji was younger he showed us a memory where he said hearing bells made him believe that Santa was real. (In the first panel at the beginning)
If you look at the picture Yuji looks surprised and curious. Like all kids, it seems that Yuji was innocent enough to believe that one day if he heard those bells, he might get a chance to see Santa.
But, when he discovered that Santa wasn't real anymore, his dream of getting a chance to see Santa was crushed. He had no choice but to accept losing something he found so special to him.
Something Yuji thought was special enough to show Sukuna, in hopes of trying to convince him of the value, that was within someone (Yuji), he didn't care about.
Something so special he remembered the memory because it was something that showed value to who he was as a person.
A person who chooses to believe in something (Santa), that he couldn't even see with his own eyes.
But, when Yuji believed he could save Megumi, he was determined to hold on tightly to that dream. He was determined to train hard and learn about souls, in order to get a chance to see him again.
Just like when he couldn't see Santa, Yuji couldn't see Megumi during this time, but he still believed that he could one day reach his soul and save him.
He couldn't accept losing someone so special to him. He couldn't allow his dreams to get crushed, not again because it would destroy who he was as a person.
At the end of the day, he was only 15 years and just wanted to see his friend again.
Even before the scene where Megumi first told him he’d had enough, Yuji ended up telling himself that he’d wake Megumi up “as many times” as it would take. And repeated twice after that scene, that he wouldn’t give up on him.
However, after realizing that he couldn't force Megumi to live, he had to let go of the belief that he could save him, lose a special person, and crush his dreams.
Yuji had to accept Megumi would no longer exist in his life, just like when he accepted Santa no longer did. He would never get the chance to see Megumi for Christmas, just like when he would never get the chance to see Santa for Christmas.
༄ Gift Exchange, on December 24th, Christmas Eve, Inside Yuji’s Domain.
In Japan, December 24th is known to be a romantic day, where partners often spend time together and exchange gifts with each other.
Romantic shipping aside, romance can happen in any type of relationship. Even in friendships, platonically.
Romance is a feeling of love or strong attraction towards another person. It can also refer to the actions and behaviors that express those feelings. (definition from google)
Romance is just a feeling of love and I can’t deny that those two guys [mutually] love each other. Whether that be platonic, romantic, or both it doesn’t matter to me because love is love.
In a way, Yuji and Megumi saving each other was their gift to each other, on December 24th, inside Yuji’s domain.
༄ Yuji’s Gift to Megumi/Yuji’s Loneliness Without Megumi
Yuji's gift to Megumi was to make Megumi feel like he mattered just for existing alongside him, in his lonely life. In a way, Megumi was Yuji’s first friend after he decided to stop being a loner because he was determined to fulfill his grandfather’s wishes or “curse.” The curse of helping lots of people so he could die, with lots of people surrounding him. So he could die without feeling lonely like how his grandpa did.
It was just like the day he first died at the detention center. If you look at this [post], Yuji was able to die with a smile because Megumi was by his side. And because he was there, Yuji was able to smile and tell Megumi to live a long life, along with Gojo and Nobara.
Even though he had only known Megumi for two weeks, and was surrounded by only one person, he was happy. He wasn't lonely because his first friend was there with him. It didn't matter that he had his heart ripped out of his chest, he still died filled with love.
This is the perfect scene to represent, just how important Megumi’s existence has always been to ending Yuji’s loneliness. This is why he tells Megumi, “It’ll be so lonely without you, Fushiguro.”
He was going to lose the first friend he made after deciding to become a Jujutsu sorcerer. Yuji isn't telling him to live when he says this, but it's his way of saying goodbye, by acknowledging how much Megumi meant to him, and how lonely he would feel, with the absence of him in his life.
He saved Megumi because his goodbye encouraged Megumi to decide on his own, whether or not he wanted to continue living. He didn’t force him or push him. In a way, he gave Megumi his agency back to take control over his own life and do something that would benefit his own sake, for once.
Megumi finally did something he chose on his own, and that was deciding to continue fighting. He saw how valuable he was because Yuji acknowledged and reminded him, to see how valuable he was.
For Yuji, Megumi’s existence in his life, was what didn't make him lonely. He didn't want to change who Megumi was as a person, he only wanted him to exist by his side, continuing to be who he was. He didn't care about whether Megumi did bad things to save others, he didn't care about how strong he needed to be as a sorcerer, he only just wanted his friend back.
༄ Megumi’s Gift to Yuji
For Yuji’s gift, Megumi took it upon himself to become the living embodiment of a blessing, determined to save Yuji. (It doesn't even help that Megumi’s name means blessing.)
His gift for him was, allowing Yuji to keep his belief in saving him, by choosing to live just once more. He saved Yuji from a crushed dream, a lifetime of loneliness, and not being able to see a special someone for Christmas.
༄ Final Thoughts
It’s a win-win situation for both of them. They can see each other for Christmas, after Christmas, forever ever after after, and go on, to live Happily Ever After. The End.
On a serious note, even though they are both still Jujutsu Sorcerers and they lost people dear to them, the journey now feels less terrifying because they have each other's support, once again. Moving forward, they can rely not only on one another but also on their comrades, who are always there to help them.

༄ Extra Section: Answering this [Posts] Question
༄ Santagumi/Santaguro
The last two volumes of Jujutsu Kaisen were released on December 25, 2024, Christmas Day in Japan. So, if you bought and read the volumes on that day, it would feel like Yuji really did get to see Megumi for Christmas.
The release date being set for Christmas, being a coincidence, I think not. Especially since on the last page of ch. 271, that was released way back in September, stated the last two volumes would be released on December 25th.
Lol, I don't care if this is crumbs, but I have reason to believe that the Santa behind Yuji, is supposed to be Megumi and his version of Tranquil Deer Shikigami.
Tranquil Deer is a shikigami that can heal through reverse cursed technique. We only get to see this shikigami being used by Sukuna, so we don't know what Megumi’s deer would look like. But, I assume it would be smaller because most of Megumi’s shikigami are larger for Sukuna.
In a way, Megumi healed Yuji’s loneliness by gifting him the best gift on December 24th, Christmas Eve, Japans most romantic day of the year.
༄ Christmas in Japan
Although, the majority of Japan doesn’t celebrate Christmas as a religious holiday, Christmas in Japan is known for kids waiting on Santa to give them gifts. (Similar to a lot of other places.)
Gege decided it was necessary to give us a bonus drawing of kid Yuji on December 25th, Christmas Day, with Santa behind him?!?! The same scene from in his domain with Sukuna, but the two stark differences are, Santa flying behind him with a reindeer and now he’s smiling?!?!
Yeah, since when was Santa that tiny, didn't have his signature belly, and flew around with one reindeer? Even in Japan, Santa is shown to have his belly.
At this point, I know it's you up there Megumi, trying to heal Yuji's childhood dream of getting a chance to see Santa for Christmas. With you flying behind him in disguise, with your Tranquil Deer Shikigami. Showing up just in time so he might get a glimpse of Santa.
Most importantly, this drawing may also symbolize Megumi healing Yuji by deciding to continue living, so that his belief in saving him happens, so his dreams aren't crushed. Like how his dreams of Santa was crushed.
Megumi just might be the healer of dreams who knows?
༄ Final Thoughts
I don't know how true my theory is about Megumi being Santa in that picture, but what I can tell you for sure, is that gege wanted to show us, just how special Christmas will always be for Yuji.
༄ Cute Mention
Yuji’s smile, with “Santagumi/Santaguro” for Christmas.
vs.
Yuji’s [smile], when he realized that Megumi was fighting back, showing him that was going to get a chance to see Megumi for Christmas and from now on.

Q. how does one get over their first love?
synopsis: asking jjk men personal questions that they have to answer honestly
part 2 of my: jujutsu kaisen interview series
includes: Gojo, Geto, Nanami, Toji, Megumi, Yuji
Gojo: "over their first love?” he takes a moment to answer. It is a difficult question. he turns his head away, seeming a bit troubled. Gojo eventually smiles warmly and speaks up "sometimes, you don't. you hold on to that love your entire life, despite how much it may hurt. It's... a bit like a scar, don't you think? you never lose the physical reminder of their presence" he smiles "but, over time, that scar becomes a bittersweet memory. while there may be pain attached to it, there is also happiness. I don't think you'll ever truly get over your first love. you’ll always hold a place for them in your heart. you’ll always have hope that things will work out, that you'll get back together, etc. It may not seem like much of a consolation, but that's the truth. and it's far more meaningful than trying to forget about your first love. they shouldn't be forgotten at all, even by the passage of time"
Geto: he crosses his arms "that’s a rather tricky question" he’s quiet for awhile before answering "the best way to get over one's first love, in my opinion, is to realize that the 'first love' they had, was merely an experience, and does not define who they are or the future relationships they may have. It will take time and patience. a lot of it. time to heal and understand that it was the past and the future awaits to be written. patience is needed to wait for that future and not to dwell on past relationships"
Geto tucks a few strands of hair that managed to escape behind his ears. he speaks softly
"and, do be kind to yourself in this hard and tough journey. the path to love is never easy. no matter what others tell you"
Nanami: he takes a second to think and starts speaking in a slower, more contemplative tone. "getting over one's first love can be very difficult or very easy depending on the person. it is usually the first case. but at the same time, the person you first fell in love with can leave a mark and memory for the rest of one's life. this does not mean you should let this person hold you back from any of the other relationships, opportunities, etc, that may come. in other words, letting go and growing is an important step for your next stage in life. and again, life doesn’t really stop for anyone" he pauses to add on "it’s everyone’s first life. you’re human. you’ll heal. you’ll let go. you’ll be okay"
Toji: he rests his arms on the sofa and smirks "find someone new to love. duh. there are plenty of fish in the sea you know?"
hearing his response your eyes can't help but twitch in annoyance "pardon me?"
Toji exhales loudly, almost as if you're the one being difficult "alright I'll be serious. the first love is always the hardest, but it’s important to remember that it doesn’t always have to be that way. sometimes, the key is accepting that the relationship wasn't meant to be. sounds harsh but life’s even more harsh. sometimes, you have to let go of that first love so you can move on to something better"
you nod eagerly, urging him to not stop and finish his thoughts
"but don't be afraid to fall in love again. yes, it’s gonna hurt if it doesn’t work out, but if you’re always afraid of it happening, then you’ll never know if there was something better for you. just be sure to use your head before you decide to open your heart again"
Megumi: he blinks and ponders about the question deeply in his head "a first love is a difficult and complicated experience. It can be difficult to let go, especially after you've shared so many memories and experiences together. however, it's important to remember that even if the relationship didn't work out, that doesn't mean they weren't important or that you need to erase them from your mind. Instead, accept the situation for what it is and work on creating new bonds that can fill the void left after the breakup. It may take time and effort" he nods firmly "but eventually the pain from that first love will subside. and you’ll be alright"
Yuji: he grips his chin, thinking seriously "well, i guess you don’t really get over it. you learn to live with it. you learn to accept that things ended for a reason and that love isn’t something that’s meant to last forever most of the time. enjoy the time you have with the person you love, even if they aren’t the one you want to spend the rest of your life with. that love is a good memory to have, so don’t ruin it" he smiles before saying "and also? if they leave you? let them. you deserve someone who wants to stay. and will stay. dont let anyone make you think otherwise!"

Work Song
I was not going to write this, but hell, I just saw a a video of the lyrics and with everything that happens well... Guess it was stronger than me. It always is.
A reminder that English is not my first language.
"heavens and hell were words to me. When my time comes around, lay me gently in the cold hard earth. No grave can hold my body down, I'll crawl home to her."
Spoilers of manga ahead.
No one could listen to anything. It was a dead silence to him, at least.
His body was hurting and his head not working right, but the only thing he was noticing was how something was missing. Something wasn't there, and it should have been. Something was wrong.
He has to go back to her.
At first no one noticed. The kids, happy that they survived, grieved the dead, cried for them, laughed and then resumed their lives. Some of them visited Shoko at the morgue, others went out of school completely. But the only important thing was how they were alive.
Shoko, Utahime and Ijich were the only adults alive. Shoko was the only one left behind. Ijichi tried. He would come everyday, ask her to drink, and the doctor would only smile and say she had so much work to do.
Utahime would show up unannounced and bring her to do something, and at first Shoko would do, for some minutes before taking her things and going back to her house.
Her house. Gojo's house.
No one speaks about how his body just wasn't there to be cremated, no one told a thing about how Shoko was living in his apartment. No one knew what to say.
The kids sometime tried. Megumi would show up, awkward and young, looking at Shoko's face and ask if she was okay.
She was always okay.
Yuji would bring some food, smile and ask if she needs help with anything.
She was always okay.
Nobara would sit by her side, saying nothing, eye patch like a pirate, she once said.
Shoko was okay, she said too.
They noticed something wrong when Shoko disappeared. No one could talk to her, no one could call her and that was a motive to everyone to freak out. She was the healer. She was the only thing . . .
She was the only person left behind, and they needed her.
Yuuta had found her. She was crying, holding her own leg, bucket right beside her. The young man, because he was not a kid, not anymore, held her, long arms around her body, finally noticing how her belly was bigger, how her hands were shaking, and how maybe, just maybe, shoko was not okay.
Shoko was pregnant.
Satoru's kid.
But something more. Something more had happened.
They all agreed, while Ieiri was sleeping, that her cursed energy was high, and how skinny she was, and they all agreed they should look out for her. it would be something Gojo would've asked. They were sure.
"He would never ask that", Utahime said, looking at her sleeping friend. " He would never ask because would never believe that he would leave her."
" He would come back to her." Ijichi whispers, and the kids agreed.
But he wasn't there.
Shoko agreed, she needed help, but no one should ever be at her house. Their house. Never.
And more signs showed up.
They couldn't touch her. Just like Satoru's mugen, it was formed a wall around Shoko. She was being protect by the kid, they said, she was properly carrying the next Six Eye. The only Gojo Heir.
She started to talk alone. No one really cared about that, but at anytime, if you looked at her, right there she would be, whispering things, telling the walls about something. They didn't understand, but they never asked to stop.
She was laughing. As her belly got bigger and bigger, more laughs came from her, she was happier, even if her face still looked like a skull's one. She was beautiful. A morbid kind of beautiful.
And once, between the silence and dark, Yuuji looked at his friends and told them how much of a death's bride she looked like.
And hell happened then.
July 15th. Obon. Where they all looked at the dead ones..
Shoko was screaming, on labor , and no one could at least touch her, or get close to her, because right beside her, holding her hands, it was him.
Satoru Gojo.
And if Satoru Gojo once was the strongest sorcerer, what should they expect of the curse?
But he was there and everything started to make sense. Because who was protecting her was not the baby, never the baby and always him. Always Satoru.
White hair, blue eyes, and so much love for her, Satoru was there, holding his lover, whispering things that no one could ever understand but her.
On July 15th the last Gojo was born.
On July 15th, everyone, at Shoko and Satoru's apartment saw how the curse lifted the doctor's dead body with so much love and never looked at the baby, who was just crying.
On July 15th they found the body of Satoru in his apartment, they were left with a baby and never heard of Shoko and Satoru again.
And they were sure, they would never see them again, because in the end, Satoru only had come back to her.
And the only proof of their love was the kid, white hair, blue eyes and the same mole his mother once had.

hii !!!
so i decided to reread pomegranate ink bc i just love it way too much, and I FORGOT HOW FUNNY TULLIA IS, i literally love her sm omg she’s definitely one of my fav characters that you’ve written (along with friedrich from SITH!)
i completely forgot how WHIPPED yuta is for the mc & im absolutely living for it omg. the way he was so protective over her during the goodwill event & literally went batshit crazy bc she got hurt had me wanting to scream /pos
i also love how supportive noritoshi is! instead of making him a toxic partner, you made him trusting and supportive and it’s so refreshing. other authors may have gone with the cliche & made him toxic, and i’m so glad you didn’t. how he acts so sweet to the mc and wants her to be happy despite their situation is so endearing to me. it shows that he cares sm abt her platonically & i adore their friendship <3
AND TOGE!!! i love how he’s been a shoulder to lean on since the beginning! he’s helped the mc out sm & he’s such a reliable friend to her. their friendship is also one i adore. & toge & tullia are so cute, i hope they get together soon!
i’m loving tanvi’s character so far!! you rlly have such a good way of incorporating ocs into the story where they’re not just randomly thrown in. and you always find a way to show their importance too! i can’t wait to see more of tanvi in the future! she seems so sweet & i feel like her & tullia would get along so well.
sorry for ranting sm!! i just love pomegranate ink with my whole heart. it’s definitely my second fav of your fics, right behind SITH!
i’m interested to hear what you would do in regards to when yuta comes back during shibuya. like, would the mc stay in tokyo & meet the first-years & participate in the goodwill event or would she go with yuta overseas? it’d be cool to see her interact with the first-years though!! especially nobara, i feel like those two would get along despite nobara’s headstrong personality! i also think her & yuji would be good friends! thinking abt how gojo wanted to set her up with megumi would be funny in regards to those two meeting for the first time LMFAO. i definitely think megumi would respect her like he does yuta & i feel like she’d be like a protective older sister figure to him or maybe she’d remind him of tsumiki in a way?? i just like theorizing! :D
i’ll stop rambling now haha, i hope you’re doing well & taking care of yourself! :))
— 🪐
HIII sorry for the late response I feel like I’ve been kinda MIA recently!!
I feel like it’s not Yuta if he’s not at least a little whipped I’m glad you liked how I wrote him :) halfway through that fic I gave up on trying to make everyone be in character and just decided to write based on vibes alone HAHAHHA I think the best way to describe it is JJK vol 0 on crack tbh
I considered going the typical route or having him be in love with her but it’s just sm better with them as friends. Noritoshi is so sweet and he deserves sm and I hate when authors make characters villains for no reason when canonically they probably wouldn’t behave that way
TOGE IS SO GOBLIN I LOVEEE HIM he feels like someone who will just always come through when you really need him and isn’t afraid to say things straight up 🫶🏼 the best friend we all need FR and you’re so right he and tullia should be together by now…maybe if I ever actually wrote they would be 💔💔
Aww thank you I love using OCs so I’m glad people like them!! Tanvi will be a love interest for an already-introduced character but I will leave it a mystery as to who 🤞🏼
DON’T APOLOGIZE I LOVEEE LONG ASKS I always get happy when I see them in my inbox hehehe they’re the best form of validation Fr
MC will stay in Tokyo when Yuta goes overseas!! She’ll probably have a more background role because otherwise some plot points simply wouldn’t happen (ex during the exchange event she would be left to fight Todo as they’re evenly matched and she’s beaten him before) but she will be present for most major things. I think nobara would definitely look up to her the way she does with maki, and I think the MC would probably love the fact that someone thinks she’s strong HAHAH. I do think she would like yuji a lot as well!! Honestly she’s a pretty friendly person I think she doesn’t really dislike anyone (except for naoya). I can see yuji and tullia getting along very well though! And as for megumi…I think gojo would constantly be third wheeling or indiscreetly spying on them anytime they try to talk so that might make it hard for them to be super close but who knows lol.
I’ve been doing pretty well recently, just been super busy which is why I haven’t written anything in so long. I watched the new AOT ep with my family today which will hopefully motivate me to update SOMETHING soon hahaha.

No worries about length! I'm more than happy to discuss stories and topics on them.
I'll definitely pour over the Sukuna Vs. Gojo fight in the future--that is one of my goals to analyze, though I fear that post is going to be a mile long, lmao. What strikes me about that fight is just how empty it was--everyone's character-writing has suffered since...some point in Culling Games, not entirely sure where, but Sukuna and Gojo both are such important characters to the story, with wildly different levels of characterization. Sukuna's absence for so long after Shibuya and his takeover of Megumi have left a lot of room to fill.
Whereas with Gojo, I think he's always been one of the lucky few characters to get a wealth of nuance and subtle moments. In regards to progressing Gojo, I don't think the fight actually accomplished that. The pre-fight scenes are fascinating, such as his discussion with Ijichi and the resting bitch face (I'm forgetting the word for the emotion I want to describe) he adopts from his encounter with Kenjaku (and which returns directly before the fight). The way he perks up at his students, but stays on-guard and yet arguably more honest with some of the adult characters, is pretty enthralling.
But for the fight...there isn't a whole lot. He implies at the start that he's going to capitalize on a weakness he perceives in Sukuna to either kill him and save Megumi, or just straight-up kill both. When he finds out that Megumi is the one getting mind-blown by his Domain Expansion, he's shocked, but I don't think much time or space within the manga is devoted to this. Without any of his students around, their importance to him largely takes a backseat, outside of when he taunts Sukuna about helping to make Gojo "look even cooler" in front of them.
In general, I think a lot of character threads and focus on his established motivations were dropped. With Sukuna, we just don't learn much. He gets annoyed by Gojo (something we'd seen before), underestimates him at times (something that happened a lot with Sukuna & Yuji), and feels uneasy, but his trash-talk doesn't reveal much. Even the presence OF trash-talk doesn't do a whole lot, since he'd done it plenty before, regardless of whether he was winning or losing. So there isn't, as far as I remember, a noticeable drop or uptick in his dialogue. Nothing frenzied, no sudden quiet.
I do think Sukuna gave his all, simply because he had to use his 'trump card' to kill Gojo in the first place, instead of being able to catch Yuji and co. off-guard. Additionally, he used plenty of Shikigami during the battle, and lost most, if not all, of them. In particular, losing Mahoraga knocks his potential mayhem down some notches. That, and just the sheer amount of damage he sustained. Unless he took all of that for funsies, and we ignore the narration about him being uneasy, it's very unlikely that he would not have put his all there, other than trying to save his true form as a full heal, which he uses against Kashimo.
Overall, I think Sukuna just hasn't been characterized efficiently, so it's not a 'you' problem. I love subtle character arcs, and moments that need multiple reflections to truly grasp, but this doesn't remind me of any great character-writing I've seen before, and it certainly doesn't give me an understanding that I can feel confident in, or at least one that doesn't feel contradictory.
Going through earlier chapters, a lot of these same issues that I have are there, with even less answers. Early Sukuna, though, is largely benefitted by the limitations set out for him by the narrative and his imprisonment within Yuji. If nothing else, I really, really miss being able to gauge Sukuna's emotions by how they were translated through Yuji's body, such as within the Juvenile Detention Center and Chapter 11. I don't think this carried over to Megumi, though I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for that. I doubt we'll see particularly intriguing and captivating expression-work until Sukuna is challenged again, as a character, be it through a fight or a set of limitations. Unfortunately, Higuruma's trial was rendered bust, so it's all up to Yuji (and perhaps Megumi, if he regains livelihood) now. ...Moreso than ever, even.
Might have to make that Sukuna analysis post sooner than I thought, lmao. Talking through my understanding of the character and my frustrations with his writing is getting me to a clearer point, but I need the evidence to back up my arguments; and to assess if I'm barking up the wrong tree. I'm already going to be rereading the first half of the manga again, and need to do so specifically to find what Kenjaku has said about Tengen, but it's mildly annoying. Even for a vent post, I want to make sure I have a basis to work off of--not just my likely-flawed recollections.
Something I'll specifically be tackling is the weight of Sukuna's words and actions. How he carries himself, whether or not what he tells himself and others matches up to his reality, and especially how he treats Yuji. He seems very much the kind of guy to believe in his own lie, thinking he's more secure than he is. Part of it is the sheer 'And then the circumstances they needed magically fell into their lap.' contrivances that keep popping up in JJK. I'm not sure that any character has suffered worse for it (in terms of being entertaining and reputation) than Sukuna. Not even Kenjaku, I think. But like I said, I need evidence.
It's gonna be a drag, but I WILL have far too many screenshots that I don't use.
#Jujutsu Kaisen#JJK#Spoilers#Jujutsu Kaisen Spoilers#JJK Spoilers#JJK Manga Spoilers#Sukuna Salt#Sukuna Critical#< I'm not so much expressing salt here. But will tag to keep this chokeholded by filters.#Discussion#JJK Discussion#I was originally going to include comparisons between Sukuna's expressions. But I felt that it would be a bit much.#Thank you for your input!

ITADORI YUJI + FUSHIGURO MEGUMI + GOJO SATORU + RYŌMEN SUKUNA || HOW THEY WOULD APOLOGISE TO THEIR MAD S/O
| featuring : itadori yuji + fushiguro megumi + gojo satoru + ryomen sakuna from jujutsu kaisen
| warnings : grammar errors and a lot of my side comments
| form : headcanons
| published : 27 november
| request : Hello! How are you? Hope you’re taking care of yourself :3 can I request headcanons for Itadori, Megumi, Gojo, and Sukuna making their s/o really mad for x reason and what they would do to make it up to them/apologize? Thank you have a great day/night!
| barista’s notes : hiya! this one was kind of hard for me to do since it was hard to come up with reason on why you were mad at them (some of them are really stupid in my opinion...ʕ ゚ ● ゚ʔ) but this update is going to be the last one for the night since it is 12am aka midnight and i’m going back to school after being in isolation for 14 days!\ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ/thank you so much for requesting for a cup of classic black coffee (jujutsu kaisen request!) and please come again soon!
ITADORI YUJI:
Itadori will be the most clueless boy ever and doesn’t even know that you are mad at him in the first place.
It might take a few days or a few hours at best for him to realise that you were mad at him - probably Fushiguro will tell him that you are pissed at the boy.
Once he FINALLY finds out that you are angry at him, he would try to think back on what he could have done to make you angry at him - and boy, does he think long and hard because once again to remind you: he is clueless.
Did he do something stupid again? Did he accidentally eat your food again? Did he forget something? DID HE FORGET AN IMPORTANT DATE?
Yes, when he tries to recall what he did that made you annoyed at him, he does tend to overthink it.
You know what you were mad at him for? He had indeed eaten something of yours by accident. The reason why you were mad at him was because he ate the last of your ramen that you were saving after the mission that you were set was finished.
Now since Itadori thought he was completely screwed, he would full-on plan a whole game/movie night with you.
Sukuna would lowkey mock the dude as Itadori was preparing his room causing our poor boy to worry even more since Sukuna was making him feel more nervous.
This preparation of his will include the game consoles set up, piles on DVDs on the table for you to choose for the both of you to watch and your favourite ramen that he brought from the closest store - that he also still doesn’t know he ate accidentally ate - cooked and set on the table for you guys to munch on.
Once everything is prepared, he would slap Sukuna’s mouth if he is still talking and would make his way to your room.
Now, this can go two different ways:
1. You are too stubborn to give in and refuse to leave the room that he would beg you and lowkey will physically drag you out of your room.
2. You would sigh and agree to follow him to see if he realises what was the issue and see what was going on because there was a lot of ruckus in his room from what you heard.
Once you see his room, you are generously surprised at what he had prepared since you didn’t think he would put this much effort to apologise to you - you generally just wanted a verbal ‘sorry’ but this was too cute to not forgive him.
Once both of you settle down and get into what YOU had chosen to do, he would apologize in a nervous tone since he STILL doesn’t know why you were mad at him.
“Yeah babe, I’m really sorry for what I did, well...I still don’t know what I did but I kinda notice you were mad at me and I didn’t know what to think since I thought I forgot a date that he planned or-”
This boy will ramble and ramble until you stop him by kissing him since you didn’t realise that he was overthinking it.
“Baby, don’t overthink it, I was mad because you ate the last ramen packet that I was saving but this whole thing really was a lot then what I expected, but thank you so much for preparing this whole thing! I love you!”
“Am I forgiven then?” - this boy I-
“Yes yes yes you are, I forgive you Yuji”
FUSHIGURO MEGUMI:
Fushiguro Megumi. Now how do I say this? This pretty boy will be between not realising that you are mad and realising instantly that he had angered you.
When he doesn’t realise that you are mad at him, he would notice the small behaviour changes that you express from a slight frown on your face or now you would give him short answers.
Short answers being: “yeah”, “alright”, “okay”, “nah” ect, with the longest answers being “that’s fine/cool” or “I’m not feeling it”
But! That was only towards him, with the other guys you would give more detailed answers to them, making him surprised since he probably asked the same thing.
Once he realised that you were annoyed, (like Itadori) he would try to wonder what he had done wrong and (unlike Itadori) he would most likely figure out what he had done wrong this time.
The reason why you were mad at him? You were angry at the pretty boy because he was hiding his feelings again.
Even though you knew that Fushiguro wasn’t one to express his emotions freely like the others, you both promised each other that you would go to each other when either one of you was having issues or problems that were bothering you.
And since you knew that Fushiguro held in his emotions, you allowed him time to come to you when he needed - but this time, you knew there was something that was bothering him extremely to the point where he was getting distracted during missions
Distracted to the point where he was nearly hit if you didn’t come to protect him and allow him to snap out of his daze.
Now that the reason was identified, Fushiguro would quickly try to figure out how to now apologise to you.
Since Fushiguro is a good listener, he would most likely buy a small bouquet of your favourite flowers since he remembered you mentioning that random fact from a conversation that you both had around when you and Fushiguro first met, trying to get to know each other.
He doesn’t apologise in front of anyone because this little issue was about you and him and not everyone else.
So when he found you somewhere in the hallways, he would lightly place a hand on your shoulder before shoving the flowers in front of your face - since he didn’t want you to see his flushed face.
Of course, you are really surprised since who wouldn’t be when a bunch of your favourite flowers just randomly appear in your face.
Once you take the flowers from his grasp, he would probably have a hand scratching the back of his neck - why was he nervous now when seconds before he was just fine?
“I’m really sorry…….for not telling you what was going on, I just didn’t want to bother you with my issue and all that,” - this would be said in a low mumble that you nearly couldn’t catch what he said.
“Mimi, telling me what is bothering you isn’t a bother, I want you to be okay, just please when you’re comfortable to come to talk to me, if you need a shoulder to lean on, I’m right here,”
There are times when Fushiguro forgets that you don’t mind him ranting off when he needs to and that you are a shoulder that he can lean on - he just used to keeping everything in until he met you.
“Also, you remember my favourite flowers, thank you so much, Mimi, you are forgiven, I love you,”
Just seeing you smile at him again after so long is enough for him to smile as well, knowing that you have forgiven him.
GOJO SATORU:
Mr Gojo ‘steal your girl’ Satoru.
Now this man will make you mad on a daily but not to the point where you are now.
And Gojo will notice INSTANTLY that you are mad at him because he is so used to making you mad due to his constant teasing.
But this time you weren’t mad at him because he took his teasing over the line. No, no, no, you were mad at him because he was late for your date.
Even though Gojo is known to be very handsome and the ‘perfect’ person to everyone on the outside of the shaman world, his lateness was one of his worst traits about him.
Sometimes you ask yourself if he does this on purpose - but in the back of your mind, you know that he attracts many curses and that he had to fight them - but this time, you knew that he was late because he was just late.
So while you’re waiting for him with a slight scowl on your face, you would constantly check your phone to see if he texts you or just to check the time.
Of course, he would send the usual ‘I’m going to be late’ with a cute emoji at the end - like that was going to make your anger lessen at all.
But when he does text you that he had arrived at the date location, you were ready to explode at him for making you wait - for like how many dates now?
However, once he arrives with his fashionably late safe, he would come prepares - Haha try to get mad at him now~
In his hands, there would probably be a white bag containing the souvenir that he had been wanting to give you after his mission but didn’t have the time to, or a white box containing your favourite cake from your favourite cake shop/cafe/bakery.
Damn it, this guy knows that food always solves every issue~
“Sorry for being late to our date honey~ I wanted to get you your favourite cake that I forgot that there was going to be a long line at this time, hope you can forgive me~”
THEN THIS MAN WILL TILT HIS SUNGLASSES GLASSES TO LET YOU SEE HIS CRYSTAL BLUE EYES - LIKE WHY????
Damn it, now you can’t stay angry at this man.
The fact that he dressed up so nice, got you your favourite cake and let you see his beautiful eyes made you realise that you can no longer be mad at him.
Like the boy put in the effort today…
Taking the cake from his hands, you would probably blush and say “thank you...but I’m still mad at you”
If you say this, be prepared for this man to cup your cheeks and continuously kiss you, trying to affectionately make you forgive him.
Okay okay okay, now he’s just trying to be very very cute.
“Am I forgiven now honey~ I’m sorry that I made you wait, please don’t be mad at me”
“Okay, okay! I forgive you!”
Expect that cheeky smile that he would give you after you forgive him - I mean like, you have to now.
RYOMEN SUKUNA:
Apologise? Would he? Does he even know what ‘sorry’ means? Do you think he would?
If he really cares about you, he would probably push away his pride and there would be a 50/50 chance that he would apologise, so don’t expect it much.
But if you were really mad at him and ignore him for most of the day, he would probably get very very annoyed.
Why weren’t you paying him any attention? Why weren’t you looking at him? Why weren’t you asking for him to shift with Yuji and let him have you all to himself? Why?
The reason? You were mad at him because he exorcised a curse that you knew you had the capability to do yourself.
Does he think you're weak? You were just angry at the thought of Sukuna thinking you were frail since you were an independent woman and he had no right to do your goddamn job.
Once he gets to his boiling point, he would demand Itadoru to switch with him and if his vessel would ignore him for your sake, he would continuously shout at the boy even when he is trying to sleep - poor Itadori……
Once it gets too much for the boy, Itadori would run to you and just randomly grab your shoulders to stop you from what you were doing and quickly explain what was going on.
“Okay, I’m going to switch with Sukuna and you are going to talk to him. He’s been annoying me ever since you stopped talking to him, please shut him up!”
Then before you would even get a single syllable out of your mouth, he would just switch quickly to let the both of you deal with your situation.
“Okay woman, talk to me! What have I done?”
You would probably just stare at with an annoyed look and tut at him before turning your head away like he doesn’t exist.
However, he doesn’t take this action of yours lightly and would probably grab your chin - gently since you are mad at him - and would just start leaving biting your neck.
“Sukuna! Stop it, the marks are going to show!”
“Not until you tell me what I have done wrong woman”
“Sukuna! OKAY! You think I’m weak and I hate the fact that you think I am, I can exorcise curses myself you know!”
Ha? You were mad at him for protecting you? Sukuna thought that it was ridiculous that you were mad at him for that reason - but will just go with the flow because even though you were just a powerful sorcerer to him, you being angry was a slight fear of his (Sukuna fears Oh my….)
“Idiot, I was protecting you”
“I can protect myself dickhead”
“Ha? I apologise, then, there done, do you forgive me?”
Sukuna….what type of apology was that?
If you say no, he would just continue to bite on your neck to make you forgive him since he really wasn’t going to take ‘no’ for an answer.
“Sukuna! Stop it!”
“Not until you forgive me little one,”
Ah, that nickname always gets to you, doesn’t it? - Girl, I don’t blame you….
“FINE FINE FINE! I forgive you, just stop biting my neck”
Looking up at you and looking you at dead in the eyes, he would literally say, “I don’t think so, I was actually having some fun marking your neck, let me continue little one”
I-.....go ahead…….

-fushiguro megumi
oh boy, this guy straight up sleeps at the back of the class
will make you sit in front him so that the teacher won't notice him
[based on true event] came prepared, opens notebook, pen in one hand his head leaning on his other hand looking like he's writing down notes but in reality he's deep asleep
he's just tired, let him be
if you're paired with him, he def cooperates
the goat of groupworks
overall realiable classmate, he's just sleepy
-nobara kugisaki
always comes in class looking pretty!
you forgot your lash curler? she have one. oh you also need mascara? no worries she got you.

overall, would make a great study partner and most likely the source of many students
-panda
that one loud ass kid
always yelling during break time
but he's the fun one, will initiate playing a game if no one was doing anything
if he's close with the teacher, he will not answer the question asked seriously instead coming up with something witty and unrelated
ends up getting a warning, but after class the teacher is not really mad at him
vibes with so many teachers
will always make the class laugh with his wittiness
overall, the class clown
-okkotsu yuta

i just know that this boy always carry a handkerchief with him
he always hold it in his hand fiddling with it
sits in front of the class
always being persuaded by the teacher who organizes pageant for the school but always says no bcs he's shy
fun to tease and tell jokes to
when you talk to him he's always laughing
"i didn't even say anything funny" he just smiles fidgeting with his handkerchief, say sorry and tell him a joke now!
overall, a quiet and average student
-inumaki toge
now this bitch, a menace
definitely your friend
"toge can you get my glasses?" this mf will purposely get it by the lens
you have your hair up in a bun? he never fails to miss a moment smacking the top of it and will have the guts to make buzzing noises while he's at it
doesn't take down notes saying he can just photocopy yours
also copies your homework, every goddamn time
but gotta admit that he effortlessly excels in one subject where you greatly struggle with, so it's kinda a win-win ig
worst type of tutor, he sometimes forget to tell you important details
also, the type to get reviewers from you
overall, i love you toge but i wanna strangle you sometimes
-hakari kinji
you don't see him often
teachers remember him but not in a good way
if ever he's in class, he sits at the back corner
doesn't participate much
if you're grouped with him he just agrees with whatever the group suggests, once in a while giving his own suggestion
his bag you ask? none.
only has a pen
will ask his seatmate for a piece of paper if ever he feels like taking notes
don't really have anything to say about him other than he's barely passing
will probably end up repeating a year due to his tardiness
overall, though he's mia once in a while he will still make a great classmate have group works with since he easily cooperates

Tokyo Tech Training- Chapter 1
"Hello Y/n?" You staring because I'm insanely attractive, or..."
You were instantly pulled back into reality, which unfortunately included the cocky, 6’ 3” bastard standing in front of you. His name was Gojo Satoru, but as he so enthusiastically reminded you, he was your superior and you were to call him Sensei. You felt a slight blush pepper your cheeks as you looked up and stuttered a defensive response, “What? N-no...” You could see the shadow of a smirk form around the corners of his irritating mouth. “All right, then try to pay attention. This is important.”
Gojo was in charge of training you alongside three other first-year Tokyo Tech students, and today happened to be your first day. You had barely gotten a chance to get acquainted with your new classmates, and your first impressions of the three included one pink-topped ball of energy, a spiky-haired lanky boy who had incredible eyelashes, and a quick-witted girl who seemed like a badass. You would get to know them later, you thought to yourself. For now, your first order of business was paying attention to what your Sensei was teaching you.
The classroom was small and hot, even more than usual for an August afternoon. You couldn’t tell if it was a bit warmer because you were alone in that classroom with a tall, (rather handsome man, however much you hated to admit to yourself). He was trying to explain the technicalities of Curses of various grades, drawing out diagrams and charts on a black chalkboard. Your eyes slowly wandered to his right hand, which was tightly gripping the chalk. How was his hand so large...your distracted eyes trailed along his arm to the back of his neck, and it was almost as if he could see you through the back of his head. He snapped around quickly and took two strides toward your desk.
He slapped his arms down on the desk and leaned down to tower over you, his face inches away from yours. Although he wore his blindfold, you could still feel his eyes piercing into yours. “Is this going to be a problem, sweetheart? Can’t pay attention to a single thing I’m teaching you?”
Sweetheart? Who the hell did he think he was? His Grade-A sarcasm was getting on your nerves. Embarrassed at being caught staring at your teacher, you averted your gaze and turned away. He took your chin between his thumb and index finger and turned you back towards him. In a much softer tone, he smiled and said “Come on, I know I’m dashing...but you just need to look past that and listen to what my pretty mouth is saying.” You wanted to slap him for making you feel so little...he let go of you and your face burned where he was gripping you. However, at the mention of his “pretty mouth,” part of you just had to check and see for yourself the truthfulness of this statement.
You sucked in air between your teeth as your eyes flitted over his lips. Pretty mouth, indeed. Did this man wear strawberry-flavored Lip-smackers? Why in the world were they so moisturized? I wonder how soft they are, you quietly thought to yourself...I wonder how good they feel.
You mentally steeled yourself and learned the rest of the lesson attentively, trying your hardest not to let your mind wander. You kept telling yourself that the heat was making you delirious. It was nothing else. When the lesson was finally over, you turned to walk out the door. “Wait, one more thing,” you heard Gojo say. As you twirled back around quickly, you could feel your uniform skirt ride up slightly. You could have sworn that for a split second, his gaze switched to your bare legs. But you would never know, as you had no idea what mysteries were under that blindfold.
From the other side of the classroom, he said, “We always have a beginning-of-term party at my place. It’s always a great time, and you can get to know your classmates and Sensei better. I’ll text you the address later, yeah? It’s tomorrow night at 9 PM. Better be there, sweetheart.” You knew that he was teasing you with that nickname because of your bitter attitude towards him, but a tiny (no, microscopic) part of you enjoyed it. Enjoyed being singled out by the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer. Although you were still somewhat intimidated by him, you couldn’t help but feel your confidence (or perhaps cockiness) arise. “We’ll see.” You said, and saw a slight raise in his eyebrows before you turned and walked out of the classroom.
You were glad it was Saturday, as the training from your first day at Tokyo Tech was overwhelming. You stretched and yawned, making your way out of your dorm room for the morning. Inside the hallway, you saw your fellow first-year sorcerers conversing sleepily with one another. They waved at you, the pink-haired boy named Yuji practically jumping up and down like a golden retriever puppy.
The spiky-haired boy named Megumi rolled his eyes at him and then looked over at you. The four of you chatted for a bit until Nobara suggested that you all go shopping together in downtown Tokyo on their day off. Your heart jumped at the thought; a day in Tokyo with your new friends, shopping for clothes you don’t need and buying far too many sweets? Your enormous sweet tooth was delighted at the thought. So you spent the rainy, cloudy day running from shop to street stall in Tokyo, laughing and taking stupid pictures and accidentally spilling strawberry Mochi on yourself. Damn-it, you thought. Why did the strawberry scent remind you of a certain teacher’s lips? No, stop it, you silently scolded yourself as you wiped the front of your shirt down furiously. Get your mind out of the gutter.
And just like that, it was almost 9 PM, and you were back at Tech getting ready with Nobara in her dorm room. Since it was a stormy night, you chose to wear black sweatpants and a fitted black long-sleeved top. Yes, you were a proprietor of the Bloutfit. And why not wear sweatpants, if it was storming outside and you were going to be drenched, anyways? You and Nobara ran through the rain and into a black Taxi cab, giving the driver the directions to Gojo’s address. After a fifteen minute drive, the driver parked in front of the sexiest high rise building you had ever seen. Did this fool live in a god damn penthouse? Where was he getting this much money? The more you learned about this man, the more curious you got. After paying the driver, you and Nobara dashed into the building but got soaked in the process. You huddled in the elevator, pushing the golden button for the 38th floor. You ascended and soon found yourself knocking on your Sensei’s door.
It was opened, and you made direct eye contact with Gojo’s chest. You took in the black sweatshirt he was wearing, and heard him say, “Hey, buddy. Eyes up here.” Boy, did he know how to make a fool out of you. “Hey,” you said, while looking up to meet his once again covered eyes. This time, however, he was wearing a pair of round sunglasses. You wanted to scream. Why wouldn’t he let anyone see his eyes? Whatever. You didn’t care.
Nobara, somehow perfectly dry now, pushed past him and made herself at home quickly, hopping onto a large plushy couch alongside Megumi and Yuji. How did she manage to get herself dried off? You guessed she was just further along with sorcery than you were. Sitting on the floor around the couch were three second-years, an innocent-looking boy named Toge, a tall, bespectacled girl named Maki, and a...yes, a large Panda. You still stood outdoors facing Gojo. “You’re wet,” he commented offhandedly. You were quick to stammer, “N-no, I’m not.” He leaned back into his doorframe and crossed his arms. “No, look at you, you’re soaked,” he replied, enjoying toying with your seemingly weak temperament. It took you a minute to realize he was talking about your clothes, not what was between your legs. You looked down and noticed your top clinging a little too tightly to your chest and swallowed. He laughed and said, “don’t sweat it, I’ll get you a change of clothes.”
He turned and you followed suit, trailing your wet footsteps through his apartment. You greeted your classmates and entered Gojo’s bedroom hesitantly. You immediately gasped, taking in the breathtaking view from the 38th floor of a Tokyo skyscraper. You were dazzled by the lights and whirring streetcars, and pressed your face and hands against the cool glass. You watched through the blur of raindrops, distracted until a slight touch at the small of your back made you jump. Gojo chuckled as you turned to face him. He handed you a black t-shirt of his, which was definitely five sizes too large on you. He so graciously turned around as you changed, but you soon came to realize you had another issue at hand.
Your bra was completely soaked through. Fuck, you thought. It better not be cold in his house. You put on his shirt, feeling conscious that you weren’t wearing anything underneath it. Luckily, it was rather warm in his room. “You can turn around now,” you said, and he took your wet clothes from you and disappeared into his bathroom. “All right, let’s get this party started!” He said when he came back, pulling you roughly by the arm back into the room with everyone else.
Yuji, ever the party animal, was in charge of the aux for the night. You laughed as he blasted “I wanna see some ass” by Jack Harlow, because of course he would. It felt like the apartment was shaking and your eardrums were going to burst from how loud the music was. You loved dancing at any chance you got, and so did everyone else at the party (except for Megumi, who took a little bit of convincing and hand-pulling from Nobara). Toge and Panda were linking arms and swinging each other around, Maki was busting down on the floor, and Nobara and Megumi were raising ruckus on top of the couch, occasionally grabbing onto a glass chandelier. Gojo was jumping from table to table, clearly having fun showing off.
Everyone had drinks in their hands and was getting absolutely sloshed in the presence of their ever-responsible adult chaperone, Gojo Sensei. Well, everyone but...you. You had a few, but you wanted to remember this night. Still vibing to this song, you jokingly started grinding you ass up against Yuji’s front and you both started laughing. After thirty more minutes of drinking and dancing, everyone crashed on the spot. Everyone except for you and your teacher.
You two were the only people there who were close to sober, thanks to your pacing and his insane alcohol tolerance (it’s the strongest)! “So, do these start-of-term parties usually turn in to sleepovers?” You jested. “Yeah, it’s much safer for them to sleep here if they’re wasted than try getting home on their own. Also, somehow the storm got ten times worse,” he chuckled. You smiled to yourself at how much he cared for his students. Your eyes wandered to his bedroom again, and he took notice immediately. “You liked the view, didn’t you? Want to come see it again?”
He took your arm and guided you once again to his room. He closed the door lightly and flopped onto his bed. You followed after him, inhibitions forgotten because of your two shots of sake. You laid up facing the ceiling, and he turned to face you, propped up on one elbow. You still stared at the ceiling, getting chills from his rudely staring eyes on you. Your chills, to your great misfortune, suddenly multiplied due to his AC suddenly blasting. Gojo’s eyes trailed down to your breasts, which looked delicious underneath his own loose black t-shirt. He swallowed, and he couldn’t deny that a little blood rushed south at the thought of him getting you aroused. “Cold isn’t it,” he pointed out, a long index finger taking a quick poke at one of your perked nipples. You felt your heart rate rise and fall more rapidly, and you turned to face this arrogant idiot who seemed to have a vice-like grip on your mind.
I’ll get him for that, you thought with vengeance, and straddled him while he was still laying down. You snatched off his sunglasses before his fast reflexes could help him, and your jaw dropped. “Oh my god,” you ogled at his crystal-like eyes. He laughed and quipped, “I knew you thought I was hot, sweetheart. You just won’t admit it to me.” You slanted your eyebrows angrily and said “I do not,” like a child. Like a third-grader refusing to admit they had a schoolgirl crush on their next-door-neighbor. “Really?” He raised an eyebrow and swiftly pulled down the band of your sweatpants with one finger. “Then why are you this wet?” He smiled, flashing you all of his stupid pearly whites. “I haven’t even touched you yet, princess.”
You gasped at the cold air hitting your bare skin, and looked down at yourself. There was no denying it, you were damp. “You know,” he said, slowly sitting up, “Jujutsu sorcerers have to be extremely in tune with all of their senses. Particularly touch.” He leaned in and whispered into your ear, “So consider this part of your training.”
Before you could snappily retort, he pulled you off of him and pinned you onto his white sheets. He towered above you, and smiled cunningly as he slipped off your sweatpants and snatched his shirt off from above your head. You laid before him in just a pair of black panties, (you are so committed to the Bloutfit), while he kneeled above you, still completely clothed. You appreciated the fact that he was wearing grey sweatpants, as you would see a growing erection pressed against them. You grew a bit conscious of the fact that you were almost completely exposed, while he was clothed, and you put up your hands to cover your chest. “Don’t even think about it,” Gojo tutted, prying your hands away and pinning them above your head with one of his hands. “Good girl,” he growled hungrily, and used his other hand to lightly grip your throat.
You closed your eyes and crashed your lips against his, immediately tasting sweet, sugary strawberry. His tongue ventured into your mouth and muffled a small moan of yours. He pulled back, and you could see a tiny trail of saliva connecting your lips. He kissed at your neck, marking his territory, and stopped right at your breasts.
He took a lap at one of your tits, swirling his tongue around the nipple. While his right hand kept both your arms pinned, his left fondled and played with your other breast. “Mmm....” he groaned with a smile. “Who knew you would taste so good?” He continued licking and squeezing at your breasts until you were a panting, blushing mess. He laughed at you. “Getting desperate, are we?” “Shut the fuck-,” you began whining at him, until you were shocked by one of his thumbs wrapping around the band of your panties. He pulled the band’s elastic and let it slap against your hip. “Stop being mean,” you whispered, and he let go of your arms.
He slowly lowered himself down between your legs and looked up at you. “No...” he tilted his head at you. “You’re going to beg for me. Won’t be so hard for you, since you’re so eager already,” he pointed out the wetness pooling between your thighs.
Instinctively, you closed your legs, feeling too nude. Again, Gojo sighed. “Aren’t you going to be a good girl and open your legs for me?” At this point, you could only moan quietly as he slowly opened your legs, and slipped off and placed your panties into the pocket of his sweatpants. “Wow, I wasn’t kidding. Your pretty little cunt is so wet for me.” He lowered his head and kissed a wet trail of sloppy kisses and bit up your right thigh, and then your left. He stopped right in front of your heat, and blew onto your clit. Exasperated, you begged, “please, Gojo. I need you right now.” “Where are your manners? Say the magic word.” He joked around.
How could this buffoon still be cracking jokes when he was between your legs, a centimeter away from ravishing your pussy with his tongue? You rolled your eyes and said, “please?” He looked up at you. “I was looking for Sensei, but I guess that’ll have to do.”
Once again not sparing you a chance to angrily reply, he dove in and licked circles around your swollen cunt until your legs were shaking. You gasped a breathy, “Gojo?!” as he slipped one of his long digits into your wetness, pumping in and out at a rapid pace that was making you lose your mind. You felt a buildup in your heat, threatening to release and wash over you. “Gojo, I-I think I’m gonna-,” but he wasn’t about to let that happen. Not yet. No, he was going to train you to cum when he wanted you to. So he pulled his finger out, and both of you moaned quietly (so as not to wake up your napping classmates and his napping students).
He shoved his finger into your mouth, eliciting a soft gag from you. “Lick it clean,” he instructed. You complied, tasting your own essence on his fingertips. He leaned back against his headboard. “Come here,” he said. He didn’t have to tell you twice.
You crawled over and straddled his lap, and you reached for the hem of his shirt. He laughed again at your helpless desperation, and removed it in one go. Your heart rate skyrocketed again as you took in his chiseled abs and broad chest. You were still panting and unsatisfied from Gojo not allowing your earlier release. He, however, was not tired out in the slightest. Of course, his stamina was unmatchable. He pulled the band of his own sweatpants down, and you were taken aback by his size. You knew he was tall, but...”I-I don’t think it’ll fit,” you muttered. He pulled your face down against his and mumbled against your lips, “I’ll make it fit.”
He leaned down and spit against your cunt, making you groan and buck your hips against him. “Was that a moan?” He asked in his usual, smart-ass tone. “Keep it down, will you? I don’t need you waking up the neighbors.” He put a large hand over your mouth, and simultaneously slid up into you. You wanted to cry at the stretch he gave you, but your ego couldn’t let that happen. He watched you get yourself off by moving up and down on his dick, going slowly at first. He wasn’t satisfied yet, so he gripped you around the hips and mercilessly moved you up and down himself. He watched, salivating, as your breasts bounced and you threw your head back. He muffled your moans, but he still smirked at the sound of you saying his name while drunk on pleasure. He wanted you to finish first, because being the last one standing was always a little boost to his overly-inflated ego.
“You can cum now. You’ve been wanting to for a while now, right? My little whore. Cum all over me.” This little round of dirty talk was enough to send you over the edge, and you held back your screams as you spasmed and collapsed onto him. He pulled out and came onto your chest, admiring how he painted it with himself. “You were such a good girl for me,” Gojo grinned. “Now let’s get you cleaned up.” He carried your limp body to the shower and helped clean himself off of you. He handed you another overly large t-shirt of his, because he loved seeing you wear his clothes and smell like him. Once back in the bed, he spread his legs and let you lay on top of him the entire night, while the storm continued to rage outside. Your last thoughts before drifting off into an undisturbed sleep were, “boy, does this moron know how to fuck.”

Yuuji Itadori | Sukuna || Interest || Fic
Everyone always says that they would absolutely enjoy and accept Sukuna taking over Yuji in heated moments. But what if someone didn't? What if they pushed him away, wanting and waiting for Yuji to come back?
Content ║ Yuuji Itadori x Insert x Sukuna. The curse within startled, chin lifting from clawed fingers. The brat had an interesting question. For someone so idiotic, his emotional competency was a fascination. Had Sukuna been too blatant in his emotions? Had he let thoughts escape into the nether that was their shared mind space? He had protected his own realm with his domain… surely Yuuji couldn’t have snuck his way into it without Sukuna noticing. The inner dwellings of his mind had ceased as her crystalline voice graced ears that weren’t entirely his.
Count ║ 1,660 words.
Consider ║ Pole Dance. Part 2-ish of Dancer. Mention of sex work. Mentions of sexual assault (not explicit but as a topic). Fem insert. Third Person (she/her).
Creator ║ Aight let me express real quick that this inspired me to continue part of that dancer fic so if it’s a little confusing please. I’ve also decided that the dancer series will probably be disjointed stories revolving around the same insert. I won’t put in names and shell retain she/her and third person. Hope you don’t mind! Also, this fic in particular doesn’t wholly answer this ask, but spoiler it will come. I was just naturally going with the flow here. I really hope you don’t mind.
She stood off to the side of the pole, hand pressing to her mouth as Yuuji climbed the beast. It was quite impressive. He used pure arm and grip strength. It didn’t take him long to realize that he couldn’t get any leverage when it came to jeans. His hand gripped at the rafter connecting to the pole, humbly showing off as he did a single pull up before completely dropping to a crouch on the ground, “Did I do it?!” the puppy-like excitement teetering in his words was beautifully accompanied by the toothy grin.
“Ah, sure,” She pressed her lips to the side, swallowing back laughter as he pouted, face scrunching into some sort of a scowl, “What?”
“C’mon! What didn’t I do?”
“You really want to know?”
“Yes!”
With false exasperation, she whined, “Fine,” She approached the pole, both hands gripping the steel, “for one thing, you didn’t climb it pretty enough. Sure, you climbed it, but it’s got a different vibe.” Lean arms pulled her up in a seemingly effortless motion, core tightened to maintain her posture, legs together. Forearms braced the leverage on the pole, “Lifting like-whoo” she dropped back to the ground with an exhale, “that, is different from a climb like this,” Her right arm reached up so that the pole made one leg of an ‘x’ with her forearm, “Your fist should be just above your line of sight.” Her bare shin of the left leg made a similar ‘x’ with the pole, “Your opposite leg should be raised so it makes a 90 degree angle with your hips.”
Yuuji watched, enraptured by the instruction. She spoke so clearly and was so well versed in ~the ways of the pole~ that its general sexual context was nearly gone. Then again, she did say that it was more than just ‘erotic’. He watched as her right leg came so that the ankles compressed the pole between them, “Is this why strippers wear underwear?” It was a revelation! The light bulb went off!
She shot him with an incredulous bullet from her position. It was something like a squat, weight distributed between the leverage of her leg while her grip kept her from leaning back, “It’s not underwear, you neandrathal! It’s costume. Although some girls wear lingerie for their shows…” Her expression fell flat, “You know what, that’s not important right now.” Her hand lifted from the pole, waving off the debate topic for another time, “you wanna learn how to climb this or what?”
The pinkette nodded, taking a seat and criss-cross apple-saucing his legs. She continued, telling him the importance of a pointed toe. Much of it was more than he’d ever thought about before. It took a lot of skill and concentration. He even learned that there’s more than one division of pole dance: Exotic (the sexy shit), Flow (the spinny shit), and Strength (self explanatory shit). For competitions, there were levels. So much of it was so far above his head, he’d need to climb to even reach it.
As she continued, there was a languid fluidity to her limbs. Something that he only half took note of amidst the awkward staring during her first performance that he saw. He recalled an odd sense of déjà vu and the bizarre way in which Sukuna had acted. While they didn’t wholly share thoughts, the entanglement of their beings bled through from time to time. The King of Curse’s indifference often led to nothing, but when it came to her, he seemed to be ready for anything. It created an unease in the pit of Yuuji’s stomach.
“Hey…” His voice trailed, a hand coming to clasp the back of his neck, “You know I’m Sukuna’s Vessel, yeah?”
“Uh-huh, what about it?” She pulled her body close to the pole, right arm now by her chest, legs straight. Left arm now crossed the pole. Both legs swapped their previous position, creating an elegant illusion of ribbon unfurling. She continued to climb.
“Have you been around one of his fingers before?”
“Don’t think so, why?” Muscles worked as she placed a hand under the coccyx of her tailbone, thumb pointed down. Her legs straightened horizontally to sit along the pole, as though it were nothing but a lounge chair.
Yuuji scratched his cheek, “I dunno. I get a feeling that he knows you. Or maybe I saw you walking down the street? Sometimes I feel that déjà vu feeling when I’m with you.” He didn’t bring up the awkward bodily response he got that surely wasn’t his own like the melancholic heart ache.
Sukuna was silent, awaiting a response. He knew he could speak for himself, but he felt no need to. This situation was new and he needed to acclimate to it. This vessel was experiencing him second hand. The swirl of memories and emotions this woman brought to the forefront of the now-curse’s contemplations leaked out to the vessel. A pot to hold ashes. Would she be able to feel the connection behind the ceramic?
The woman tipped so that she rest along the pole upside down, hair flowing with the weight of gravity pulling it down. A pink flush came to her cheeks as blood followed the same course, “Honestly, you reminded me of an ex.”
Sukuna’s eyes flickered open. Ex? Was that like the English letter Yuuji had to study? There were so many modern words he was unfamiliar with. He closed his eyes, focusing purely on her words, “The thing is, I didn’t date anyone,” there was a somber lick to the tone, “I saw you and felt… *something*. You know when you watch a movie and you know something bad is going to happen? Like that.”
Yuuji’s head tilted one direction before flipping to another. His expression was contemplative. For someone who seemed so filled with unbridled energy, it caught her off guard whenever he showed this side. It hadn’t been all that long since she joined Jujutsu Technical College, but her blossoming relationship with Yuuji came about as naturally as bees made honey. The kid was about as sweet as it, too.
Her attitude had been bitchy after the first full day. During work, she chat him up – was saccharine sweet. It was her go-to. Maybe I can get a buck out of him, she had thought. When she couldn’t and when they left, she caked herself in the mud that was her bitchy personality. She didn’t particularly enjoy being the way she was, but it was necessary protection. Despite this, Yuuji still dug through the dirt to get at her core.
“Hey, can you do that flagpole thing?”
“Yeah. It’s called a western flag.”
“Show me! Please. You know… if you have time.”
Men always made her cautious. She like the attention of it all, the lustful looks she’d get during a performance, the way men would try and literally buy her time when she play-flirted. She was a top performer both in talent and in business. People requested her, savored slots of solo shows. In her line of work, while she didn’t partake in the more lewd activities herself, it was still assumed that was her position, especially when they paid well.
“Sorry bucko. No private showings.”
“No no! Not like that. I really want to learn how to do that! I wanna see Megumi’s face when I show him that I did it first!”
Her brows scrunched up, lips pressing into a suspicious perch. If the guy were a dog, it didn’t entirely seem like he was barking up her tree that same disgusting way. His genuine interest was so whole heartedly pure.
“Fine.”
“Haha! Yes!”
After a moment of silence, Yuuji rose, placing his calloused hands along either side of her cheeks. His dashing smile riled up squeeze in her chest, gaze averting his. He pressed his forehead to hers, “I don’t want anything bad to happen to you,” His voice was soft, whispered almost, “His interest… I just want to be careful.” While she couldn’t see, she knew that his lips would be pressed into a line, eyes probably trained on a shoe scuff on the hardwood.
“Don’t worry. I have no interest in a murderer.”
Sukuna saw through Yuuji’s cheerfully slit gaze, the gorgeous expression of the woman he once knew. Proud. Independent. She always did throw caution to the wind, even when he would say her life was on the line. Even so, his chest ached. Not with sorrow or desire, but knowing those were the words she had said to him when she was brought to his shrine. Said in the same way, with the same disinterested glint in her eyes.
Bonus:
Yuuji’s lips connected with hers, gently pecking and barely touching. As he pulled back, the remnants of his prior expression melted into a smile, “Need to get down, Mary-Jane. I’m getting dizzy hanging like this.”
He barked a laugh, hand grasping the pole as he bent at a 90 degree so that his back exposed to her. She used her core strength to pull her legs away from the pole, minding her shoulder’s ability to rotate. As hand released their grasp, she landed on his back, legs wrapping around him. Yuuji came to a stand, his new-found partner wrapped at his shoulders and waist, “Does that mean you’re spiderman?”
“I shoot white stuff and get a spicy kiss? Hell yeah it does!”

Office Hours (Nanami Kento x Fem!Reader oneshot)
This oneshot can be viewed on AO3 and Wattpad too!
You woke up at around 6:30 am as the sun's rays peeked through the shallow gaps in the curtains by your window. This created soft rays of light traveling through the room, basking the plain white walls in soft hues of orange and yellow. You patted the bed as you looked for your alarm clock which blared an overly obnoxious sound.
Groaning, you got up, your hair a tangled mess as well as your patterned pajamas. You threw your blanket to the side as you stretched out her limbs. You contemplated on whether to stay in bed or go to work. You didn't really want to go to work today. Just the thought of you sitting down at your boring table for 8 hours doesn't seem that much exciting. You'd rather stay at home and curl up in your chair by the window, looking out to a nice view of the city.
However, you couldn't really risk getting scolded so early in the morning in front of a lot of people. Just the thought of it deeply embarrassed you. Sighing, you got up and lazily fixed your queen-sized bed, throwing pillows on top of another and draping the blanket over the comforter.
You quickly did her morning routine—washing your face and brushing your teeth, then changing into your usual office attire and applying some makeup. Afterwards, you quickly fixed your hair before going to the kitchen to prepare a small breakfast. You scrolled through her phone as you ate, laughing slightly at ridiculous posts of some strangers on the internet.
You liked these kinds of moments; moments where you would usually be just by yourself in the morning, enjoying your breakfast as you looked through her phone, or listening to songs as you made food or cleaned the house. It was mundane for sure, just a normal day-to-day living, but it provided you a sense of comfort, even just for a little bit.
"Oh crap!" You quickly jumped to your feet as you noticed the time. You didn't realize that you were on your phone for far too long. If you don't get out of the house now, you'll miss your train. You hurriedly grabbed your bag and threw it over your shoulder as you wore whatever colored pump you could find. You then dashed through the door, making your way towards the train station which was a 10 minute walk away from home.
"Woah there, careful," Said a man with long hair tied into a bun and bangs perfectly framing his face. His hands were on your arm, preventing you from tripping on the boxes on the floor. He wore deep navy pants with the jacket loosely hanging from his arm. Two buttons of his white dress shirt were opened, making you look elsewhere.
"We don't want anyone tripping over these boxes now, don't we?" He implied, looking at you as if he was waiting for some sort of response. "You alright there, Y/N?"
"My apologies, Mr. Getou!" You said, your eyes wide open and your lips slightly agape. "I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and I—"
Getou chuckled, waving a dismissive hand in front of you. "It's alright, dear." He bent down to pick the stray boxes up before placing them on top of a random table. He then looked at his watch, his eyebrows rising. "You better get to where you're going if you don't want to be scolded. CEO's a handful when he's mad."
Flashing you another smile, Getou began walking away and disappeared into a nearby hallway. Suguru Getou is the operations manager of the company, responsible for hiring new staff members and training them, as well as monitoring personnel documentation, to name a few. He works alongside Satoru Gojo who deals with financial statistics of the company.
"Yuji! Hurry up!" You turned and saw three unfamiliar faces walking in the hallway. Two of them were boys, while one of them was a girl with orange colored hair and a frown on her face. She wore a pastel pink suit with a white dress shirt underneath. They looked young, and perhaps maybe a little bit out of place.
"It's your damn fault we're running late!" She hissed, glaring at the boy with pink hair and lightly hitting him with her bag. The boy stuck his tongue out like a little kid, causing the lady to scoff.
"Me? Blame Megumi! He's the one who stopped at a nearby park just to pet the dogs and won't leave until he called each one of them 'good girls' and 'good boys!'"
"Leave me out of this," the other boy said grumpily, shaking his head as he walked away and left the two.
"Interns! Right here!" Ijichi called, calling the attention of the three. The three rushed towards the man, the girl's coffee almost spilling along the way.
Ah, so that's why they were unfamiliar to you, they're interns. You smiled a bit as you looked at the three playfully bickering while following Ijichi. It reminded you of your friends way back in high school. Suddenly, you wondered how they were doing. You're not much in contact with them these days as everyone is busy with their own lives. Besides, they weren't making much of an effort on trying to contact you anyway.
"Get going, lady. These hallways are not the place to hang around, no?" said Satoru Gojo, who was followed by Shoko Ieri, the team's assistant manager. Shoko was quick to slap the man's bicep, scolding him for being so rude so early in the morning.
"Alright, geez. My bad." Gojo's hands were in his pockets as he walked, his head casually tipping to the side as he looked at the woman before her before paying attention to you. He was wearing his usual black sunglasses. Why he wore it inside the building was something you didn’t know the reason for. "Good Morning, Y/N."
"Good Morning," You greeted back, causing the man to grin and the lady to smile.
"I see you're running late today." There was a teasing tone evident in his voice. He was going to say something more when Shoko tugged him closer, shaking her head and widening her eyes at him.
"Right, well," Gojo stuttered, gently removing Shoko's hand from his bicep. "See ya around, Y/N!" They began walking away, muttering something amongst themselves. You even caught a glimpse of Gojo looking back at you and chuckling which left you confused. What was that about?
Perhaps everyone was running late today. It was quite understandable as it was Monday. You spotted a few people rushing inside the building as you clocked in. You placed your card back to the holder before making your way to the 5th floor, where you usually do her work. You were in the Public Relations Department, mostly coordinating public events for the company, helping in gaining favorable media coverage, and maintaining the company's relationship with investors among others.
As you arrived at her floor, you quickly made your way towards your table and placed your bag on the chair before throwing away the crumbled paper you failed to discard the day before. You greeted your coworkers as you didn't want to seem rude.
The floor was brightly lit because of the huge windows that enabled natural light to pass through the transparent material. The floor was tiled and there were gorgeous wood accents plastered on the wall. Wood wall dividers were also used to separate the work space from the couch—where the employees would usually sit down during breaks to chat or wind down. And instead of cubicles, there were tables, allowing the employees to easily talk to each other when needed.
"Good morning! Here's some morning newspapers, Y/N." The head of the PR Department, Iori Utahime, greeted you with a smile. "Morning assembly meeting starts in a few minutes. We're just waiting for the CEO."
"He's running late too, Ms. Utahime?" You wondered why, but then you remembered that the CEO had a very important business meeting to attend over the weekend in Osaka.
"Seems like everyone is. It's a monday after all." She clapped her hands behind her back, shifting her weight from one foot to another. "I almost missed my train earlier! I had to run out of the house with bread in my mouth while fixing my hair."
You looked at the lady before you. She doesn't look disheveled, infact, she looked presentable as always. Her hair was combed nicely and was in a half-up half-down updo—she even had a little bow tied on her hair which you thought was quite adorable. Her white dress shirt and red pencil skirt was tailored to her body perfectly, leaving no unflattering gaps in the material.
"Good thing I made it in time though," she added as she mindlessly twirled a strand of hair on her hands. "I regret binge watching that drama last night."
You scrunched her face, knowing the feeling of staying up all night and regretting it the following morning. Utahime laughed, finding your reaction cute, before she patted your shoulders before bidding you a short goodbye. She went to the other's tables, greeting them a good morning and asking them about their plans for the day.
As you waited for the meeting to begin, you turned your desktop on and browsed through the emails. You frowned upon seeing some spam mails and quickly discarded them to the bin. You made a mental note to tell the head director that a certain investor wanted to make some changes with some of the deals. After that, you then skimmed through your newspaper, catching up on news that she might have missed over the weekend.
Soon, it was 9 am and the morning assembly meeting started. You stood up straight as their CEO, Kento Nanami, entered the floor alongside his trusty secretary, Yu Haibara, as well as a few other people. All eyes followed him as he walked towards the front of the room. You almost missed it, but the three interns were with them too, following Ijichi like they're lost puppies.
The CEO's face was stern, yet he returned the smiles the other employees gave him. Your breath hitched when you two made eye contact, causing heat to rise to your cheeks. Nanami briefly smiled at you before turning his attention back to the other employees. However, the lingering feeling stayed with you. Oh my god.
It almost felt silly feeling butterflies over a brief eye contact. You were already an adult yet you still act like a lovestruck high school student whenever you meet eyes with your crush. However, you accepted the way you felt around Nanami. He was intelligent, polite, poised, extremely good-looking, and a gentleman.
You couldn't help but to sigh. What was there to not swoon over for? He's literally the real deal.
You noticed that he was more casual with the way he dressed today. Rather than his usual cream-colored suit paired with a blue dress shirt underneath and his partnered tie, he wore a black turtleneck with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, showing his expensive watch on one hand and toned arms. He paired it with a pair of off-white tapered pants. His hair was slicked back, with a few loose strands of hair he had to brush up every now and then. His shoes were perfectly polished too, clanking ever so softly as he took a step.
Perhaps Kento Nanami was one of the reasons why you still chose to attend your job so early in the morning.
"Good morning." His voice was authoritative yet still soft and gentle. You even noticed the soft giggles some female employees let out upon hearing his voice. You chuckled as you shook your head. You couldn't really blame them for being giddy over him. Almost everyone is.
A chorus of hello's and good morning's were heard. Nanamin went through some announcements and important matters to discuss, mainly about increasing customer satisfaction rate and the like. He also talked about the short business trip he went to over the weekend and disclosed some information about future plans for a major project. At the same time, the department heads reported what plans they'll be doing for the rest of the day. Haibara happily took notes on his iPad, trying his hardest not to miss any important information.
"Very well," Nanami spoke, the attention once again turning to him. He acknowledged the effort each department had and thanked them for their hard work. This definitely boosted the morale of the employee seeing the smile and grins on their faces.
Nanami leaned a bit on the table, his arms crossed over his chests. He made eye contact with you one more time before turning his attention to the man beside him. "Ijichi, if you will. Thank you."
Ijichi nodded and walked forward, a kind smile evident on his face. A few coworkers giggled a bit, finding the man's actions kind of adorable.
"Good morning," he greeted. "As you may all know, fall internships have already begun. Here we have three students from The University of Tokyo who will be seeking our guidance for the rest of the year."
He then gestured to the interns to start introducing themselves. The first one to do so was the lady wearing a pastel pink suit. She had a genuine smile on her face rather than the frown she had earlier in the morning. You thought that she was pretty—very fashionable too.
"Good morning! I'm Kugisaki Nobara and I'm 21 years old. Please take good care of me! I humbly seek your guidance!"
"Um." The next up was the boy with pink hair. He was quite charming to say the least; very bubbly and smiley much like the lady. "I'm Yuji Itadori. 20 years old, and I look forward to working with you all! Please go easy on me!"
Finally, the boy with dark hair spoke. He was quite shy and kind of stoic at first glance. "I'm Megumi Fushiguro. I'm 20 years old and I'm looking forward to working with you all too. Please guide us well… and I would like to apologize in advance for all the troubles these two might cause."
The two intern's mouth went agape and a few other employees let out a chuckle. The employees then politely clapped for the three. Even Nanami did too and you couldn't help to notice the small smile forming on his lips—as if he was already growing fond of the interns. This made you smile too. You had always liked having interns around. Just last fall, other students interned in this company as well and you could still vividly remember how rowdy and lively the lot were. Two of them were from UTokyo, while the others were from KyotoU.
After the morning assembly meeting, the employees went back to their desks. You took a quick detour to the pantry to brew yourself some coffee before going back to her table. As you sat down, you folded the newspapers and kept them in your drawer as you were already finished reading them. Then, you went back to work.
The office was fairly quiet during working hours. Everyone was busy typing away on their keyboards to even spare the other employees a glance. It reminded you of libraries from school.
You reached out for your drink and frowned when you noticed that it was already empty. It was finished already? You didn’t even notice that the time was passing by so quickly. You contemplated on whether you should get up and brew some more, but you were already getting comfortable in your chair and didn't want to move an inch.
As if on cue, Gojo tapped your desk, making you turn to his direction. He had a cup of warm drink in his hands and grinned at her. You raised her eyebrow at him, confused with his sudden appearance. Usually he'll be on the third floor, supervising his department, or on the sixth floor, hanging out with other directors.
"A delivery for you, my lady." He put the warm drink down on her table and before you could even ask him why he gave it to you, he was already walking towards the elevator.
Frowning, you looked at the cup. Written on it was your favorite drink and a name that made your cheeks flush red. You covered half of your face, glaring at Gojo who was grinning as he waited for the elevator door to close. Grabbing your post-it from your desk, you covered the name written on your cup. Clicking your tongue, you went back to work and tried to bury the embarrassing feeling brewing inside you.
When lunch time came, you decided to go to a nearby restaurant with a few other employees. You and your coworkers settled on a table near the door by the big windows. As you sat down, your attention was diverted towards the door, where the CEO and his secretary stood. They seemed to be looking for someone as their eyes trailed around the restaurant.
"Nanamin!" Gojo called, not even addressing the man properly. The white-haired man waved his arms around, catching a few people's attention. Getou, Shoko, and Utahime, who were with him, just shook their heads as they ate their food, as if pretending that they didn’t know him.
Nanami was about to approach them until he locked eyes with you once again. Your heart thumped loudly in your chest as you noticed him approaching your table, Haibara following behind him. Your coworkers didn't seem to notice the CEO until he cleared his throat.
"Ah! Mr. Nanami!" The man before you stuttered. Nanami just offered him a kind smile before gesturing him to sit down.
"Is it alright if I ate with you today?" He asked and the others nodded. Well, they didn't really have that much of a choice—who would turn down someone like Nanami?
It was as if the universe was in your favor. Nanami pulled the seat beside you and sat on it, your knees subtly brushing against each other as he fixed his posture. However, he didn't seem to mind as he conversed with your coworkers. Haibara, who sat at the head of the table, sneakily glanced between you and Nanami, biting his lips as he tried to hide his smile.
The others then decided to begin ordering their own meals. However, you still don't know what to get. Maybe Nanami sitting beside you was a little bit distracting, and maybe he kind of knew it based on the small smiles he lets slip past his mouth every now and then.
"Ms. L/N?"
"Y-yes?" You turned to Nanami, heat rising to your cheeks.
You stared into his brown eyes. It reminded you of autumn for some reason. It was kind of fitting for someone like him, you concluded; a bit cold, but still makes you feel comfort and warmth. Maybe one of the reasons why Nanami reminded you of autumn so much is because naturally, the autumn season has a kind of romantic aspect to it. Perhaps it was the scenarios you think of with him before heading to bed, or maybe because you were actually falling deeply for him, but you couldn't help but to think that maybe, Nanami has a romantic side to him too.
You didn't realize that you were staring at him for far too long until you heard his soft chuckle. Looking away, you tried to compose yourself. However, the butterflies in your stomach seem to flutter more and more as they hear the wonderful song that is Nanami's voice.
"Are you good to order? I can line up to the counter for you," he offered.
It was embarrassing honestly, making a total fool of yourself in front of such a respectable man like him. "Um… no, it's fine, Mr. Nanami."
"Is [favorite food] and [favorite drink] alright?" He asked, standing up and grabbing his wallet from his back pocket.
You could only nod as he made his way towards the counter, catching up to Haibara and a few other employees. You were the only one left on the table, which gave you a responsibility to secure it. Not that you mind.
"So!" You nearly jumped when you heard Gojo Satoru beside you. How he managed to sneak up on you from the other side of the restaurant was something you don't know. He shamelessly sat himself on the chair beside you, which was previously occupied by Nanami. "You and Nanami, huh?"
"What?" You stuttered, completely baffled by his statement. The man just leaned back on his chair, causally tipping back a bit. "Pardon me but what are you talking about, Mr. Gojo?"
"Gojo is fine." The man scrunched his nose. "You're making me sound like an old man. I hate it."
You purse your lips, considering his statement. It seems like he didn't really mind dropping the honorifics that much. He leaned back further on his chair, propping his sunglasses on top of his head.
"You know," he began, looking over at Nanami's direction. "Nanami usually never dines with employees. I know you saw me call him over earlier, but he didn't hesitate one bit on walking towards your direction when you made eye contact." He then clicked his tongue, raising an eyebrow at you. "Which makes me conclude that what I wrote on your cup earlier was true. Am I right?"
You honestly didn't know what to say. He had a teasing grin on his face, much wider than the one he had earlier in the morning. He crossed his arms against his chest, silently urging you to spill it out already.
"I believe that seat was taken." Nanami came back with a tray with both your orders in his hands. The others were still by the counter, waiting for their turn.
Gojo whistled before standing up. "My apologies," he uttered, patting Nanami at the shoulder. "Pardon me for intruding on your little date."
You were expecting Nanami to deny his claim, but the blond didn't say anything. Instead, he calmly placed your order in front of you before sitting down. It was evident that he was ignoring Gojo, which caused the white-haired man to chuckle and shake his head. Gojo then gave you a wink before heading back to his table.
"Was he bothering you?" Nanami asked and you shook your head.
"No… not really." Nanami gave you a look, as if he wasn't buying it. "I'm fine really, Mr. Nanami. Thanks for your concern."
You gave him a smile and Nanami subtly returned one back. He was about to say something else when the other employees arrived, preventing him from doing so. Nanami cleared his throat and began eating, occasionally looking at you from time-to-time.
"Finally! I’m going home!" You yawned, stretching a bit on your chair. A few employees have already gone home as they finished their job a bit early. Breezily, you gathered all your valuables and placed them in your bag. Then, you decluttered your table before grabbing your coat and putting it on.
It was a 10 minute walk from the company to the nearest train station. The train was definitely cramped since it was getting kind of late. Students were seated on the chair, other employees were busy on their phones or reading a newspaper, and others were dozing off.
You sighed, wanting to get home as early as you could so you could jump into a nice warm bath and maybe even make yourself a nice dinner and watch a good show. It was a bit chilly at night too, so you'll sure be snuggling up to your bed, with multiple blankets laid on top of you.
Even though all of these things sound amazing, there is something else that you're looking forward to. You covered your mouth as you tried to hide a smile—you didn't want to get weird looks from other people, thinking you're out of your mind or something.
You unlocked the door of your apartment and made your way inside. You left your bag and shoes by the door as you took your coat off and hung it on the coat rack. You wore your indoor slippers before walking to the bathroom to take your makeup off.
As you did so, you grabbed your phone and played some music. You then turned the bath faucet on and waited for it to be the right temperature before stripping off and lowered yourself in the tub. You then made sure to tie your hair up, preventing it from getting wet.
The warm water soothed your sore muscles. You instantly felt at ease. This is exactly what you needed—a nice relaxing night after a long hard day at work. Humming to yourself, you sank further into the tub, letting the water reach up to your shoulders. You giggled as you played with the bubbles, making random shapes and drawing silly little soap faces on your legs.
Deep in your own moment, you didn't hear the opening of the main door nor the shoes being placed inside the shoe cabinet right beside yours. You didn't hear the leather bag being placed on top of the kitchen table nor the knock on the bathroom door. However, you did hear the door knob turning and the footsteps of the man walking towards you.
"Good evening, darling." Your husband, Kento Nanami, greeted you. He seated on the edge of the tub, looking at you with such adoration in his eyes. He looked tired, but still handsome. He tucked a hair behind your ear and you instantly leaned into his touch. He chuckled, holding your cheek, his thumb rubbing soft circles on your skin.
"Welcome home, Kento." You smiled, making his heart swoon. Despite being with him for the most of the day, you missed him.
Nanami placed a kiss on the crown of your head, making you sigh happily and giggle. "Would it be alright if I joined you?"
You nodded. Nanami had always been a man of consent. He always asks before approaching you. He had also always put you first before himself. He had always pampered you, cared for you, and made sure that you'll feel the love that you deserve. He was a very sweet guy, really—charming, dreamy . Perhaps you were one lucky girl to have someone like him in your life.
"I noticed you wore our wedding ring to work today," he said as he took his shirt off. He then began unbuckling his belt, making you look away. You had already seen his body multiple times, but it still makes your cheeks heat up. Nanami chuckled as he saw your reaction. You were adorable.
He placed a hand on your back as he guided you to move forward, making some room for him. He leaned back as you settled in between his legs, letting you rest your back on his chest. He draped his hands around you, softly caging you in his arms as he leaned his cheek on the top of your head.
"Well I liked the look of it on my fingers," you answered. "I noticed you wore it too… the other day."
Nanami hummed, placing a gentle kiss on your shoulder. It's not like you weren't proud of being married. Rather than that, it was merely just because Nanami wanted to see how long it would take for his employees to notice that he was, in fact, already someone else’s spouse. He had been subtly hinting it to others too—small bouquet of flowers on your table during special occasions (birthdays and anniversaries), simple random gifts at any time of the day, occasionally matching outfits with each other, and random lovesick post-it notes placed on your desktop monitor.
You couldn't deny it but you were definitely hopeful to see the priceless reactions of the employees once they did find out. This little game than Nanami created made the office hours more exciting—for the two of you anyway.
"I think Gojo already knows," you said, intertwining your hands together. "He gave me coffee earlier with the writing: 'nanamin's wife'"
"Perhaps it accidentally slipped from my mouth when we were on a business trip over the weekend." Nanami turned you around so you were facing him, letting you rest on his chest. He let his hand rest on your lower back. "Getou knows too. I bet Gojo told him. Were they bothering you too much? I saw Gojo pestering you earlier during lunch and you looked kind of uncomfortable."
"Not uncomfortable, just surprised," you answered. "I just didn't know how to act. We never talked about how to react when they found out."
Nanami chuckled. He held your chin and placed a soft tender kiss on your lips. The action made you shiver, making him smile through the kiss. Even just for a short while, you felt breathless.
"Just let things happen," Nanami murmured as he rested his head on the crook of your neck. He placed kisses on your neck and shoulder too, making you giggle due to the tickling sensation.
"You're being awfully clingy today, Kento." You brushed some of his hair away from his face, looking at his perfectly chiseled features. "You kept glancing at me at work and smiling at me, then you ate lunch with me, and now you're being so affectionate… not that I mind it though."
"I missed you, darling. That’s all." He placed another kiss on the corner of your lips. "I was in Osaka over the weekend, naturally, I would want to be around my sweet girl."
You laughed and nodded, feeling the heat rush to your cheeks once again. Nanami wasn't usually a touchy and a physically affectionate person, especially outside the house. He wasn’t a fan of public displays of affection, but he does make up for it whenever you two are alone.
Something you also noticed about him even from the first time you started dating, was that he was very subtle in the way he loved. He wasn't extravagant nor boastful with gifts. He was sure to keep it simple. Special occasions were an exception though.
You didn't mind it that much. You weren't a fan of lavish types of love and gift giving anyway—it's kind of overwhelming. The love that Nanami gives you was enough—not too less, not too much, it was the perfect balance in between.
Both of you stayed in the tub for a while, just enjoying the moment as you two held each other. It was peaceful, with occasional innocent words of affection exchanged between the two of you. You were glad that office hours were over, enabling you to enjoy your time alone with your husband.
After a few moments, Nanami ushered you to stand as he rinsed the bubbles on your body with the shower head. You giggled as the water accidentally sprayed on his face, causing him to squint and lightly shake his head—like a dog. You grabbed a towel from the rack and gently patted his face. Nanami even sneaked a small kiss on your wrist, causing you to squeal and bashfully smack him on his chest.
"All these years we spent together and you're still shy whenever I shower you with affection." Nanami tugged you closer to him as he draped a robe over your body. You both wore matching classic white ones, small initials of your name imprinted in his.
"I don't know why I just can't get used to the feeling!" You said, huffing.
"That's good. I like seeing your reactions." Nanami smiled, brushing your hair with his hands. There were some tangles in it, but he didn't mind. He liked brushing them away with his fingers nonetheless.
Nanami just stared at you, his heart thumping happily in his chest, butterflies fluttering in his stomach. He wondered what his life would be like if you weren't around. Shaking his head, he didn't want to think of it. You were there, in front of him, in his arms. It was enough. You were enough. Nanami couldn't bear living his life without having you around anyway. Perhaps you might have just bewitched his heart with your charms. But he was so in love with you that he didn't mind.
"You're as pretty as a flower, my sweet." He tugged you even closer to him, wrapping his arms around your frame and resting his head on top of yours. He looked at your reflection in the mirror. Your kind smile, your flushed cheeks—To Nanami, you were perfect.
"Kento?" He hummed, still looking at your face through the reflection. "Would you watch [favorite movie] with me?"
He chuckled, patting your head. How could he say no to you? "Of course, darling. Office hours are already over, right?"
