Weeks without sunlight had completely wrecked her internal schedule and Daisy would find herself becoming drowsy at odd hours. Not that it really mattered when there had still been little leads on finding the rest of her team. It was hard not to feel frustrated or hopeless, and in an attempt to feel some kind of useful she had found herself parked on a familiar old street. In front of a place in any other circumstance she would have been perfectly happy to never see again. So far, nothing had happened, only the normal (whatever that was) foot traffic that allowed for dark eyes to fall closed.
It went against her training and Daisy could only imagine what May would say to be caught so off guard. But there was nothing but static on the radio at the moment and it would do no good to run the battery dead on her borrowed car of the week. It wasn’t long before she’d slipped into a fit of restless sleep, only to be jolted awake by a firm knock on her window.
“Good job Agent Johnson.” She groaned to herself, rubbing her eyes before pulling herself into a sitting position to open the door and send an innocent and curious look at the man standing outside. “Can I help you...?”
#TH1RTE3N is a group verse based around original slasher lore. if you want to know more or you’re interested in joining, please read the CARRD.
the plot follows a slasher in two different timelines, targeting a group of friends who all went to school together. the first timeline takes place in the summer of 2009, following graduation leading up to the first six victims being killed. there was a thirteen year gap, where most of the survivors fled town and moved on with their lives. the second time line picks up in the summer of 2022 with kill #7, when first hale came back to hell and ended up being the first kill of the new timeline. the killer used the funeral and threatened family members and friends to lure the other six names on the list back to hell.
the original six victims are available to be written in the 2009 timeline. to make this plot work best, we need other citizens of hell, ohio too. think of the characters in your favorite slasher films. cops, classmates, siblings and cousins, exes, anyone that could spice up the plot through dynamics. you are welcome to make another character affiliated with any other existing character in the plot, as long as you discuss it with the mun of the character you are affiliating with first (i will check, don't be weird.)

Radio Free Skaro podcast is doing commentaries for series 11, they released the first of the commentaries, (The Woman Who Fell to Earth) with Bustle’s Sage Young.
I really like some of their insights and because Sage Young met Jodie Whittaker last year when she interviewed Whittaker.
(Also she interviewed Daisy Ridley and I’m tickled pink that Ridley, like Whittaker, or a lot of British people actually swear like a sailor).
Anyway, the significant part for me was this exchange:
Steven SchepanskyI really like how she doesn't quite, like, stand on ceremony. Like, 'Oh, I think I'm going to miss you.' Y'know, like, she's still -- there's a certain detachment still.
Sage Young: Yeah! Really, the detachment was what sold me on the... well, partially, what sold me on her. Like, that was her most alien quality.
Steven: Uh-huh!
Sage: Like with Matt Smith it's kind of like the floopines, it's like, y'know, that he's all over the place and for her it's a little bit like she seems like she's warm, and then she's like: 'Oh! Right, you're still here!'
Steven: Yeah, it's like: "I think I'm going to miss you." My default reaction is to not miss you, I might -- I'll bump that up one.
I am just really happy that people notice Thirteen's detachment -- like she presents herself as open and warm but actually, is kind of very much a private person/alien.
But also, that Thirteen still retain that absentmindedness about people but she gets away with it more because she's either less verbal or obvious about it.
This was previously going to be called RE: BCI Comics on Megaposts, but I ended up changing it as I changed my stance on this topic mid-way through this post.
Some number of weeks ago I was asked a good question by Shika regarding why I don’t necessarily touch upon the Bittersweet Club International chapters more often enough in some of the megaposts.
It’s a perfectly valid question since there is a lot of potential discussion to be had with regards to the characters especially considering the nature of the BCI comics; they tend to be ‘what-if’ stories which test character’s behaviours in different settings and additional bonus stories that help compliment the main story. Examples of what-if stories include the comic about David being a magician, or the comic about what would happen if the tendencies of the characters were cranked up to 12, what would have happened if Mike chased after Lucy at the end of Confrontation, and what would’ve happened if Lucy went to Paulo when Mike called her a parasite at the end of December? Examples of Bonus stories that directly compliment the main story include the backstory of Jessica and Madison’s relationship, or Matt’s struggling with his sexuality and school life in his freshman year, or the one where Lucy and Jordan fight during dinner.
One of the main reasons I didn’t originally include the BCI comics was more often than not just me having trouble determining whether or not the BCI comics can be considered trustworthy to talk about given that many of them had been requests made by users (Earlier suggested by friends and later, Kickstarters tiered rewards), and it’s possible that there could have been some level of leniency towards changes to characters behaviours that may not support how they act in the main comic, enough to make me feel hesitant at where or not they should be considered true. So I kept the focus to the main comic instead of potential what-ifs.
For example, the BCI comic Another Chance, is a ‘what-if’ of Love My Way, in this AU Chapter, Abbey is not present that night when Daisy is out with the Carnival with Mike and begins where Augustus has her cornered against the tree. This comic was a great justice for Augustus back in the day as he was always this super secret character whose MO was very much hidden, and seeing this comic at the time was interesting but you didn’t know if you could take it seriously in line with the main comic; was Augustus actually a victim or was he just one in this version? We didn’t know until much later in 2015 that it’s true! (But I admittedly figured as much when it was iterated again in Accidents will happen)
The fascinating thing about the comic is that Daisy seems to acquire an epiphany at that point when Augustus closes in on her and kisses her, and she asks him; ‘Well?’, causing Augustus to feel that he needs to explain himself what he was trying to do. Daisy rebukes him as it turns out the only thing she really needed to be told was to tell her she didn’t need to be like this from the beginning.
As great as this ‘what-if’ chapter turns out to be, it’s weird given that Daisy manages this epiphany given how she reacts to Abbey when he confronts her about the same thing, granted his method of doing so was so hamfisted and he doesn’t regard her personal feelings, she never appeared to seek advice with anyone else, even from Paulo. Suddenly, Daisy has figured out the answer all out on her own.
In another example, in Sob Story, Sue is trying to write about how unjust the nature of their underfunded education system is by writing about the problems the least financially well off students in her school have to contend with. Her original plan is with Paulo, who turned out to be more in it for a chocolate bar than to help Sue out, not willing to allow himself to be victimised. When Augustus passes Sue in the hallway, she asks him instead, having learned from Daisy that he’s not well off himself. She gets a lot more than what she bargained for as she learns more about his need to steal to get by like how Lucy did when she became a stole-away on his bus trip. By the end of the comic, Sue gets her story.
I tend to view this story as a ‘what-if’ considering would Sue be THAT desperate for a story from a creeper like Augustus? She tends to avoid drama. Additionally, would Augustus even be willing to give off more about himself to a complete STRANGER given he had tried his best to keep Lucy from learning ANYTHING there was to do with him for the longest time, but now he’s opening up?
However , I could be wrong, and reason for me to consider them in future...
It’s possible in Another Chance the events that lead to Daisy’s epiphany could have potentially happened when you consider the time that Daisy had spent with Augustus; Daisy is naive at times (she herself admits), but not stupid; she’s hellishly smart. She had taken into consideration earlier long before that getting too involved with Augustus could potentially lead to a personal risk of her safety, particularly given the way he acts around and towards her friends, but not towards her; enough to suggest he was deliberately trying to manipulate and take advantage of her. She knew as much in advance.
But we’re open to the idea that Daisy is an excellent judge of character given she was able to see a different side to Paulo’s crass behaviour and see a more caring individual. There is even more evidence now given Augustus’ backstory at current to see that Daisy has this ability, even despite a minor set-back in an earlier chapter where Daisy misunderstand’s Katie which has us believe this isn’t the case.
Daisy achieves a point during their meet-ups where she understands Augustus’ inner heart; she’s hung out with him so often that she sees another side in him. They were that into each other.
So after Augustus forces himself onto her, he backs off and....nothing. Augustus appears a little stunned, his plan and expectations didn’t play out, and neither did the opposite; Daisy doesn’t make any effort to resist and defend herself; she doesn’t run, she doesn’t scream, or attack him. She stays and appears as if resigned to accept whatever’s coming, even asking him ‘Well?’ as if to say to hurry up and get it over with.
Augustus drops the act then and there, he never intended to do that.
Augustus explains that everything from that night — her rejection from Mike — had been in order to try and get Daisy to understand that she could be the kind of girl she always dreamed she wanted to be around him, and he would be more than happy to give her all the attention that was needed, as he believed that was what was causing her to be miserable in the first place.
And it gets more interesting.
Augustus is shocked when Daisy tells him they could have talked about it all instead; she isn’t a toy to be played with. And it comes with a question to Augustus when the topic is on people’s “true self”.
Are you sure you’re so damn straightforward yourself?
Daisy flips this all back onto Augustus.
Daisy affirms to him the risks she knowingly took; Augustus may have been a real dirtbag ready to take advantage of her all that time they hung out together. Despite this risk, she somehow trusted there was more to him after meeting with him constantly and still went ahead with it day after day. Sure enough, at none of those times when they met up did he try to assault her then. Instead, they talked, and Augustus told her everything there was to do with himself, there was no real effort to hide anything from her. He really, really, really wanted her to like him. She felt this was genuine.
The final confirmation that made all this true was when Augustus pulled himself away from her even when he had her all to himself in her most vulnerable and weakened state. He even admitted to her, he wouldn’t do that to her.
She already knew him too well, but nothing she knew right there explained this plan of his.
Then there’s an ironic twist in all of this when it comes down to that plan:
He blew it! She tells him suddenly. He never needed to play this game! He never needed to feel to feel the need to make her experience failure to get over him so she could open up to him.
And that’s because she was already being won over by him, and she admits as much to him. They had started to meet day after day, and she was starting to fall for him.
It was Augustus himself who convinced her she needed to keep chasing after Mike.
Augustus runs away when Daisy reveals this and how everything he’s done is nothing different from spitting in her face; he played himself, he thought he could use his intellect to solve all her problems, instead it was robbing him of own happiness. He treated her like a toy despite all the support she gave him in the face of Abbey and Paulo, and she despises being treated that way. He realises how awful he’s been, he can’t stand to face her.
He doesn’t get too far, and she corners him. She does her best to try and get him to tell him the truth about why; what’s he actually keeping secret from her. Augustus tells her he can’t tell her and can’t involve her in the things he’s been up to. But Daisy tells him she’s already worked it out, she knows he’s not in a bad place.
Augustus finds himself trying to get away as fast as he can. This time Daisy doesn’t follow him.
At the following school day, Daisy tracks down Augustus and shows the resolve needed to get Augustus to level with her. Augustus spills the beans, and tells her to move on. He expects her to, but like the night before, she tells him it doesn’t have to go his way.
It’s excellent and should’ve been included, if not to at least suggest that even when you think you’re so smart, you’re not. But we have a lot of Lucy and Augustus moments which prove this in the main comic.
Going back to before, in the same fashion, Sob Story may actually be a bonus story instead of a what-if; this story appears to be taking place when Augustus is slowly opening himself up to people who want something to do with him or seem good natured. Augustus puts himself in personal risk when revealing his circumstances even under anonymity. Considering Augustus really strives to do good things when he can like giving advice to Lucy, helping out Daisy’s friend is something he’s willing to place a bet on. The last thing he tells Sue “You can’t save everyone” feels like the same lesson giving he tries to make at Daisy in Love My way, but this time; she should give up on her attempts to make the world a better place; she’s too powerless she doesn’t have the means to fight against how the world really is.
But just like in Another chance, it doesn’t go Augustus’ way, Sue goes through with the story regardless of Lucy’s snide remark about whether anyone really reads the articles and shares her view of the world and Augustus’ suggestion she’s better off not trying; someone out there has to care, and it turns out there’s more than either of them know about.
It’s a very cute story and I’m often tempted to jump the PauloxSue ship for it, so long as I felt they could get closer in some way through the main comic but I’m riding the AugustusxLucy and PauloxSue ships simultaniously
The Augustus x Sue Ships Ahoy! was also a sequel!
Admittingly, I feel that particular BCI Comic and the Ship’s Ahoy does more for Sue’s character rather than Augustus’, we know more about his past from Trapped, meanwhile Sue is a secondary character who we don’t see much of. We know she’s into trying to make the world a better place and that comic consolidates that idea further.
Another Trip a BCI comic about Lucy succeeding in following Augustus back to his home having failed before in On Our Own was our real big insight into Augustus, not having seen too much in Augustus’ living conditions previously. this chapter was more or less welcomed even though I wasn’t big on him back in the day but considering it’s been iterated into the main comic under ‘Trapped’ there’s not much that wasn’t iterated better in the main comic.
There are of course chapters which I feel don’t really add too much to a character to talk about that the main comic does better; Accidents Will Happen tends to focus more on Abbey and Daisy rather than Augustus, and we already know about Auggie’s affection for Daisy by Another Chance. In the same fashion, as absolutely adorable Play Date is, it’s less justice for Augustus’ character’s nature than Lucy’s, as we see a more nurturing side of hers, and child-augustus’ innocent demeanor is explored better in Trapped.
Anyway, I suppose I will look into discussing more BCI comics and their relevancy to the characters in future megaposts, I’ll probably make addendums for the ones in the past if I feel they contribute. You can also let me know if you have ones you think should include.

Feb 13, 2019 Having the same problem on my on my Mac even after following the directions for How to control a Mac running macOS 10.14 Mojave on both apple computers one running MAC OS 14 and one running MacOS 10.13. Team Viewer is the same Version on both computers. Also added Teamview to the Firewall Settings still no keyboard and mouse on remote computer. TeamViewer Not Working in Windows 10. Windows 10 is running on more than 800 million devices. Recently, I noticed a problem in it: the TeamViewer not working. Many users reported that they can't use it anymore after upgrading systems to Windows 10. There is no connection to partner. The session limit of Teamviewer is reached. Mar 19, 2020 Teamviewer allows you access to computers remotely. It works for Mac, PC, and Mac to PC remote access. Both computers need to have Teamviewer installed before using it. Once they install. TeamViewer Host is used for 24/7 access to remote computers, which makes it an ideal solution for uses such as remote monitoring, server maintenance, or connecting to a PC or Mac in the office or at home. Install TeamViewer Host on an unlimited number of computers and devices. As a licensed user, you have access to them all! Teamviewer pc to mac not working windows 7. Re: Team Viewer NOT Working on Mac Is there a box at the top right of the TeamViewer window for the partner ID? If you don't have the TeamViewer window open, right click the TeamViewer icon on your Doc and select TeamViewer.
Omnisphere 2 is slow as heck. So I just got omnisphere 2 and it is super slow. Traktor pro kontrol s2. It takes 30 seconds to load the plugins and 5 seconds to load each sound so browsing for sounds is hell. My PC can definitely run it since it is an i7 7700HQ, 16 GB RAM 256 GB SSD. Also, all of omnisphere and fl studio is on the ssd so i can't see where the problem lies. Username: Password: (lost your username or password?) Hi everybody!
Does anybody else have issues with Omnisphere 2 in terms of loading times of the GUI?
In particular, if you load up a project - and open a track with Omni2 on it,
its a delay of about 30 seconds until the GUI shows up.
(S1 is not reactive in that time, too..)
Made the same test with Bitwig Studio, and there is only a delay about 5 seconds until the GUI shows up.
Anyone else can test this, or is it already a known issue?
(IMPORTANT: has to be a big project (around 30+ tracks with different VSTs loaded.etc.)
in a fresh project, only loading one instance of Omnisphere is also fast ~about 5 seconds)

Yes, it's been slower to load for me also. I got both Omni2 and S1 3 at about the same time. Always assumed it was the new Omni that was slow. Everything else loads at the same speed. S1 3 definately has worse CPU performance than V2 for me.

no its not omnisphere's fault,
as I said - in Bitwig Studio the opening process of the GUI is much faster (around 5 sec in big projects with many omnisphere instances)

What graphics do you have on your system? There is a definate problem between Waves and Intel on my system, and I am wondering if Intel may be causing an issue on your system?

Thanks. Just trying to compile some data to look for common circumstances.
Thanks a lot!
This is a really serious issue..if you use many omnisphere instances, waiting everytime 30> seconds is a real workflow-killer.

See I talked about a maximum of 2000 ms of lag for the gui to open. I don't have any difference in omni load times on my beast of a computer in different daws was my point. Your talking 5000 ms+ something is going on

Omni 2.1 released this morning. Improvements include fixing the slow load/boot time for Omni 2. So, apparently it was Omni, not Studio One. Haven't tried it out yet, just woke up.

Intel I7-4790 cpu.
So most likely you have Intel integrated on the mobo. Intel makes a crappy driver. I would look for an update to that. Check with your pc manufacturer website, as sometimes windows incorrectly reports the installed driver to be the most current.
much faster load time with the update thanks for sharing brent!
