Today's illustration shows a recreation of the city of Segovia in the 15th century. Here you can see some of the main monuments of the city, as well as the aesthetics of the buildings and landscape of the time.

All the illustrations were created using the traditional oil painting technique in digital format by @Mentiradeloro

👉 This work was created for the commemoration of the 550th anniversary of the Proclamation of Queen Isabella the Catholic. The illustrations, which showed images of Isabella's life, were projected in a video mapping show on ​​the east facade of the Alcázar of Segovia on Friday, October 4, 2024. Stillness before the bells

Beautiful façade and bells Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Dubrovnik. This of 17h Century stone church is nestled in the heart of the city quarter which bears the church’s name. It is early Baroque Period and was built over the ruins of the early medieval church of St John.

Avec toutes les cartes que j'ai faite, je n'avais jamais fait la carte d'une cité médiévale. C'était une ville imaginée pour un JDR, du coup le plus long a était de dessiner les maisons. Je suis assez déçu vu que toutes les bâtisses doivent conter une histoire mais j'ai pas eu le courage de m'attarder sur ça. “Happy Birthday in Estonia”

Tout juste réveillé après ma première nuit en Estonie, je pars explorer la vieille ville de Tallinn, centre historique et culturelle, toujours plus surprenant à chaque coins de rue.

Ces bâtiments médiévaux nous font rentrer dans un tout nouvel univers, dans un ancien monde du XIIIe siècle. Classé au patrimoine de l’UNESCO depuis 1997, et considérer comme la cité médiévale la mieux préservée de l’Europe du nord, pouvoir se balader dans ces nombreuses rues pavés est comme la découverte d’une nouvelle vie, plus lente, plus détendu et avec une atmosphère très particulière.

Puis juste à la bordure, quelques rues plus loin, des bâtiments de l’ancien URSS, des églises orthodoxes, un ancien centre du KGB, me font découvrir un autre côté de cette ville. Étonnamment le mélange de ces deux époques, de ces deux mondes, se fondent parfaitement pour créer une ville riche et diversifiée. Après quelques heures dans cette vieille ville, j’en oublie les différentes influences tellement l’architecture de tous ces bâtiments s’associe parfaitement.
