The Joys of Last.fm
John Voorhees, writing at MacStories: There are a million questions that could be answered by Apple Music that aren’t, and that’s a shame. Spotify does a better job at surfacing interesting data with Wrapped, but if you’re like me and prefer other aspects of Apple Music, sign up for Last.fm, use one of the many excellent indie apps, like Marvis Pro, Soor, Albums, Longplay, Doppler, and Air Scrobblethat support the service, and then enjoy your weekly, monthly, and annual reports in Last.fm’s app or on its website. I 100% agree. Not only does Last.fm let you look into the data whenever you want, but you can also have your entire year of listening history at your disposal. And past years. There’s never a better time to start scrobbling than now, and the end of the year is a great time to begin collecting the data. I use Marvis on iOS and Neptunes on the Mac and am happy with both. Passed the 100k scrobble mark this year and set a new personal record for number of songs listened to. --- Please consider becoming a member so we can keep bringing you stories like this one. ◎ https://chorus.fm/linked/the-joys-of-last-fm/

ENDING THE DAY STRONG w/ DEFTONES
There’s something about this song that will never get old to me. It’s an ageless wonder. It almost always feel like the first time that I’ve heard it. It’s such a potent feeling that moves all throughout the listener.
The lyrical content is amazing, it’s poetry, and it’s further amplified by the delivery. Chino and the guys make me want to drive around in the middle of the night. It has that effect.

helo my dudes
due to popular demand (aka @spot-the-brooklyn-pirate sending in one (1) ask) I’m making a post about my favorite thing in the world, brush pens!
okay so basically I’m gonna describe each pen, list my personal pros and cons, and probably send amazon links so y’all know what each pen is called and such
up 1st:
the tombow dual brush pen. it’s all over the place, it’s the one you’ll always hear about. and it’s fine, not my favorite, not my least favorite. they do wear out quickly, even though they’re expensive, so that’s something to look out for.
https://www.amazon.com/Tombow-56185-Markers-10-Pack-Blendable/dp/B00JVB8FBA/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=tombow+dual+brush+pen&qid=1568076675&s=office-products&sr=1-4
Tumblr media
crayola supertips/crayola broadline
so these you can both use for hand lettering, I’d recommending a watching a few youtube videos on it, ‘cuz you have to like rotate the pen and stuff, but it’s not that hard to do. plus they’re cheap and you can get them easily! and there’s lots of colors
https://www.amazon.com/Crayola-Washable-Markers-Favorite-Toddlers/dp/B00M4YUE0G/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=OAXVS1IEPGUW&keywords=crayola+supertips&qid=1568064270&s=gateway&sprefix=crayola+super%2Caps%2C150&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExUUpSTDhNVEtFU1NUJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDM1MDMwMUFVRVVCQUxHSTZBWSZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNTgzOTk5MkFSRlZRSVlNUzdVOSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
Tumblr media
okay so next is the pentel fude touch. these are small, so a lot of people say they’re easier to control. I like them ‘cuz you can practice without using like 100 sheets of paper. they’re kinda expensive so I’d either only get a small set, to see if you like them, or wait until they’re on sale or something. also don’t take them camping because sand does not do good things to brush pens.
These are one of my most favorite!!!
https://www.amazon.com/Pentel-Assorted-Colors-Marker-SES15CPC12/dp/B01EN0HCH6/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=pentel+fude+touch&qid=1568064255&s=gateway&sr=8-2
Tumblr media
this is the tombow fudenouske, it’s also a small brush pen, but it’s stiffer than the pentel ones, so I personally like it more. you have to press down harder to get a thick stroke, but it makes it a lot easier to get super thin strokes. I had two at one point, (they make a hard tip and a soft tip, and all the colored ones are hard tips) but they dried out, so that is one downside to these.
It’s really good, but I’m not sure about how quickly it’s gonna dry out.
https://www.amazon.com/Tombow-Fudenosuke-WS-BH10C-Assorted-Calligraphy/dp/B07MYDWKTZ/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=1XFLYO42WV4NC&keywords=tombow+fudenosuke+brush+pen&qid=1568064237&s=gateway&sprefix=tombow+fuden%2Caps%2C149&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=A2M8Y98W2SLYUL&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzSVdJUU5URk0xTzgzJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUExMDEzNDY0MzNWNU1aRkU4WDFZOSZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNDEyNTIxNDgzV0M3QlNYSlBPJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
Tumblr media
these are the zebra mildliner brush pens, be careful to make sure you’re buying the brush pens ‘cuz they also make highlighters which look pretty similar. these are really good, they’re kinda like the tombow dual brush pens, but I think they’re a bit easier to control. they make the same sized lettering, though.
These are pretty darn good!
https://www.amazon.com/Zebra-Pen-Mildliner-Highlighter-Assorted/dp/B0752WWCTN/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=2G8GRET2VZDGJ&keywords=mildliner+brush+pens&qid=1568064222&s=gateway&sprefix=mildliner%2Caps%2C152&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyUzJCNDI2WjFUWTFVJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNjIyMDQ1M1E3M1dKV1RGQTBNSiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjY2MzUyMlNXS05PSEo2MDRHVSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
Tumblr media
okay last but not least, these are the marvy colorin brush pens, I really like these. they make a bit smaller lettering than the tombows, and they’re really bouncy and good.
These are my favorite brush pen for larger lettering!!!
https://www.amazon.com/UCHIDA-ColorIn-Marker-Bright-Colors/dp/B01HUJQAL6/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2VGC240NSDM9O&keywords=marvy+uchida+colorin&qid=1568064194&s=gateway&sprefix=marvey+uchida+colo%2Caps%2C147&sr=8-2
Tumblr media
so obviously brush pens are important but you’ve also gotta practice a lot, and youtube is really good for helping you learn, so channels like Ensign Insights and How To Hand Letter are really good, plus they know more about pens than me and they have really good detailed reviews.

Studio Series
TUL (brand that is specific to Office Depot / Office Max)
*most arteza pens will be identified using names that I’ve assigned to each color. The color names are either granted by the cap color of the marker or the ink color.
Alcohol based color duplicates: list of brands
Prismacolor Markers
Copic Markers
Tombow ABT Pro Markers
Chameleon Markers
Spectrum Noir Markers
Winsor Newton Promarker
Art Advantage Markers

On an additional note, any personal insights on color duplicates (for brands unlisted from here) would be much appreciated! I haven’t been able to see what alcohol marker brands are on Amazon these days, so I haven’t catalogued any of them.

BRITA sodaONE campaign  by Freundschaft
Tumblr media
Since October, a campaign of a new BRITA product - sodaONE water saturator -  has been launched on the Polish market. The spot together with the concept was prepared entirely przez Freundschaft,  the agency is also responsible for its production.
The ad is part of a creative platform featuring brand ambassador actress Olga Frycz.  The communication strategy is based on the concept of a healthy life,  well-being and at the same time care for the natural environment, which refers to the value of the brand.
The spot was originally prepared for European markets such as Germany, France and Belgium and launched last year. This  year, due to the postponement of the  introduction of the new product, it was also broadcast in Poland.  At the same time, since October, campaigns of other BRITA products as part of the autumn campaign have been underway on other markets, based on spots and photo sessions, prepared in cooperation from Freundschaft.
This is another spot with Olga Frycz, which has already hit several European markets last year, and since October it has also been broadcast in Poland. As in thefront, we are pleased to observe how our original concept defends itself not only on our home market, but also on others. This time we are introducing a new product BRITA sodaONE, which, in addition to reducing the use of plastic, also allows you to enjoy filpoisoned water with bubbles."
Monika Szadkowska, group account director Friendship

The Freundschaft Group consists of three specialized brands Freundschaft, Freundschaft The Digitals and Freundschaft Commerce, creating marketing communication - from marketing platforms, through online content (social, video, influencer & gaming marketing) and live experience, to pro-sales performance  activities. Together with LTTM (the largest influencer marketing and gaming group in the region) and IQS (the fifth research agency in Polska) they belong to the Mediacap SA holding.
Zhejiang Hongfeng Precision Co., Ltd. specializes in the production of soda maker. It has two major brands, MARVIS and YOCOSODA, and has strong core competitiveness in the R&D, design and manufacturing of soda maker.

My wish list for iOS 16
We’re coming up on one of favorite events of the year, WWDC. And as a fairly new iPhone user (November 2021), I have some thoughts on what I want to see from with iOS this WWDC. Many of them are going to be things that Apple probably won’t add, and that’s fine. I just felt like writing about it.
1. Proper sideloading support. Sideloading is something Android has supported for a long time now, and it’s allowed a slew of great apps that might not have otherwise found their way onto the Google Play Store to make it into the hands of many people. YouTube Vanced (rip), Newpipe, and entire app stores like F-Droid are great examples of this. Apple has been threatened with regulation on multiple occasions that may force them to make it an option, and I welcome that regulation. Apple’s position on this has remained firm, and they have argued against allowing sideloading. They claim it puts users at risk to vastly more malware, and while there is a nugget of truth to this, I still believe that proper warnings along with making users jump through a reasonable amount of hoops will be mostly fine. Just make it work the same way it does on Android. You enable it in settings; it warns you of the risk, then it gives you another warning when you try to install something. People who don’t know what they’re doing get warned, and more advanced users have the freedom to install whatever they want on their devices. There are solutions for sideloading on iOS today, Sideloadly and Altstore being the most popular ones. But they come with a multitude of restrictions and inconveniences that make it a pain to use sideloaded only apps. Jailbreaking makes it easier, but you may not want to do that for a variety of reasons. It’s a terrible experience overall and Apple should change it. Hopefully regulation comes soon, because I don’t think Apple will change willingly. (Sorry for the rant, next points will be more concise) 2. Allow us to set the lock screen buttons to other actions. Camera and flashlight are fine presets (although you can just open the camera by swiping left on the lock screen), but imagine if we could set them to other things. Imagine if you could set it to open any app you wanted, or even to certain shortcuts from the Shortcuts app. There are lots of possibilities for this. 3. Open up the Apple Music API to allow third party apps to do more stuff. This is a bit more personal to me and I know it won’t matter to other people, but I just want to remove songs from my library on Marvis Pro. Lyrics support Marvis without having to install another app would be cool too.
4. I should be able to clear app cache from the settings app. Right now, if I want to clear cache on a certain app, I have to hope that the developer added an option to do so within the app. That is not how it should work. I should be able to go to settings, select the app from the list, and hit a button that says, “Clear cache”. 5. Apple apps should update from the App Store. It’s ridiculous that I have to wait for entire iOS updates for minor changes to Apple Music, Messages, the watch app, etc. Android does this, and it works well. The only reason I can think of for why they do this is because they want to have filler for what would be/are pretty small updates.  6. Revamp notifications. iOS notifications get the job done, but I don’t think there’s too many other good things I can say about them. They need to be revamped. -Make it so they don’t disappear from the lock screen after unlocking my phone. -Make them easier to swipe away. Most of the time I have to swipe twice. -Categorize them better. -Show me quick action options without having to long press on the notification. And probably a couple of other things I’m forgetting. 7. Make Siri better. Siri is notorious for being one of the dumbest virtual assistants out there. She often fails at answering basic questions and everyone who’s used Siri before knows this. I’m sure we’ll see announcements about how many more questions she can answer now or something, but it won’t be enough. I guess we’ll have to settle with a mediocre assistant for now. 8. A real back gesture.  This one isn’t long or complicated. The current back gesture only works from one side and doesn’t always work perfectly. Just copy the Android back gesture and it’ll be fine.  9. iPad-like multitasking. Split screen and being able to pull the dock up from any app would be nice. I don’t see myself using split screen that much personally, but I’m not opposed to it being added. 10. Improved stock keyboard Haptic feedback, a clipboard, optional number row, and height adjustment would be great. That’s mostly it. I’m sure I’ll be mad at myself later for missing something, but whatever. I also just want to say that I don’t hate or even dislike iOS. I prefer it to Android and I could write a whole other post going into my reasons. I wrote this post because I care about iOS and this stuff is just interesting to me.  Thank you for reading and have a great rest of your day.

Wow the music nerd in me and my infinite hours thanks to the beautiful end of day light savings time found this other app that is fucking amazing!
https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/albums-album-focused-player/id1469948986
Meet: Albums, a music playing app focused on playing an entire album!
That may not sound special to you but I can’t negate the magic of just chilling out and vibing to a whole album in this day and age. There’s no algorithms feeding you stuff. Not much to customize. It ignores playlists, all the other things about streaming services they want you to buy into, it clears the noise and presents just the albums in your library on your service, for you to listen to, in their entirety plus a host of complementary features!
Remember the original iTunes music app on your first iPhone? Remember how you’d turn it sideways and it would show you your music in a grid view? This app seeks to sort of recreate that experience as well.
I love finding new music apps to nerd out with. If you’re reading this as a redirect from my Twitter then you know how much I love Marvis Pro. It’s my number 1 favourite music app. I gush about it all the time. It has reconnected me with music in a way I haven’t experienced since the introduction of streaming services.
This is a beautiful addition to the cannon of apps that seek to provide a unique music engagement experience.
My fave feature off this new app is the fact that they go into the past and show you the albums that were released on this day numerous years ago.
I’m currently listening to one of my favourite Joni Mitchell albums The Hissing of Summer Lawns, which came out on November 1st in 1975. It’s a truly beautiful record. Peep the app’s layout tho:
Tumblr media
The app looks mad clean...
Catch my other favourite things about this app:
Look at the data available!!!! ^ I nerded tf out when I saw those features.
You can hit up each musician’s name to see what other albums they’ve worked on and learn who played what.. so if you want to geek out some more over who played the beautiful horn section on The Boho Dance you can! It’s seriously dope.
Plus, the app UI takes on the colour scheme of the album... this shit is for the true music nerds of the bunch
The Anniversaries element of this app is something unique and interesting, but I’ll save that magic for those who get the app to experience on their own; I just wanna say that I’m having fun with it and I wanted to share.

Kennen Sie andere bessere Dienste?

Betting Trade added the card Mike Tysons Best Knockouts to the Mike Tyson’s Best Knockouts list in the BettingTrade board at November 27, 2020 at 09:18AM Mike Tyson’s Best Knockouts https://www.ladbrokes.com.au/blog/2020/11/27/mike-tysons-best-knockouts/ This weekend we will see the return of the most vicious knockout artist that the world has ever seen when Mike Tyson takes on Roy Jones Junior in Los Angeles. He may be 54 years old but the former Heavyweight champion of the world looks in incredible shape as seen in social media posts leading into this eight round exhibition fight on Sunday (AEDT). Tyson burst onto the boxing scene in 1985, finishing 12 of his first first 16 professional fight by knockout in the first round! He became the youngest ever Heavyweight champion of the world when he beat Trevor Berbick at just 20 years of age and eventually finished his career with 50 wins from 58 fights with 44 of those wins coming via KO. We’ve taken a look back at the incredible career of ‘Iron’ Mike and listed his best knockouts all in the one place. Bet Now: Mike Tyson v Roy Jones Jnr Marvis Frazier For the first couple of years that Mike Tyson was a pro, it was a blood bath. Tyson had been fighting for many years when his coach Cus D’amato decided he was ready to go professional and many of his opponents simply were not ready for the power that Tyson had. This made for some pretty lacklustre finishes where many simply crawled up into a ball once they had taken enough punishment. Joe Frazier’s son, Marvis, has built an impressive record of 16-1 when he took on Tyson in July of 1986. The fight lasted thirty seconds and was ended in brutal fashion. Trevor Berbick Tyson became the youngest Heavyweight champion of all time in 1986 when he dethroned Trevor Berbick by knocking him out clean in the second round. A new era was born. Frank Bruno 2 This one was never going the distance. To his credit, Englishman Frank Bruno was trading punches with Tyson admirably when they fought in 1989 for the first time only to lose via TKO in the fifth round. Tyson would regain the WBC Heavyweight title that he lost to Buster Douglas six years previous via a TKO in the third round through sheer punching power. Steve Zouski Poor Steve Zouski. He literally ate the canvas in round three of his fight when Tyson was fighting every second week on his way to his world title. Reggie Gross My personal favourite knockout of Iron Mike’s came against Reggie Gross. Gross threw everything but the kitchen sink at Tyson in the first round with Tyson dodging and weaving every single punch. Then he let fly that brutal left hook. Larry Holmes With Muhammad Ali ringside, Mike Tyson retained all three of his Heavyweight titles against the legend Larry Holmes in 1988. It was the only KO loss that Holmes suffered in 75 professional bouts. Peter McNeeley Peter McNeeley promised to ‘wrap Tyson in a cocoon’ before their 1995 bout in Las Vegas. He came out like a raging bull only to be knocked down twice inside a minute and a half. His trainer stopped any further damage by jumping in the ring which lead to a DQ. McNeeley then had an excuse for the rest his life and he also got paid. Smart. Henry Tillman Fresh off losing his WBA, WBC and IBF titles to Buster Douglas in the biggest upset in boxing history, Mike wanted revenge. Henry Tillman was the poor bastard that took the brunt of Tyson’s disappointment and anger. In 2:47 mins of the first round. Francois Botha After almost two years away from the sport following his suspension for his DQ against Evander Holyfield, Tyson fought South African Francois Botha. He looks slow and lacklustre in the opening few rounds and had many worried he was not the same fighter. Then he went BAM with a clean straight right. This is the single hardest punch I have ever seen. You can hit me on my flip phone, baby
Tellin' all your friends, oh baby
You told them I needed my space
Like it's 2008, oh, baby
But you can hit me on my Razor, I've been getting faded
AOL ain't working baby, our connections breaking, oh
I just hope that you know
But listen, I've been going crazy thinkin' 'bout you, baby
We look good together just like Britney Spears and JT
Hit me on my messenger and tell me that you hate me
Texting all these other boys and it's driving me crazy
Umm, okay like, man, what the fuck?
Tell me that you needed space, when I'm home all alone and I miss your face
When that ringtone hits I feel okay but I'm—
Done with all that acting shit 'cause I'm constantly thinking about how bad you is
I'm in a chat room simpin' to all my friends
And they "Lol XD" like "Ga$p a bitch"
But I'm—
Wait, oh, she hate me?
Huh, fillin' up my inbox crazy
One day mad, then the shit's okay
Tony Hawk Pro Skater how she hit a 180
Umm, really you could hit me up and I could act like I really couldn't give a fuck
But when my cellphone rings, and a new boy sing you can best believe that I'ma pick it up, yuh
You can hit me on my flip phone, baby
Tellin' all your friends, oh baby
You told them I needed my space
Like it's 2008, oh, baby
But you can hit me on my Razor, I've been getting faded
AOL ain't working baby, our connections breaking, oh
I just hope that you know
