Liz: Yeah. I mean, we are.

Max: Good.

Liz: Max, people do a lot of dumb things when they're drunk. Anyway, I understand.

— Max is drunker right now then he was in the other moment. Metaphorically, of course! But he's severely under the influence of something… And so is Liz! 🔥

Max: Just friends?

— You know the answer to that question. Why are you stalling, Max? 🤣

— It's good to see Max coming around from his cold feet status he had ever since "The Pilot". My guess (my head-cannon, really) is that he didn't forget his moment of honesty in "Blind Date", and he can't really look away or pretend that night didn't happen, or that it didn't get to him that Liz always wanted to be in a relationship with him. It's really good to know they're finally on the same page! 👏 💞

— The eye sex is killing me! 🔥 💞 #sizzling

— Max is so 'drunk', he no longer cares where he is. He got the message loud and clear, and he's finally ready to act on it. And I'm perfectly fine with that! 👏 #Dreamers

Last Movie: I can't really remember what the last movie was that I actually finished. 🤔 The last one I watched but didn't finish is The Switch, a 1991 Ellen Barkin comedy.

Currently working on: I'm knee deep in creating a fanfic telling the story of my OC and my OTP from the RDR 2 universe. I'm also learning the basics of sketching/drawing as a artistic novice.

— Alex wanting to be a "human subject available for experimentation" is hilarious and sad, at the same time… There are hardly more ways than Alex can express his feelings for Isabel. The fact that she keeps turning him down (when she clearly has feelings for him) is truly depressing. I like their chemistry, but this is so frustrating!

Liz: It's just beautiful… The universe is beautiful! Science Teacher: Yes… lovely. Ah. I see your partner in crime.

— Let me see if I get this straight, these kids misbehave and so the teacher is gonna leave them all alone in the classroom? That seems romantically counterproductive... 🤣

Science Teacher: You are an excellent student, Ms. Parker. I'd hate to see anything get between you and the… uh… beauty of the universe.

— At this time in the story, Liz obviously multitasks, so I don't see the problem. Everyone is overreacting over this thing. It's as if these adults have never been in love…

— They're like a magnet… burning my screen! 🔥🔥🔥

Liz: Max, this afternoon… I think I saw the crash.

— Her goofy grin is not related to the severity of her words. It's just that love makes people grin like idiots. #Endearing

— Nancy's attempt to have "the talk" with her daughter is hilarious! She feels so embarrassed by it all. That deep breath is like she’s getting ready for a very dangerous endeavor. 🤯

Nancy: Don't ever have sex, don't ever leave this house, don't ever stop being my baby girl.

— Nancy may very well speak to every parent ever, but Liz surely doesn't speak for all 16-year-olds.

— Mom's worried about 'sexual intimacy'. Unbeknownst to her, the level of intimacy that Liz and Max share (in this episode alone) has made sexual intimacy pretty much obsolete. ❤️‍🔥 #RelationshipGoals

She is alone. 

She moves around, jumping from the place to place, always looking over her shoulder, every step shrouded by fear.

It radiates off of Nasedo, the man who presents himself as her father. They both know different. He is only her apathetic protector, a cold distant alien who’s care for Tess extends no farther than the purpose for her existence. She is the same to him as an ancient vase would be to a collector. 

When they reach Roswell, when they reach her family, everything is supposed to change.

She won’t be alone anymore. But that’s not what happens.

They embrace their humanity, lowering themselves to the level of these primitive, short-lived beings that Tess knew were only a means to an end. A sea in which to hide themselves. 

She remembers her first life. They don’t, and have little desire to. 

They spend their love and devotion on humans instead of on each other, instead of the way it’s supposed to be.

She remembers Max as her husband. He does not remember her as his wife.

She wants Max as her lover. His hands are forever entwined in Liz’s. 

It hurts, to come here and realize everything is far from the way it should be. But it’s alright. Nasedo has trained her well, and no matter how alluring human life may be, she can never forget her objective, her mission. If she plays her cards right, everything will fall into place. 

Everything will be exactly the way it was destined to be.
