i don't know if i'd say that the ace attorney soundtrack is the best video game soundtrack, but i'd honestly say it's the most effective. Like, working with the hardware and storage limitations of the time, it does an incredible job at producing a mood.

Like-- the beginning of the trial music. This is such a strong opener. It really makes you feel like shits about to go DOWN.

Or the classic revelation music. Like. We are on the rise and im going to GET YOU. it's so good.

or the EVEN MORE gonna get you tracks.

even the goofy shit is just. so good at doing what it's supposed to do.

I think that's the core of its effectiveness. Everything just slides into place in the soundtrack. It's simple, but it works. Even looking at the track lengths, all of them are around 1-2 minutes with a few exceptions for some more melodic and dramatic pieces and maya and mia's themes.

Travelers, you are about to be part of the trial of the century: The United Planets v. Rex Brickowski.

The charges are numerous. Treason. Attempted world ending. At least five of those are Grand Theft Time Machine. It's even said that there is video evidence lasting almost an hour and a half. Point is, Chief Blaise Starhawk looks to keep RJ in prison until the next Armommageddon.

Chiffon Limonata and Dr. Melody Bunny wish to stop that. They have been given the unenviable task of defending someone who has all the cards stacked against them.

[Case open. Case shut. But you could pay to close it like a casket.]

Here's where you come in, travelers. In around a week (July 5th to 12th), you can interact with the following characters in asks and posts:

Casey "Former Master Frown" Underwood, lead attorney for Meraki, appointed by Unitron

Provide evidence. Provide moral support. Send Ace Attorney memes. Throughout the week, you will see the courtroom chaos, hear the testimony. Call out contradictions in the evidence and testimony for whichever side you are on.

The judge for this trial, the honourable Ness Quik is presiding. The whole universe is watching this trial, the first from Operation: Clean Sweep.
