AU where Marvin isn’t a fucking dick, accepts he’s gay much earlier, tells Trina before they get married, and they become iconic gay man/straight woman lavender marriage besties who set each other up on dates.

Who am I kidding Marvin would never be capable of that.

I’ve changed my mind I need this is my life. Jason is still born because he’s my favourite, maybe Marvin only gets around to accepting himself after Trina and him married for a bit. Whizzer comes into the picture earlier, as does Mendel, Marvin and Trina are fucking besties as they should be (they are so similar I need to make a whole post on that) and the TKF raises Jason and everyone is happy and no one has trauma.

I JUST started a falsettos fic that will take me roughly twenty years to finish I can’t be getting brain worms like this…

Fr it's like his favourite word. No synonyms, just groin every time. He's nothing if not consistent in this very specific word choice...

Kinda love it tho. Like it shapes his characterisation – he's the kid obsessed with Groin. It's crude but not very bold. Cringe & cacophonous

The only time Marvin uses a different word for the same body part is when he says 'penis' in tromg (between groin 3 & 4). Otherwise he just doesn't name it

Marvin, repressed as he is, is both very weird & somewhat restrained. He's so strange. He can't say the word himself the first couple times, then he says it during a temper tantrum, then no one says it because it's too indiscreet, then he trades it for a more explicit word when he's incredibly self-loathingly trying to be aggressively heterosexual, then he goes back to his usual word, and then he fixates on it for a moment before never mentioning it again. WHY AM I READING INTO THIS
