32 Years after the release of Uttar Ramayan, here's what Luv and Kush are doing now

Ramanand Sagar’s popular TV serial ‘Ramayan‘ featuring Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia is being re-telecast on Television on DD National amid this lockdown period due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The show became the world’s most-watched show on April 16 with 7.7 crore viewers, as per data shared by Doordarshan (DD).

After the re-telecast got over some time back, ‘Uttar Ramayan’ began and it has also gained massive popularity.

But you ever wondered what the little boys who played the role of Luv and Kush in Uttar Ramayan are doing right now? Well, Both of them are quite successful in their career.

Swwapnil Joshi played Kush 

Swwapnil played the role of Kush, Ram and Sita’s elder son and then went on to star in Ramanand Sagar’s another epic show ‘Shri Krishna’, where he essayed the young Krishna’s role. Swapnil went on to star in several TV shows, Bollywood and Marathi theatre and cinema. He was seen in 2019 Marathi release Mogra Phulaalaa and hosted No. 1 Yaari – a web series and telly chat show. He also stars in 2020 MX Player web show ‘Samantar’.

Mayuresh essayed the role of Luv in the mythological show. Currently, he has settled in the US. He is quite successful as a businessman and is reportedly the CEO of a company called Commission Junction Affiliate. He also authored a book titled Spite and Development.

Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Ramayan’ is one of the most popular television shows of the 80s. It aired on Doordarshan and it featured Arun Govil as Ram and Deepika Chikhalia as Sita, Arvind Trivedi as Raavan and Dara Singh as Hanuman. It originally aired from 25 January 1987 to 31 July 1988.

नई दिल्ली। लॉकडाउन के बीच दूरदर्शन ( Doordarshan ) पर शुरू हुई ‘रामायण’ का दूसरा भाग उत्तर रामायण ( Uttar Ramayana ) का भी प्रसारण किया जा रहा है। 1 मई के एपिसोड में शो में रामपुत्र लव और कुश ( Lord Ram’s Son Luv And Khush ) द्वारा अयोध्या के अश्वमेध घोड़े का हरण कर सेना को पराजित करने का दृश्य दिखाया गया। लाख कोशिशों के बाद भी कोई भी रामपुत्रों से उस घोड़े को रिहा नहीं करवा पाते हैं। ये देख खुद राम लव-कुश से मिलने आते हैं और लव-कुश अपनी बनाई रणनीति में सफल हो जाते हैं। संवाद करते हुए जब राम उनसे पूछते हैं कि उन्होंने ऐसा क्यों किया? तो जवाब में दोनों बालक मां सीता ( Sita ) के साथ हुए अन्याय के बारें में प्रश्न पूछते हैं। जिसके जबाव में भगवान राम राजधर्म का पालन करने की बात करते हैं।

कुटिया में वापस आने के बाद जब लव-कुश माता सीता ( Luv-Khush Mother Sita ) को इस पूरी घटना के बारें में बतातें हैं तो वो चिंतित होकर उन्हें उनेक पिता का भेद बता देती हैं। आयोध्या के राजा राम ही उनके पिता हैं, ये सुन दोनों बालक हैरान और परेशान हो जाते हैं। अगले ही दिन दोनों पुत्र भगवान राम की आज्ञा से सभा में बैठे सभी लो��ों के सामने वाल्मीकि द्वारा रचित रामकथा को सुनाते हैं। धारावाहिक के इस दृश्य ने करोंड़ो लोगों का दिल जीत लिया। शो में जब भगवान राम का मिलन अपने बच्चों से होता है। उस दृश्य को देख टीवी के सामने बैठे दर्शक भावुक होते दिखाई दिए। वहीं लव-कुश द्वारा सीता संग हुए अन्याय पर प्रश्न करते हुए इस दृश्य ने दर्शकों के मन में कई भावों को जन्म दिया। शो में लव की भूमिका मयूरेश क्षत्रमादे ( Mayuresh Kshetramade ) और कुश का किरदार स्वप्निल जोशी ( Swapnil Joshi ) ने निभाया था। दोनों ही बच्चों के अभिनय ने दर्शकों को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया।

शो को देखने के बाद अब यूजर्स कमेंट कर अपनी प्रतिक्रियाएं जाहिर कर रहे हैं। एक यूजर ने कमेंट करते हुए लिखा- जब मैं इस एपिसोड को देख रहा तो मेरे रोंगटे खड़े हो गए थे। वहीं एक दूसरे यूजर ने लिखा-लव-कुश द्वारा रामायण में गाए गए गाने ने दिल को छू लिया है। बता दें सालों बाद फिर से शुरू हुई रामानंद सागर ( Director Ramanand Sagar ) की रामायण ने प्रशंसकों को अपना दीवाना बना दिया। शो की टीआरपी ने सारे रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए हैं। इस धारावाहिक ने 16 अप्रैल के दिन 7.7 करोड़ दर्शकों द्वारा एपिसोड को देखने का रिकॉर्ड बनाया है।
