So I just watched Moana 2, and I can't wait for when the people on the island grow old.

I want to see Moana distraught by the fact that she's now a demigod, meaning that she'll never grow old, while her parents and little sister will eventually die.

Imagine she inadvertently becomes a villain, by subconsciously stopping time on her island when one of her parents is dying, making it so they remain alive but everyone is stuck in this emotional turmoil of maybe today is the day when they'll say their final goodbye, only for time to be unmoving to begin with.

Imagine how much it might affect the ecosystem, making it so they have nothing but fish to eat for the rest of eternity unless they find a way to fix this situation, but no one knows it's Moana's doing, including Moana herself.

So Moana goes out to the sea to find the reason for the sudden lack of planetary resources, thinking that maybe someone had messed with Te Fiti's heart again, only to find out that it's actually been her doing all along.

Imagine the emotional turmoil she'd have to go through in order to decide what to do about it once she finds the reason as to why she did this to begin with.

Also, on the other side of the spectrum, imagine Maui's possible guilt throughout all of this.

Maui, who has been selfish and alone for over three thousand years, who finally had a connection with someone and that someone became a demigod just like him, meaning that he won't have to lose her like he'd feared.

The parallels that could be shown: Maui's guilty gratitude for Moana's new demigod status faced with Moana's sorrow at having to watch her loved ones die. Moana, who's about to lose everything but her one demigod friend, and Maui, who's never had anyone to lose and when he finally got one, someone who could be considered a weakness, they get to live forever with him as well.

I imagine Maui comforting Moana, his guilt eating him on the inside as that selfish part of him is grateful that he won't have to feel what Moana is feeling right now.

Moana leaving the island because she doesn't want to hurt anyone again; leaving her little sister sobbing as she's waiting for her return, only to realize that Moana had lied (to protect them) once she's older.

God, the angst potential, the hurt, the worry, the fear, the scared everyone throughout everything but especially once they find out that the person who they trusted the most was actually the one who was putting them in danger all along.

I swear, Disney should either hire or pirate me before I write my own fanfic and hire animators to bring this idea to life instead.

My favorite part of Moana was when she was at her lowest part and Maui went: “ITS ABOUT DRIVE 👊‼️ITS ABOUT POWER 🔌💥” And then she felt better and moanaed all over the sea

I saw Moana 2 yesterday and I thought it was ok, and the biggest pet peeve I have with it is Moana and Simea calling each other big sis and little sis😭 The person who wrote that dialogue has no siblings and it shows

New Moana 2 News. Storm god villain and Kakamora ally.

according to some news, during the Tautai ceremony Moana will receive a vision from the last Tautai warning her about Motufetu, the island that connects all Polynesian islands and the jealous god of storms who guards it.

aside from that, alongside with Loto(the girl), Kele(the old man), Moni(the young man), Maui, HeiHei and Pua, Moana will be also accompanied by Kotu.

This is Kotu the Kakamora.

Based on what I read, Kotu(described as being like Moana personality wise) will join Moana and her crew after an encounter with the giant clam monster we saw in the teaser.

Now as excited I am for this movie, I have 2 concerns:

I hope the god of storms will be an actual evil villain with a great villain song like the classic ones and not one that is sympathetic.

With the amount of characters we will be focusing on, lets not have a repeat of Asha's 7 friends. Hope each one will be flashed out.

Guys… important question should I make a short animatic with Maui from Moana and George from Captain Underpants using this one clip because it feels like them so bad 😭

But at the same time I have a strange sense of wanting to be as accurate as possible so I have to spend some time studying their character sheets ☝️
