Chitarristi.

Un chitarrista che stimo e che reputo un grandissimo è Mattias Eklundh, detto IA (non so perché), chitarrista metal svedese, in realtà fa più progressive metal, pipponi distorti va, seguendo però il sistema indiano Konnakol dando vita a composizioni molto particolari, poi va bè ha una tecnica incredibile, il suo uso del tapping è interessante ne ho acquisito l'idea di base :D.

Comunque, non posta molto ultimamente, però quando lo fa è sempre un piacere ascoltarlo, anche più di una volta.

Dimenticavo è un simpaticone :D

Tuesday, November 15: Freak Kitchen, “Silence!”

Although the aptly named Freak Kitchen’s discography was fairly consistent over the past 25 years, Dead Soul Men did mark the end of one era as it was the last to feature the band’s original rhythm section (that said, after this switch the lineup remained steady ever since).  Regardless, “Silence!” opened the record in typical form, bashing and careening with a strange mix of hard rock and prog. Mattias Eklundh’s vocals and guitar went all over the place, providing a slightly disorienting feel while still rocking out.  There was no clean way to describe Freak Kitchen’s sound, as it was catchy without being overly accessible and heavy without relying on any of the trademarks employed by fellow Swedish acts.  If anything, it was surprising that Eklundh was able to keep this going for so long.

Si notre représentation musicale européenne avec ses triples et quadruples croches semble si complexe pour apréhender le solfège rythmique les indiens ont eu l’idée de “chanter le rythme” pour simplifier son apprentissage. Pour certains ce sera toujours aussi abscons que notre système pour d’autre ce sera la “révélation” du troisième oeil chère aux hindous :) !! Et si vous pensez que ça n’a rien à voir avec le rock and roll vous avez tout faux !
