The 4th Annual Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer New Year's Eve Stream!

Yes, it's happening again! It's just after 7pm central, and we're going to go until the last one of us strikes midnight. Lots of people will be jumping in and out, including old faces & new! (I'm straight-up plagiarizing @eponymous-rose's post here and not even TRYING to hide it).

The 5th Annual Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer New Year's Eve Extravaganza!

It's that time again! What better way to ring in 2025 than with some co-op sci-fi shenanigans? Starting at 4 PM Pacific (about 40 minutes from when this post goes live), we’re going to keep going for about eight hours, until the clock strikes midnight for me - there will be a fun bunch of folks jumping in and out, old faces and new, and plenty of Happy New Years to be wished!

Yes, the Mass Effect Multiplayer servers are still up! I’ve been playing it regularly on Xbox since 2012 – my last game was yesterday and we were still getting full lobbies of players (public games) on the Bronze, Silver and Gold difficulties. (I didn’t play any Platinum yesterday, but whenever I have there still have been some of those games going – even in 2023!)

So, the mass effect 3 multiplayer servers are still up and NO ONE TOLD ME!!!!!!!

It is only on the original mass effect 3 copy of the game (not legendary). And I played it on PC through origin (bf played it through steam which is also through origin lol). Not sure if the servers are up on console but I hope they are!

I am three years late replying to this (sorry!) but MEEEEEEEEE I still play ME3 Multiplayer and there’s still lots of us who do! Sorry I didn’t check the tags and see this (years) earlier!

do you know if anybody still plays the multiplayer for mass effect 3 or A?

from personal experience, no, but! I did find a reddit subforum (r/MECoOp) that was still actively posting about playing multiplayer in both games. so if you’re looking to play, you might be in luck / you could try posting there to set up a game ?

i have only played titanfall 2 for a day and damn i'm obsessed with it. I played the campaign and loved it and then since i couldn't get enough and went and did multiplayer and really enjoyed it even if i'm terrible? also even if i knew the ending before playing i still got super attached to BT and that hurt. now i need something else to play bc i don't think i can get back into mass effect quite yet.
