Tee Higgins 3 touchdowns, keep Bengals playoff hopes alive, beating Broncos 24-30 in overtime

The Cincinnati Bengals did what they needed to do to keep their playoff hopes alive, and with Tee Higgins hauling three touchdowns and a game-winning snag in overtime, the game's dramatic ending is more than a word.
Cincinnati led Denver 7-3 at halftime in what looked like a low-scoring game. Cade Rok kicked a 22-yard field goal in the third quarter to extend Cincinnati's lead to 10-3. Not long after, the Broncos answered with Bo Nix throwing a six-yard score to Cortland Sutton, tying the game at 10-10.
In the 4th quarter, both teams combined for 28 points, Joe Burrow finding Tee Higgins for a 12-yard score, making the score 17-10; Nix showed off his arm, bombing a 51-yard touchdown pass to Marvin Mims Jr. to tie the game 17-17.
Late in the fourth quarter, Bo Nix and the Broncos offense were back out on the field. With 2:38 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Nix threw an interception to Bengals' Germaine Pratt. Joe Burrow scored on a one-yard touchdown, taking a 24-17 lead with 1:30 left in the game.
However, this did not stop Nix, as he led the Broncos from the 30-yard line all the way to the Bengals' 25-yard line. With 14 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Nix found Marvin Mims Jr. again for 25 yards, pushing the game into overtime.
The Bengals were left on the edge of their seats on their second drive of overtime. On 3rd and 3 at the Broncos' 15-yard line, head coach Zach Taylor decided to wrap the game up early with a 33-yard field goal on 3rd down by Cade York, only for the field goal to doink off the left upright and be no good.
Denver never had much luck on the next drive, going three and out with -1 total yards.
Cincinnati's next drive took them all the way to the Broncos' 3-yard line. Burrow found Tee Higgins in the end zone for Higgins's third touchdown of the day.
Bengals Running back Chase Brown left the game in the 4th quarter with an ankle injury and did not return.
With this win, the Bengals kept their playoff hope alive, moving to 8–8 on the year. The Broncos dropped to 9-7 on the year with one more game left next week.
Joe Burrow played one of his best games of the year despite being sacked seven times (tying a career-high of being sacked in a single game). Burrow threw for 412 yards and three touchdowns on 39 completions. Tee Higgins caught 11 passes for 131 yards and three touchdowns, while Ja'Marr Chase caught 9 passes for 102 yards. Chase Brown carried the ball 20 times for 67 yards with 4 catches for 24 yards before leaving the game with an ankle injury.
Bo Nix started off slow but pushed the game into overtime, completing 24 of his 31 passes for 219 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Marvin Mims had a career night, catching 8 passes for 103 yards and 2 touchdowns, and Cortland Sutton caught 5 passes for 55 yards and a touchdown.
Both Teams look to steal the final playoff spot next week. Denver hosts the Kansas City Chiefs, who have the #1 seed in the AFC playoffs locked up. The Bengals travel to Pennsylvania to play the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have also clinched a playoff spot in the AFC but look to steal the AFC North Title.

Well, I need to admit another error. For his entire career at Oklahoma I criticized Marvin Mims for just being fast and not having elite speed like Dede Westbrook, Jeff Badet, and Hollywood Brown. Devonta Smith speed where on every play the defense and the fans knew a player could score. But here he showed up in the 4.3's.

🤍 + Raeya e Mimi
𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐄 🤍 + 𝐀 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐈’𝐋𝐋 𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐋 𝐘𝐎𝐔…
𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫?
mimi que chega cheia de dengo pra raeya, certeza!!! raeya sai, miyeon aproveita o momento pra criar mimos aleatóros pra raeya!
𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬?
𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 / 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠?
nenhuma das duas ousa, infelizmente :(( APESAR DE QUE imagino a mimi dando softs toques na mão da raeya em público. what if we hold hands...?, perguntando toda quieitinha pra raeya, que nem consegue considerar a ideia, tadica.
𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭?

Sean Payton: Broncos Made 'Right' Decision Not Going for 2 in Loss to Burrow, Bengals | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors | masr356.com
AAron Ontiveroz/The Denver Post The Denver Broncos lost Saturday’s thriller against the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime but could have won it in regulation had head coach Sean Payton decided to go for the two-point conversion after Marvin Mims Jr.’s stunning touchdown catch with eight seconds remaining. However, Payton kicked the extra point to force the extra period and told reporters after the…

Bo Nix, Broncos survive the Jameis Winston and Browns with two pick sixes.
Tumblr media
By: BenJarmin Munguia
date: December 3rd, 2024
Browns quarterback Jameis Winston threw for 497 yards and 4 touchdowns, but unfortunately, in Browns fashion, they didn't win.
The Denver Broncos defeated the Cleveland Browns in a shootout, 32-41. Winston threw four touchdowns and three interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns, helping Denver secure their victory.
The first interception return for a touchdown happened with 98 seconds left in the first half. Linebacker Nik Bonitto picked off Winston and returned it 71 yards to the endzone. Winston did manage to get Cleveland back down the field before time expired in the first half, making the score 21-17 with Deveer leading.
The last interception return for a touchdown was led by Ja'Quan McMullin, who took it to the house 64 yards, extending the Bronco's lead 41-32. Cody Barton sealed the deal, picking off Winston in the endzone with 44 seconds left of regulation.
Winston had a night, completing 34 of his 58 passes, setting a new record for the Cleveland Browns for most passing yards in a single game with 497 yards.
Jerry Juedy, who was traded from the Denver Broncos in March, had a career night, catching 9 passes for 235 yards and a critical 70-yard touchdown pass in the 3rd quarter.
David Njoku also had 9 catches for 52 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Despite scoring twice on the defense, the Broncos also had help from their offense; rookie quarterback Bo Nix completed 18 of his 35 passes for 294 yards, two interceptions, and a historic 93-yard touchdown pass to Marvin Mims in the 3rd quarter, which is a franchise record for the longest touchdown reception,
Mimss finished with 105 receiving yards, while Cortland Sutton finished with 103 receiving yards.
While the Broncos remain in the Wild card at 8-5, they head off to the bye week on a three-game winning streak. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns head to Pittsburgh at 3-10 to play Russell Wilson and the Steelers. While there is no playoff in sight, the Browns do have an opportunity to sweep the Steelers, which Cleveland hasn't done since 1988.

"Some people are just destined for greatness," Marvin whispered into his son's ear. "A power that comes careening down like an owl's talons and tears into the flesh whether the target is prepared or not. I can almost taste the magic in the air and I will not stand for mere mundanity and mortality. You were but a small sample of the life that I am owed." Martin knew he was the son of Athena before he knew how to speak. It was a part of his identity as much as his name was Martin Alvaro Ambrosius. He spent his time studying to get the best marks, practicing various crafts to display with pride, and even being taught about various Greek weaponry and strategy so that one day, when he made it to Camp Swynlake, his mother would claim him with pride. That same pride never came from his father, though. No, Marvin was too busy striving for his own greatness and glory to take an interest in what the young demigod was doing. Martin watched his father began to dig deep into magic wherever and whenever he could get his hands on it, his obsession growing as he tried to get back to the goddess he once knew. When that obsession resulted in a different fruit, however, Martin took notice. Instead of Lady Athena appearing at his side Marvin had attracted Lady Hecate. Martin's heart sunk as the connection there grew, as the signs were being written on the wall for what Martin would mean to his father who was so desperate for a stronger connection to the godly world. So he ran away. He knew of Camp Swynlake so the matter of finding his way there was the only obstacle he truly faced. He found a satyr along the way which helped when they were attacked by an empous. They made it to camp sporting what would be a few scars. Over the next decade he would write home, learn about this new demigod sibling of his Miriam, though she began to go by Mim as she got older which happened faster than he would have expected. Soon she would come to camp as Martin was divesting his time into the war. He was a strategist, as most Athena children would be. He tried to be there for her as best he could but the gap was still ever present. Now it's been another decade and he no longer lived at camp, no longer spent all of his time thinking about war and strategy. Now he was a professor at a nearby university and had a rather viral website and YouTube channel showing off his crafts and making it into a game with his followers. Coming back to Camp Swynlake is like going back to your childhood home, though, and he can feel how much he's grown since leaving. Let's just hope his mother's games with Ares don't make the family reunion too terrible.
