Thinking about a Drawtectives OC named Ed Erring who's like the Larry Butz of Drawtectives. Constantly way too personally involved with the crime, bumbling, compulsive liar, guy failure type with a heart full of romance and a dream of being an artist. He didn't do it but he sure was there and yet he never has any helpful information.

anyone interested in talking about the iconic 2000's middle-grade-bordering-on-ya book series gallagher girls??
#okay incoming rant about this series#i read the first book when i was 10 or 11 and i was absolutely obssessed with it. i read it so many times i had the entire story memorized#the issue was that i could not find the rest of the series anywhere. it was either sold out or out of stock#and then i found out that only the first 3 books had been translated into my first language so at that point i kinda gave up on them#anyway#flashforward to a couple of weeks ago#i was re organizing my bookshelf and on the back i found LYKY (is this how y'all are abreviating it??)#and remembred how much i loved it#and since i'm now fluent in english and was stuck at home recovering from a surgery i decided to download the entire series and read it#to find out what the fuck happened afterwards#long story short i read all six books in 4 or 5 days#and i haven't stopped thinking about them since#it's actually so funny how little information we have in the first book#i went all of these years thinking it was mostly a silly series about a boarding school for spies when actually SO MUCH happens afterwards#i can't believe i went all of these years unaware of zach goode's existence#truly character of all time#but also i can't stop thinking about how interesting it would have been if zach had come to hate the circle and his mom during the series#rather than before#make it a true enemies to lovers#and have us witness that portion of his character developement in real time instead of being told about it#like him slowly realizing through cammie and his time at gallagher that maybe what they were doing is wrong#i think it would have been very interesting to read#although let's be real it took me until halfway through book four to trust him and he was fully one of the good guys so..#but yeah i have a lot more to say but these tags are long enough#gallagher girls#okay i just want to add another funny anecdote about my experience with this series#my copy of LYKY has an age warning in the back recomending that readers should be above 13 yo to read it#and i distinctly remember finishing it and thinking the warning was kind of dumb bcs besides a few mentions of death and other heavier topi#nothing really happened#and now i realize it was a warning for the rest of the series not just the first book because jesus fucking chirst everything after

You know how there's a whole thing about how DC superheroes die and get brought back a lot? Well, for DPxDC, how about this?
Every time a Justice League member gets resurrected, their ghost remains in the Ghost Zone.
So you'll have a member of the Justice League bite the bullet for whatever reason, they'll form as a ghost in the Ghost Zone. They'll make themselves comfortable, maybe they'll even becoming defenders of peaceful ghosts who have no experience fighting or no desire to fight. Maybe they'll find dead family members and re-establish their bonds. Maybe they'll find other dead members of the Justice League and make and undead branch of the Justice League. Maybe they'll meet Danny and either help teach him how to be a hero (if he's still young) or become a hero group supported by him (if he becomes the king).
And then, for whatever reason, someone found the magical amulet that can revive a person, they somehow developed 1-Ups for a limited time, the revival machine finally got a tune up, the hero gets revived. But the ghost doesn't leave the Ghost Zone. Because of this, the revived hero doesn't have any memories of their time in the afterlife. The ghost probably doesn't even notice something changed and that their old body is up and running again.
This all ends up coming to a head when the GIW decide to push the manhunt for Danny Phantom and all other ghosts, lying to the Justice League in order to convince them to help. They eventually decide to hunt down Danny and corner him, ready to capture him...
… And suddenly he's saved by a bunch of ghosts that look identical to them.
#dp x dc#dpxdc#dc x dp#danny phantom#dp x dc prompt#justice league#If someone died multiple times either the ghost gains their current memories or another ghost is formed#I also imagine that if a ghost possessed their living counterpart they would essentially fuse together#Either they're fully alive and just regain their memories or they become half ghosts#I wonder if this makes the revived heroes clones of the original ones that died?#Lol if this is an AU where Superman hates Connor for being a clone and everyone comes to that conclusion that'd be so ironic#Hating the clone when you are a technically a clone yourself#If the Justice League is dumb you can make this like that Tumblr post where a zombie and ghost come from the same body#Only the ghosts just find their living bodies really dumb instead of being actually brainless#“Why are you hunting this child?” “What has he ever done?” “For the love of god please look into your claims!"#Maybe being revived and essentially having your soul be a copy has that effect#Villains probably also get the same treatment but their souls are treated with a little more scrutiny#If the Joker has ever had this happen to him his ghost was either imprisoned or made deader than dead for his crimes#Other villains might just retire especially if their crimes weren't severe

I hate whatever the hell is going on in batman 148. all of the characters have lost their CHARACTER. they're all just bruce's yes-men now. "oh its okay that you psychologically tortured me :) we're family :) just atone and move on :)" jason todd would NOT say that. he would strap a bomb to bruce's vehicle and tell him to run. jason volunteering to let himself be killed and resurrected with lazarus fluid?? with just one throwaway quip about "I've got practice dying >:)" ain't no way that's my boy. what have they done to him. and bruce just accepting it? I hate all of the batfam characterization in comics currently

(yes those have to be what, photographs or portraits teehee)
Yakumo: loses his mind thinking that someone could have seen him hold the picture, drops it on the ground as if burnt, quickly snatches it back... (It stays in his panties drawer, (un)safely hidden because he can't make himself destroy it
Olivine: takes it quickly and hides it, looks at it in detail in his room after sermon, does a few *offerings*, jerks off to the memory every now and again (destroys the thing)
Garu: woofs! And goes show it to Eiden
Blade: it takes him a millisecond to determine it's not Darling on the portrait, he sends it in the trash
Kuya: sneers and burns it with his magic
Quincy: leaves it in his mailbox. Does he have one? Idk idk
Edmond: is very much scandalised, destroys the shtick immediately!!!!!🔥🔥🔥 Then thinks about it during lonely nights on patrol (would it be good enough? Too small? Too thin?)😅
Aster: sends out Morvay to find the owner and PUNISH HIM, no one dares messing with the great vampire tycoon!!!!!!
Morvay: his alone time is interrupted by a mad Aster who makes him do the unimaginable and actually go find that dick he's just gotten in the mail?! How come???? (The dick owner is going to come more times than is healthy ☺️ Morvay will make sure of that)
Rei: while he is trying to decide whether the person who sent him the tasteless thing is good enough to use as experiment material, the dick owner gets ambushed by Morvay AND TOTALLY BECOMES WORTH EXPERIMENTING ON yay
Dante: seethes (it's been days, the portrait is long burnt to dust and ashes)

quick like 3 hour thing to sate my desire to see Narinder But As A Bishop. i tried to emulate the game style as much as possible, and i used shamura and heket as the primary references for the robe design
#shakes him like a squeaky toy. fucked up cat !!!#art#cult of the lamb#narinder cotl#so interesting thing i noticed while looking at the other bishops#so heket is the only one out of her shamura and kallamar that has the horizontal line through the red pupil#but LESHY. while he has his eye covered in this form of his . if you look at his eldritch form with the blindfold off. he also has the#horizontal thing in his pupil then#i thought maybe its the eldritch forms only then but no. even shamura and kallamar's eldritch forms dont have it#so it is strictly a leshy and heket thing#dont know what it means but whatever. thought it'd be neat to include for narinder as well. <3#WAIT SORRY almost forgot to add what was the actual deciding factor to that rather than just whatever:#narinder's eldritch form does in fact have the horizontal lines in his pupils as well#so that was what made me say whatever to also adding it to his non eldritch bishop form here. <3#anyway literally boring ass stock pose against a white bg but i just wanted to focus on the design + copying the game style as much as#possible which im actually really happy with. obv i cant do 1:1 but i think i got pretty close. so. :3

I found a bunch of facial expressions on twitter and am trying to use them to practice drawing Sukuna but I can’t tell if I love or hate them askaksmsm
