— The pod squad talking about the possibilities that the visions are accurate representations of reality is really interesting. Of course, Michael will be all over it, since he's the one who wants to find a home the most. Isabel, content in her human reality, dismisses the idea completely. Max is apprehensive, but curious.

— Michael's little spat with Maria goes to the heart of the usefulness of the flashes. The fact that the flashes are involuntary and spontaneous reveals the vulnerability one needs to have them. Obviously, that's very difficult for them both.

Liz: Why would you fake it? Maria: Haven't you ever heard of the male ego?

— That's not the reason why you faked it, Maria. Don't lie to your best friend! 😠

Liz: What are you doing here? Max: I just… I wanted to see you.

— Yeah, you did, but you didn't. These conversations are embarrassing no matter how in love one is. 😂

Max: Well, just like you'e seen things… I've seen things. And… one of those… things…

— I really love Max's subtlety here. It's clear that he came to the girls' locker room expecting no one to be there, so he could investigate without embarrassing Liz, but now that he's here, he thinks he might as well be honest about it. But he's still trying not to embarrass her.

Max: I had to know if… if… what I saw was really from you or if it was just my imagination, which… it definitely… definitely could've been.

— Honesty with tact isn't easy. It's adorable watching Max stutter through his explanation and seeing is excitement, while Liz gets more embarrassed by the whole thing.

— It's so embarrassing in fact, that Liz cannot even look him in the eye anymore, and she prepares to run away in shame… 🤣

Max: I didn't just see what you saw. I felt… what you felt… when you saw me. And I never thought anyone could really… ever feel that way about me. Liz: Really?

— She's as surprised as he is grateful about the notion that he could be loved with that degree of intensity. This is a transformative revelation for both of them. 💞

Max: Uh… Liz? Liz: What? Max: You have a hickey…

— I wonder how it got there… 🤣 🤣

— If the flashes are happening because Max is touching her glowing hickey, why did they stop there? Why not get all the answers right away?

listen I love og roswell, it was amazing and the only issues I had were alex dying and max/tess but in s3, even though I don't hate jesse I still fully believe they should've done kyle/isabel!! with alex gone and tess gone (I shipped kyle/tess hard af!!) it would've been better to do kyle/isabel like I wanted them to happen so bad especially after the new year's episode but alas it didn't happen I just didn't like Jesse/Isabel idk why it just didn't work for me and I think the show hinted at kyle/isabel ending up together because he went with them and jesse didn't so my headcanon is they were endgame lol
