i heard danielle start to ask the question and then heard "jeric" leave her mouth and practically screamed "YES!! WHAT WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR" in my car at 2:30 am.... and then. That happened.

like i GET IT. matt is a hetero guy who played homophobic "jokes" for laughs in the 90s

so i understand (i guess) how he wouldn't think that jeric was "meant to be like that" in the script. but my guy. you admitted you see fans posts online about shipping. do you SEE the things that happened between your characters??? you gotta admit what canon gave us was definitely tons of hints IN THE TEXT about how your two characters were more than just a "bromance" (can we kill that word?)

and will just lets him gloss over the question and doesn't admit that HE HIMSELF said at the beginning of s5 (end of s4?) on the pod that eric would be gay (or bi) if bmw was a show in 2024... (AND has said at meet and greets/conventions that eric loved jack!!! like loved, as in was IN LOVE with jack at some point- witnessed by @sidekickjoey!) so like, c'mon!!!!

i understand you don't wanna push someone's views of the character they played, but it was more than subtext in the show, and will knows that. will has spoken about it a lot over the years. will wrote the reunion episode. so it's disappointing they didn't question matt about it further.

at this rate i feel like we'll never get an actual full conversation about it. it's so frustrating
