i hate the “Garroth was the biological father of Levin” aus. absolutely no shame if you like it or find it fun!! I’m not knocking you guys at all, feel free to have fun and I’m not gonna judge you for that, but like- in terms of my own personal comfort and boundaries, for some reason I’ve always been super uncomfortable with the idea as a whole, in every flavor it manifests in. i’ve seen ideas that were like more on the healthy, happy consensual side that still irk me, and I’ve seen ideas on the horrifically violent noncon side for how Garroth ended up the maternal/paternal biological parent of Levin that absolutely scare the shit out of me and deeply unnerve me. that shit haunts me, man. and it’s not even an opposition to violent or scary or more “unconventional means of parenthood” type of stories that bother me, because I love to read and consume and write horror media and unconventional parenthood fics all the time, if it were any other character from another piece of media I would probably be fine with it!!! but it’s specifically Garroth ending up in some sort of sexual or more than platonic relationship with either Matilda or Malik that sits with me like a fucking spider in my face. whether it’s the uncharacteristic “he would not fucking say that” aspect of Garroth being a homewrecker that has an affair with another man’s wife, or the fact that it’s so far from what actually happened in canon that it feels like a gross mischaracterization of everyone involved, or it’s the horrifically disturbing aspect of “Malik was a horrible person that treated him horribly” or even just the uncanniness of Malik and Matilda chilling in a bed with Garroth between the two of them, I. Cannot. I can’t. I can’t do it. and that’s entirely just a me thing. i think maybe it’s because of my own fanon headcanons that are obviously very different from other peoples, which is a ridiculous standard for me to hold other people to so I won’t ! but oh my god it irks me so fucking bad and it drives me up the wall

well, here is a very tiny bey fic WIP post, i only have two i’m currently working on (didn’t start the filthy multishipping fest yet) and they’re actually old already because it’s just unfinished things sitting on my PC never seeing the light of day but, i guess they still count as WIPs. and obviously, they haven’t been beta read so very good my english is

I let out a discontent grunt while handing my helmet over to Ralf, who then carried on to remove the rest of my armour. Being the strongest sure sounded grand, but it got old pretty fast. It was hard to find any motivation to keep going when the greatest achievement of my fencing career had been beating my own Gramps once, and he’s a fossil anyway, or like spoiled, soggy noodles, way past his prime as a former king and fencing champion, so the victory didn't taste all that sweet. I’d been telling Gramps for almost a year now that I finally wanted to switch to real swordfighting, but no, he just wasn't having any of it; he kept saying I had to come of age before I was allowed to do as much as touch a real sword, made of metal instead of wood. What total bullshit. The geezer kept hogging the family heirloom sword all to himself, but I was well aware it actually belonged to me. I was the king, and it was mine! Why couldn't I at least have it in my own room?!

“You're stronger at swordfighting than at fencing, right?” I asked Ralf once he was done putting the equipment away.

“Obviously, Your Highness,” he said, “I am strong enough to protect you from any harm.”

“Then having a go with swords would be more fun to you too, wouldn't it??”

“I do not point my sword at anyone for 'fun', Your Highness.”

Ralf was the kind of guy who must have been a riot in parties. Not that he ever attended any, I pondered as I left the old, muggy training hall. Fencing was alright, but even that stone hall was so dull, whenever I set my foot inside I felt like a part of me just died of boredom. I knew I had what it took to be able to wield a real sword. I wasn't a child anymore, but Gramps seemed to treat me as one.

Mao spent the day playing games in bed, painfully aware that she was supposed to be studying for finals instead. Not only did she feel like death, the spring weather had betrayed them once again and it was ridiculously chilly that day, so reading outside, which she really enjoyed doing, was out of question. Mathilda (who had the common sense to not drink) was kind enough to bring some McD's for dinner in late afternoon. They sat eating together on their dorm room's floor when Mao got a message from Rei.

“Have you seen Max today?”

She hadn't, because she hadn't left the room even once.

“No,” she sent Rei back, “I need to study.” Well, it was partially true. She'd wasted most of the day already, but maybe she could squeeze some actual studying in now that she was feeling a better.

Mao found her heart pounding in rather unpleasant anticipation as she stared at Rei's message. Was he still thinking of asking Max out? Was that why he asked if she'd seen him? She was probably overthinking it big time now; they hung out together a lot, so it wasn't unusual at all for Rei to ask.

“Is something wrong?” Mathilda asked timidly.

“My cousin just did something really dumb,” Mao explained and gnawed on a fry like an anxious hamster.

ok i know you just got a confession about this but i think about it a little differently than other people in the fandom? its a wack and wild way to frame it, so warning for suggestive themes. tbh i think lord malik and matilda were struggling with infertility issues. weather or not malik was a good lord, i think he must of really liked garroth in some way, and so did his wife! thus. i dont think it could have been too far fetched to say they could have participated in a threesome like. idk this is just how i’ve been thinking about it lately. i think it keeps garroths character intact, and explains why matilda didn’t tell him? in my head?
