Math Girl Au

This is a species swap and minor role/gimmick swap. This is a rough draft idea and I don't have all the details planned out yet. I have notes at the bottom for stuff and ideas I am contemplating on whether to input or improve.

Here is what I have so far:

Math Girl - This is a what if for Becky being from Hexagon instead of Lexicon. She is not strong as her canon counterpart. She uses more gadgets to help her out to fight crimes rather than just her powers. Captain Huggy Face/Bob is a ferret. Still has his name. Her hero outfit has Kid Math's colors. The design is similar to her canon outfit with a few changes.

A Navy blue utility belt to carry some of her gadgets.

Her gloves have shield attachments as well as able to launch tracking devices or grappling hooks. Her boots allow her to stick to walls like spiderman.

She has an aqua blue visor that gives her current details from news outlets or online chatter that helps her communicate with the police force as well as her sidekick and track down villain crimes.

Instead of the star of equal sign insignia - Becky's insignia consists of a four corners in a circle. Mathematic symbols printed white inside a light blue circle outlined by a white circle. Top left: plus sign; Top right: minus sign; Bottom left: division sign; Bottom right: multiplication sign.

Huggy has the same outfit but ferret size and has a yellow visor (I just think the outfit looks too cool to replace) Bob wears a bandana instead of a diaper.

Becky's Personality: Same as canon, only this time she is obsessed with numbers and math. Becky in this au is actually good in art, music, and dance since they require mathematical equations most of the time to perform them flawlessly. Her vocab skills are medium - better than the other residents of Fair City, but not as great as her canon counterpart. She takes writing classes with her friend Rose Franklin to help practice her writing and word skills. She can still write well, just has difficulty finding the write words and has a little trouble in her literature and spelling assignments unlike canon Becky.

Her outfit:

A Green cardigan with buttons over a white blouse. She wears pink Capri Pants and her canon shoes and socks. She also wears the same color bow tie like her dad :3. Her hair is longer than canon and she wears it in a low ponytail.

Kid Vocabulary - So Rex is from Lexicon in this au. His outfit designs are similar to canon except with Wordgirl's color Scheme. The only notable difference is that his emblem is a rocket taking off instead of a star. Same personality as canon, just obsessed with words. Instead of wearing glasses over his eye mask, he wears red goggles with yellow lenses. In his civilian form, Rex wears these goggle over his head like Steven while also wearing glasses. Also in his secret identity life, Rex wears dark green pants with black tennis shoes. He has a short red sleeved shirt over a light blue, long sleeved shirt. Hair style is the same as canon. Also his alien name is Rexicon instead of Rexagon in this au.

-It's an Amazing Dads au.

-Amazo Guy and Miss Power swap species as well.

-Colonel Gigglecheeks is a hawk that has talons and a beak that can slice and break apart just about anything.

-The Botsford Family are villains in this au.

-Rose is the replacement for Scoops but also takes Violet's role in some episodes. Scoops is the new kid.

-Violet is also a villain in this au - sort of takes Victoria's role like in my alliance swap au.

-Professor James Doohickey takes Dr. Two Brains role

-Bosco is a ferret in this au as well as Bob.

Stuff I am still deciding on:

-Incorporating TJ into Tobey's role in a certain way.

-Deciding on whether to have Victoria or Tobey be the second friend in Becky's friend trio.

-Whether I want Squeaky to still be a mouse in this au or not.

-Changing the gimmicks for the other villains.

So that's the basis I have so far. I won't be able to get much more into this over the weekend as I am going out of town on vacation on college break. I will be back to edit stuff on Monday.

Phantomhive Murders arc as Cluedo

We should have known the “Black Butler” would be an intended victim, and that the main culprit would be the Earl Grey. And here’s why:

Named “Cluedo” when it was first *released* in the U.K. (where it originated), the game revolved around a body found at the bottom of the cellar stairs, and it’s found by Miss Scarlett. The victim is a Mr. Black (the US changed it to Mr. Boddy). All of the suspects have a color in their name. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Cluedo_characters

Mr. Black/Mr. Boddy is the host, a rather shady character himself; his house guests generally suspect that he has invited them over for blackmailing purposes, intrigue, and/or even pure "sport". Since the earl is the host, one might expect him to be Mr. Black, but Sebastian fills that role, instead, since he acts as "co-host" in many ways (and isn't really going to be dead afterward). Besides, we need the earl alive. Otherwise the series is over.... Not only is Sebastian the "Black Butler", but he ended up with the stage name "Black" in the previous arc. It was fallout from the investigation into the Noah's Ark Circus that led to the queen asking (demanding) the earl hold this overnight dinner party in the first place.

Miss Scarlett is the first to roll the dice, since she finds the body. She’s usually referred to as blonde, in her twenties, an actress, and a gold-digger. This works well with our blonde opera singer, Irene Diaz, who dates her producer, Grimsby Keane… and uses that “scarlet” liquid to keep herself looking younger than she really is.

Next to roll is Colonel Mustard, a military type with a “glittering” past. Usually clean-cut, severe, and about 40 yrs old. Sometimes depicted as a buffoon. He is sometimes depicted as trading on the black market and also sometimes suspects being blackmailed by the host. I’d say it works well with our other intended victim, Georg von Siemens, but since we need it to be a suspect, I’d place him with our diamond merchant, Karl Woodley. As you know, he gets framed for all the murders. It’s suggested he could have even smuggled in the snake that killed Phelps (by accident), too, since it is a Black Mamba from Africa, and because Woodley’s diamonds are mostly from Africa. Though the earl and Sebastian aren’t exactly blackmailing him, they are fine with the murders getting pinned on him, since he did kill (or had someone else kill) a rival diamond dealer. Probably was heavily involved with the black market….

Third to roll is Mrs. White, usually depicted as a servant, like a maid or nanny (usually a maid). Her age can vary quite a bit. She’s usually depicted as bitter about her job. Though the other four Phantomhive servants (at the time) seem to love their jobs, I’m placing them, collectively, as Mrs. White. Besides, Mey-Rin really is suspected of being an accomplice and wanting to run off with the butler.

Fourth is The Rev. Mr. Green/Reverend Green/Mr. Green. He’s depicted as “a hypocritical Anglican priest who weakens when it comes to the Sixth commandment, murder.” This would be great as Sebastian’s depiction of the invented “Vicar Jeremy Rathbone”. However, “Jeremy” gets out of the suspect list by supplying a good alibi. Therefore, I’ll place this suspect as Lau and Ran-Mau, since Mr. Green is also often depicted as one “who has taken many money-oriented roles from mobster to businessman.” The 1963 US version even depicts him as a “cartoon caricature of a snobbish, decadent playboy wearing a green housecoat and smoking a cigarette on a holder.” Makes me think quite a bit of our opium den-running, gang leader, and importer/drug-smuggler Lau… lounging around with his Ran-Mao…. Also note that Ran-Mao means “blue cat”, so we have another “color name”.

Fifth is Mrs. Peacock. She’s *originally* shown to be rather queen-like, even wearing a tiara. I’m designating Earl Grey in this role, since he is there to represent Queen Victoria and to protect her interests.

Sixth is Professor Plum. He’s usually depicted as young, highly intelligent, wearing glasses and a bow tie, and smoking a pipe. It’s sometimes said that “with his good looks and charm he has found a dark side being sneaky.” Some renditions have him being an archeologist, an inventor, a mathematical genius… a more recent version even has him as a successful video game designer named *Victor Plum*. Our young earl is highly intelligent, wears an eye patch and (often) a bow tied at the neck. For official art surrounding this arc, he’s sometimes shown dressed as Sherlock Holmes, sporting a pipe. He has the good looks and charm, and he’s definitely sneaky. He’s a gaming enthusiast who seems to specialize in chess, but the toy industry side to his Funtom Co. has been shown to sell video game consoles (and possibly the games, too, even though this is all *highly* anachronistic). Also, his father’s name is Vincent Phantomhive. Victor Plum? Haha. Yeah, the professor thing would work for Arthur, too, but I’d rather not assign him a Cluedo character at all, since, like Jeremy, Arthur gets removed from the suspect list about as soon as he gets on it. Arthur is thrown into the role of “player” outside the game; the earl invited him just to figure it all out…. And yeah, it is the earl’s manor, so he is “host”, but he’s not a corpse, plus some versions allowed the victim to vary. Meanwhile, the earl is considered a major suspect. He's considered suspect number one until Sebastian ends up "dead", and the earl's alibi is water-tight. Doesn't hurt that he puts on a big show of mourning for Sebastian. Also note that the earl goes by “Ciel”, which can be a color, sky blue. But there are color names throughout the manga series anyway….

TL:DR: It’s still a bit long, but…. So, here are the people in the arc and their Cluedo counterparts, etc.:

1. Sebastian: Mr. Black/Mr. Boddy, a victim. “Killed” by Earl Grey but not the *originally* intended victim. The truth of his attacker is only (later) revealed to the earl of Phantomhive and Arthur. At the very end he acts like the “case file”, giving us all the answers (the who, the when and where, and the with what). Except regarding Mr. Phelps; he only gives that information to the earl….

2. Jeremy (Sebastian in disguise): the “thirteenth” suspect, who gets cut from the suspect list almost immediately. He sort of starts filling the role of the actual clue cards in the game. He helps keep the investigation going but also rules out false clues.

3. Georg von Siemens: another Mr. Boddy. The *originally* intended victim. Was never on the suspect list. Though he initially faked his own death, he was soon-after killed by Earl Grey. Interesting to note that the original game has the body of the victim found at the bottom of the stairs to the cellar. Though Mr. Siemens faked his death in his guest room, he was actually killed in a wine cellar….

4. Mr. Phelps: another Mr. Boddy. The only real shocker to the earl, since the earl only expected an attack on Siemens and Sebastian. Also, the intended victim was actually our earl, not Phelps. Not even Earl Grey had anything to do with this. An absolutely outside job. Talk about throwing a wrench into the machine…. or game of Cluedo.

5. Miss Diaz and Mr. Keane: suspect Miss Scarlett, the actress. Miss Diaz is at one point accused of going vampiric on Mr. Phelps…. Miss Diaz and Mr. Keane are always together, so they move as one piece.

6. Mr. Woodley: suspect Colonel Mustard, who, in return, suspects blackmail/foul play. It all pretty much gets pinned on him in the arc. Earl Grey later kills him, too, after arresting him. Mr. Woodley is accused of stabbing Siemens with a sword, stabbing Sebastian with a fireplace poker, and possibly even bringing the snake that killed Phelps.

7. Mey-Rin, Bardroy, Finny, and Mr. Tanaka: suspect Mrs. White, the servant. Out of the four, only Mey-Rin is really discussed as a suspect. It’s thought she might have wanted to run off with the butler… until the butler also shows up “dead”. For a while she is still suspected as an accomplice. The servants mostly stick together, so they can be a single piece, too.

8. Lau and Ran-Mao: suspect Reverend Green/Mr. Green, the (defrocked) priest and sometime gangster. Likes to lounge around and smoke. Shows a leniency towards murder. Yep, it fits. Lau is temporarily accused of using an acupuncture needle as a weapon to kill Mr. Phelps. Again, these two people generally move as one piece.

9. Earl Grey: suspect Mrs. Peacock, the socialite/aristocrat. Filling in for Queen Victoria. The actual murderer of Mr. Siemens (on the queen’s order) and attacker of Sebastian (basically for the funsies). Not involved with Mr. Phelps’ death. Later kills Mr. Woodley, too (essentially on a whim).

10. Earl “Ciel” Phantomhive: suspect Professor Plum, the young genius and sometime gaming enthusiast. No, it’s not Arthur. It’s the earl. Read the earlier bit about this role, if you don’t know why I paired them up this way. Though, if you like, we *could* put the earl and Arthur together, since they get literally chained together for a while… and because they are trying to work out the details together….

11. Arthur (Conan Doyle) Wordsmith: could be paired with our earl, collectively, as suspect Prof. Plum. However, I see poor Arthur as the outside “player”, since he was actually just invited to figure out the facts/details. He’s also removed from the suspect list for having a firm alibi in every murder case and is placed in charge of the investigation…. Not only that, but he's the only one (besides the earl) who gets to hear the truth of Mr. Siemens' death and the attack on Sebastian.

12. Snake: no real Cluedo counterpart, since he is the true “thirteenth” suspect of the arc. Not even Sebastian expected his involvement and didn’t know his role in all this until he found Snake (and his snakes) cooped up in the greenhouse.

Well, there you have it –

Mr. Siemens was the originally intended victim (Clue’s “Mr. Boddy”) and killed by *Earl Grey* in the *wine cellar* with a *sword*. (A sword is just a big dagger, right? LOL)

Sebastian (the original Cluedo’s “Mr. Black”), was “killed” (but not really) by *Earl Grey* in the *guest room* with the *fireplace poker* (and also hit on the back of the head with it).

Mr. Phelps was killed by *Snake* in the *master bedroom* with a *snake*… but this was not connected to the original plans laid out by the queen.

Later, Mr. Woodley (framed for all the murders committed at the manor) was killed by *Earl Grey* in the *queen’s carriage* with a *sword*, though this was also not part of the original plan.

You know how the old murder mystery joke goes? The butler did it! Well, since Earl Grey is a butler to the queen… a butler really *did* do (most of) it….

  “PREGNANT ‘MAN’” (oh, right this fooled me totally—I thought it was a MAN!) – “Hayden Cross was born a girl and was legally male when he paused transgender hormone treatment to conceive using a sperm donor he had met on Facebook.” (Oh, that’s DELICIOUS! “FACEBOOK.”)

…During Wednesday night’s first Democratic presidential debate, San Antonio mayor Julián Castro stated he supports taxpayer-funded abortions for “transgender women.”  “I don’t believe only in reproductive freedom; I believe in reproductive justice,” he said.  “And what that means is just because a woman, or let’s also not forget someone in the trans community — a trans female — is poor, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t exercise that right to choose….”

…Let’s assume, however, that Castro didn’t misspeak and that he indeed supports taxpayer-funded abortions for “trans women,” which is most likely the case.  Why would Castro want taxpayers to fund something that is currently biologically impossible?  Perhaps a “trans female” is a woman who becomes a man?  Not at all.  Although progressives are constantly altering and updating terms relating to sex and sexuality to fit their current political narrative, science be damned (he who defines the terms controls the argument), the latest liberal terminology defines a “trans female” or “trans woman” as a man who “becomes” a woman.

….Now, let’s suppose, years in the future, when science has worked out all the bugs, that a man decides to undergo all the risks and grueling preparation involved with a uterine transplant (instead of simply adopting, which would be a lot easier, safer, and more sensible).  And let’s say it works, and he finally gets pregnant.  And let’s say he wakes up one morning and thinks, Hmm, I don’t think I want this baby after all.  I want to get rid of it, and I want the government to pay for it. 

In this case, I guess Julián Castro’s support for transgender abortion contains some semblance of warped logic.  Not that this highly implausible and as yet scientifically impossible scenario is worth mentioning in a presidential debate when you are already limited by time and must choose your words wisely.  And not that there are other more practical, more pressing issues to be dealt with.  But that’s what you get from a political party that wants to fund the kinds of procedures that could put babies inside men’s bodies, while simultaneously fighting for laws that would allow these same babies to get ripped out again.

America was never founded as a communist state. It was meant to be open, successful, and moral. It has been under attack by Democrat communists for a hundred years.

But—you see—they must eradicate America’s Constitution and guns to make their takeover coup successful. And that doesn;t seem likely to work out well for them.

Donald Trump has already won the 2020 election. He has “pushed” the democrats so far left, they cannot possibly sound like winners to a majority of Americans, and win.

Democrats will lose. And then they will react as never before. They will be inconsolable and uncontainable. They will march, burn, kill, “protest,” and destroy. After a while, this will not sit well—with practically everyone.

At that point Julio Castro can trot out his plea for transgender pregnant males, and all fighting and opposition will spontaneously cease, from pure joy. We will all join hands and sing the gay national anthem…or communist…or something.

A University of Mississippi theatre arts professor is giving eight students the opportunity of a lifetime to study modern dance in Cuba.

Malpaso Dance Company, one of the most sought-after Cuban dance companies, partnered with the Department of Theatre Arts and Mississippi: The Dance Company to instruct students in Oxford this month and for two weeks in Havana in December. Their work will culminate with a Jan. 27 performance alongside Malpaso at the university’s Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts.

Jennifer Mizenko had the idea of leading a class to Cuba about a year ago and has worked to put this course together since.

“I’ve always been fascinated by Cuba since it’s been so off-limits for so long,” she said. “Cuban rhythms and dance are complex, sensuous and provocative, so putting all of this together is like bringing a huge dream to life.”

Once the idea materialized, she researched dance companies and found Malpaso, which proved to be a perfect fit for the program.

Mizenko approached Julia Aubrey, director of the Ford Center, earlier this year about the possibility of sponsoring a performance by the dance company. Aubrey was immediately supportive of the initiative, which directly supports the educational goals of the Ford Center.

“I believe arts collaboration is an important aspect of the mission of the Ford Center,” Aubrey said. “Since this project involved an enhanced cultural experience for the university students and our Ford Center patrons, I accepted her proposal to share resources and contracted with the international company to present Malpaso in January 2018.

“As you see, it has taken a year of planning to make this event a reality. We have opened our doors to the dance students and the Cuban artists for rehearsals and a performance that celebrates the importance of the arts as an international language understood by all peoples.”

Osnel Delgado, Malpaso’s artistic director, one of the company’s founders and professor of dance studies at the National Dance School of Havana, will teach participating students a new and original work during International Education Week, Nov. 13-17. The dance company will rehearse with students throughout the week and also visit other courses to promote international education.

Alexis Boucugnani, a sophomore theatre arts major from Athens, Georgia; Madeleine Bradley, junior exercise science major from Memphis; Maddy Friedman, freshman elementary education major from Madison, Wisconsin; Mary Lacy Lusk, junior general studies major from Troy, Alabama; Rachel McKellar, junior English major from Purvis; Makenzie Menaker, freshman general studies major from Mobile, Alabama; Lydia Myers, junior theatre arts major from Laurel; and Victoria Penegor, sophomore mathematics major from Breckenridge, Colorado, each auditioned for a slot in the two-week course.

Students will live with Cuban families for two weeks, Dec. 9-23, while studying in Havana. They will spend several hours rehearsing each day while also learning about the history of Cuban rhythm, taking a salsa class, visiting museums and touring Old Havana.

“I’ve been a dancer since I was 2, and I have trained in just about every style, but Cuban modern dance is really unique,” Menaker said. “I feel like I’m about to learn a whole new dance style that will add to my repertoire and help me grow as a dancer.”

Though students will study primarily dance technique, they also will be assigned reading while in Cuba and will be asked to reflect on how the movement they are studying reflects the country and its culture.

“I’ve always provided guest artists for my students and I always want to challenge them with new things,” Mizenko said. “I wanted to step up the game and include an element of studying another culture and its customs, social mores, politics and also dance.”

They also will have opportunities to work with Delgado’s parents and Cuban dance icons Esteban Delgado Betancourt and Idania Wambrug Rodriguez. Betancourt was a dancer with Danza Contemporanea Cuba for more than 15 years, and Rodriguez is a teacher at the National Dance School of Havana.

Mizenko hopes the students, who are from all different majors and backgrounds, will develop a greater understanding of professional dance and a choreographer’s vision, as well develop a greater independence and awareness of living and working in a different culture.

Even though travel is open between the United States and Cuba, the process of putting an entire course together remains more difficult than if traveling to other countries. U.S. citizens still need to secure visas through one of 12 reasons to travel to Cuba – in this case, education.

“‘Dance in Cuba’ is the first faculty-directed program to Cuba for the University of Mississippi, and the Study Abroad Office is proud to offer such a unique opportunity to our students,” said Blair McElroy, UM interim senior international officer and director of Study Abroad. “Professor Mizenko’s vision and enthusiasm for the program has been inspiring.”

The Study Abroad Office has worked closely with International Studies Abroad, a study abroad program provider that has assisted in implementing this program.

“ISA has been working on custom programs in Cuba for many years, so we were confident that they would be a strong partner to assist us with the logistics of the program,” McElroy said.

ISA has paired students with host families, assisted with securing travel visas, arranged transportations and planned educational excursions for the group.

With the exponential rise of technology for the past decades, the reality of automation of labor has become increasingly real. Along with it, the progress of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has increased drastically in this age where computing and programming have central roles in the technological spotlight. It is not uncommon to already see cases of AI designs which aim to be autonomous, such as the idea of self-driving cars, who would ideally be able to choose the best situation given a dilemma where human lives are at stake. However, for all of our society’s advances in the field, the very fundamental question of how should we program AI still remains unanswered. Who should have such key responsibility, and what type of human qualities are we really looking to instill in AI? Should we aim for human qualities at all?

These are the ideas that inspire our group’s interest and fascination in the subject. Through the lense of social media, such as was the case of Microsoft’s disastrous AI “Tay”, our goal is to explore the implications of AI for the future of both media and society, and the accompanying responsibilities we have as a society during the rise of this future technology. We will deal primarily with three subjects which are the debate between open source AI development and privatized AI development, AI within the context of the gaze, and the AI context within ‘truth’ and subjectivity.

One of the features core to the analysis of media is the subjectivity of a work. Individuals often apply their own meaning to a work to make it more than it really is. Consider Salvador Dali’s “Galatea of the Spheres.” To some it is simply an image of a woman constructed from abstract spheres: an interesting visual, but nothing more. Yet, others will assign meaning to it as they realize its statement of a meld between science and religion, a marriage of the Virgin Mary and the atomic world. (Teixidor) However, it would seem strange for something as mathematically oriented as artificial intelligence to be assigned subjective meaning. After all, a painting such as Dali’s purposely has no complete truth. The truth is in the eye of the beholder, but such subjectivity could not be applied to an AI which only possesses one truth.

The very notion explained above outlines why the actions of AIs are subjective. People will perceive their outputs as truth, when in actuality, AIs do not create truth any more than an artist trying to represent her opinion on a canvas. In truth, AIs are only a manipulation of data, and are subject to the statistical techniques and data given to it. Yet, people will assign meaning to AIs when there is none there, and that meaning can go both ways: “On the one hand, people may trust automation even when it is not appropriate… On the other hand, people are not always willing to put sufficient trust in automation.” (Lee) Additionally with certain algorithms, further interpretation is needed. Take a clustering algorithm that, given a data set, will deduce various characteristics and group items based on those characteristics. It is then up to the human operator to subjectively determine what the groupings mean.

A more modern subject in the analysis of works of media is gaze. Gaze builds upon the subjectivity of media, but more specifically explores the perspective of the artist creating the work and what is assumed of the viewer. It was first coined in 1975 to discuss male gaze, but has since expanded to be used as a tool for all demographics. To use male gaze as an example, often times works of media - especially advertising - will portray women in sexualized positions, and for these examples, male gaze is employed as the audience and the creator are probably coming from a male perspective.

Artificial intelligence applies an interesting twist to the idea of the gaze. With the introduction of AI there is a third intelligent party added to the creator and the consumer. One may be able to assert that the AI has its own gaze or at least plays an intermediary role that contorts the original intention of the creator. There is no better example of this in action than a slip up by the object recognition algorithm on top of Google Images. This algorithm was designed to recognize the subject of an image and label them for easy search. But, the algorithm began recognizing people of African descent as gorillas. It turns out that the cause was an inadequate training set for humans which contained mostly people of European and Asian descent, which happens to be the major demographic of Google developers. As noted by Miroslav Kubat and Stan Matwin, “Adding majority examples to a training set can have a detrimental effect on the learner’s behaviour.” I’m sure that the engineers at Google did not intentionally want to cause this mislabeling, but, through AI their gaze was revealed.

In the limelight of artificial intelligence, I would like to discuss the cultural influence of the intelligent algorithms have on society. Although Theodor Adorno and Max Horkheimer’s message on the emerging crisis of cultural deception pertains to the era during World War Two, the substance that they discuss is still relevant to the matters of the world today, including ethics concerning the usage of machine learning in culture. In Alexander Markowetz’s paper “Psycho-informatics: big data shaping modern psychometrics,” he outlines the defined goals of a Big Data applications, which is “either attempt to (i) detect hitherto unknown trends and patterns, or (ii) ‘‘learn’’ new properties about known entities” (Markowetz 407).  Using both techniques, researchers and companies can discern patterns in behaviour and people in general. While there are benefits to this wealth of knowledge, the ethical aspects of the Big Data must not be ignored as well.

In reference to the recent boom in psychometrics due to Cambridge Analytica (a software company that helped Ted Cruz and Donald Trump in the 2016 election), the usage of these private information to manipulate and distort public perception deserves a question of ethical approach. While software giants today mainly mine your digital footprint for recommendation systems of products and media, Cambridge Analytica uses their algorithms to “anticipate the needs of your customers and predict how their behavior will change over time, so you can build services, products and campaigns they really love."  Using their personality profiles, the software company claims to tailor to needs of the consumer. All of these concerns are part of Adorno and Horkheimer’s message: that the cultural industry retains a monopoly through creating uniformity in culture.
