I was camping for the majority of the week, so I’m doing these a little late

Sorry it isn’t the best of quality. It was my first time using this kind of pen. Anyway, this is my very late attempt at the second day’s prompt, Mirrored.

Happy First Marxolor Week!!

It's July 16th now and we'd like to thank everyone so much for a successful Marxolor Week 2024! As a huge fan of these two clowns, seeing a fresh outpouring of love for the trickster duo every day for a whole week was a dream come true!!

While the week itself has come to a close, we'll still be accepting Marxolor Week content all the way till August, so there's plenty of time to catch up if you've still got days left on your week - or if you want to get started, in case other obligations have kept you busy!

As for how late submissions will work, we'll be keeping an eye out on the tag and set up any new entries to post beginning each new week starting Tuesday! IE: Every week is like a mini Marxolor Week!

Day 3: Cunning / Magic

"How cunning those magic artifacts really were"

Marx and Magolor didn't get what they bargained for from artifacts they 'played' with. They gained new powers, but were left with scars both mental and physical.

I decided to go with the Master Crown's tree form for the imagery here. The idea was that the artifacts basically tricked them. Magolor and Marx had to fight to escape the grasps of them and ended up in each other's loving grasp.

Told you I wasn't leaving Marx out~

I wanted to incorporate the paint from that one attack Marx Soul uses, since it would contrast pretty nicely with the Master Crown's... uh, influence. It also, of course, looks a lot creepier than Magolor does when they're swapped.

My Marx drops his hat onto my au's version of a Noddy: a two legged hedgehog looking thing. Not many predators mess with these because they are filled with a narcoleptic toxin, allowing them to nap without concern.

Because, err, I'm actually going to be somewhat busy for the first week of July (going to AX >w< ) and I wanted to know if we want to have a Marxolor week that ENDS July 9th or STARTS July 9th?!

(That way I know how much time I have to plan ahead ^^; )

Author's note: Sometimes they dont need to say anything, they will understand.

Also headcanon: even if Marx is the touchy type, he actually is more shy in this kind of ambience (based mostly in the Love issue of Itsudemo Kirby) and Magolor... well he is no so up front when is about his sentiments. Chaotic thoughts inside them.

Marxolor Week Day 5: Control

I mean, come on. Every time there's a pair of characters, the question of what would happen if they switched places comes up.

Marx Soul is a lot more like the original Marx than Magolor Soul, so I wanted this alternate version of Magolor to resemble his normal self more than usual. But it has some elements of Nightmare and Dark Matter Swordsman, too... that was honestly an accident, but it feels fitting.
