So, some things that I didn’t understand in the 1St book are making sense now. Finding out that London was one of them made sense. I loved how we watched Kinght’s love for London grow even when he kept trying to deny it. Even when he altered her memory. He was obviously hurting thinking that it was his only way to protect her.

However, there are questions that were left unanswered. Like, where was Temperance all that time? What happened to her and why did everyone think she was dead? Why did she betray her brothers?Did her mother know where she was all that time?

These questions make me wonder if there will be another book? There is a lot of unfinished leads that they could used to write with.

In the end, it turned out to be a great story! We got a better picture of Rathe and the people who live there. A peek at their politics, and the ending of its ministry, and the coronation of a new Royal couple.

I enjoyed this book very much!

[Book Review] Reign of Brayshaw

Brayshaw High #3 by Meagan Brandy

yes I still like this story, but not as much as the first book. my review for this book is more or less the same as the first & second books, I still and will always really like the bond between Raven and the Brayshaw brothers Maddoc, Captain and Royce.

in Reign of Brayshaw all the secrets are revealed, how one event is related to another event. honestly the problem here is already quite complicated and seems messy, but somehow I hope it can be made more than that. how at the beginning it seems like the problem is much bigger not just in their town—Brayshaw vs Graven, I thought there was a greater power outside their town that would be a problem later, but it turned out to be just a problem in their town. I just feel like this story could be made much more cool-badass-and such.

but overall I like this series, I don't regret starting and finishing Raven's story with Maddoc in Brayshaw High series. Raven, Maddoc, Captain and Royce will always be in my heart. The differences and uniqueness of their characters will always be a story engraved in my heart. Even though I have no intention of finishing this series by reading the fourth and fifth books (Captain and Royce books), I still highly recommend this book, it's a must read!

I am so happy because here Raven is pregnant with Maddoc's child, they are truly each other's and waiting for the arrival of their little Brayshaw + Graven prince!

A Dark fantasy experience!

This book had a little bit of a slow start but picked up super fast and before I knew it I could not put this book down.

It starts out in a college setting with London, a strong FMC, who is very snarky, energetic and a total bad a$&, trying to ditch her ex, while he keeps clinging on. And Knight, the guy who is so arrogant, self righteous, and has a huge chip on his shoulder. But, when these two meet up, the heat starts to rise.

The supernatural aspect of the story and the character background was really interesting. There are several different species, fae, warewolves, dragons, mages, and some world building. Knight along with his brothers cross between worlds frequently. There is tradition and lore as part of the family history that becomes a central part of the story.

This book is high on spice, and cussing. Not that cussing bothers me all that much but it is excessive.

My Review Talk about ANGST! This one had it off the charts. Payton’s story was heartbreaking. She is so young. Mason needed to feel needed. He couldn’t just settle. He felt his connection to Deaton & Payton from the very beginning. I loved baby Deaton. He played a role in bringing them together. I loved this one.

I just finished reading the book say you swear by Meagan brandy and omg I am head over heels for Noah Riley he is the goddamn standard then idk what happened but suddenly near the end of the book I realised that the song Forever and Always by Parachutes was made for them like the endings are pretty different but still, I feel like this song was made for them 🛑SPOILER AHEAD🛑 plus I think the memory loss bit wasn't needed I did think for a moment that she might end with chase and I have never felt more hollow in my entire life ugh I wish I could find a guy like Noah riley I would give anything to be loved by him like he loves Arianna ughh I already miss them I don't think I can ever forget their story it's left a huge imprint and somehow made me more committed towards my goals il sounds stupid but ig it just hit home for me
