Oh no I’m thinking about VtM npcs again
#text#screaming into the void#vtm#I started doing prep :)#they’re all such horrid beasts#god hates some of them more than the average cainite#Davis just wants order she just wants things to be civil#she’s so human in her push to maintain and so ventrue in her enforcement of edifice despite being an anarch#what decent bulwark is so prone to cracking#I think she thinks about that a lot#the sins of her clan eat her alive and she can’t escape from them no matter how hard much she fortifies her defence#Saoirse is so similar but refuses to lock people out in the same way#she WANTS To see her clan used for good! she does! but she’s self-loathing in the extreme#and it’s easier to turn that hatred outward and pretend all of your loneliness isn’t the fault of a century of trauma#but could easily be fixed if your kin weren’t essentially an MLM cult supreme in a world filled with MLM cults#Mavka who is just. a freak. and knows it. knows that god hates them and hates god for it#perpetually confused in their own ostrasization until they have no choice but to revel in it#it’s funny to me at least that every time Mavka sees Sybil it’s just :> yay Sybil my friend Sybil#Very clearly they could try to be more normal but it’s also absolutely out of the question for them to do anything but wage slow war#against a god that they hardly know outside of resentment#I cannot talk about major villain themes bc that would be telling :)
