From watching clips of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales I could sense some sparks between Miles and Hailey Cooper, from the way she smiles at him and even gives Spider-Man her scarf to keep him warm as a thank you. Along with her being one of the people to learn and keep his secret. Not wanting to spoiler things for those who even got round to playing or simply watch YouTube videos on Spider-Man 2, but the energy between them in the game has me see Hailey as Miles's MJ. In the game's universe that is, as I am a Gwiles supporter too, but I have recently developed a soft spot for Miles x Hailey. Which sounds better, "Mailey," "Hailes", "Artflower", "Miley," "Hiles" or "MilesHailey"?

All Phin Mason namedrops/mentions post-MSM:MM:
Despite Insomniac's best efforts to pretend she never existed and that both her as a character and her storyline with Miles were completely irrelevant Phin has a few rare or totally missable mentions in both the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 prequel comic, as well as the game itself. Here are all of them:
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (prequel comic) mentions:
WARNING: The following images contain spoilers from this comic's storyline. If you don't want to know any details of it without having read it first, look it up online and read it before scrolling below
Phin gets mentioned in 4 different panels throught the comic. 3 by Miles and one by a random henchman working for Hood:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Kind of an unrelated side note, but I do not like how Miles namedrops Phin by name twice in front of criminals who didn't know she was the Tinkerer. Specially since, unlike Otto, who was entirely exposed as Doc Ock after the first game's story had ended, only Miles himself, Simon Krieger, Rhino, Ganke, Aaron and Rio knew of her dual life prior to her death)
Okay, that's all the comic had to offer in this regard. Now let's shift focus on:
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (the game) mentions:
I'll clarify right off the bat that I'm not including the bits of Phin getting mentioned in the Mister Negative boss fight, as those are unmissable and thus irrelevant to the compilation I'm making
The first one to mention is the one most will likely be familiar with, as visiting Phin's memento in Trinity Church not only has Miles mention her, but doing it is required to get a trophy and is therefore part of the process to earn the game's Platinum Trophy:
youtube
However, what you might not know is that, if you visit Trinity Church again after completing the main story, you'll get the buttom prompt to interact with the memento again, and Miles will have a different dialogue, which gets us our second rare namedrop in the game:
youtube
The next one can be listened to after taking a picture of the Photo Op of the hot dog champion at Coney Island, in Downtown Brooklyn. If you open the Collections section on the menu and play the audio of this location only as Miles (if you're playing as Peter you'll get a different and completely unrelated dialogue), he will mention an eating competition he and Phin did against the champion:
youtube
And finally, we have this dialogue:
This is the rarest of them all by far, as you can ONLY get it once per savefile (either brand new or New Game Plus) and if you have tutorials enabled in the settings beforehand and open your first Tech Parts stache as Miles. If you have tutorials disabled or do have them enabled but open the first stache you find as Peter, you won't get to trigger this dialogue at any other point in the entire playthrough of that save file
Aaaaand that's all I manage to find. If anyone has another unusual dialogue in the game or other suplementary material of the franchise that mentions Phin, do let me know and I'll add it to the blog
I have other blogs planned for Phin, so stay tuned!

The Timeline Of The Marvel's Spider-Man Series So Far

Marvel's Spider-Man takes place from the beginning of October 2018, over the span of a month and a half, to November 2018.
The game's epilogue takes place February 2019, 3 months after the main story concludes.
The City That Never Sleeps is assumed to take place not long after the epilogue, although a specific time is never given.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales takes place December 2019, over the span of a few days during the holiday season, 14 months after Marvel's Spider-Man and 10 months after The City That Never Sleeps.
The game's epilogue takes place January 2020, a month after the conclusion of the main story.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will take place October 2020, over an unknown span of time, 10 months after Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and 2 years after Marvel's Spider-Man.

Something that I find interesting in the long standing argument of Marvel VS DC, most people only ever compare the movies and the TV shows. The thing that I feel like that people don't ever bother to compare is the video games and so I want to do that.
Now, I am going to say that both Marvel and DC have their quantities of down right garbage movie, TV show and cartoon tie in games that are not worth mentioning at all by name because there are just so many. Now, I do think that DC stopped making these sooner as Marvel didn't stop until after The Winter Soldier's release.
Of course, both Marvel & DC have their LEGO games which, are excellent games for both of these two.
Marvel LEGO Games:
LEGO Marvel's Avengers
LEGO Marvel Superheroes
LEGO Marvel Superheroes
DC LEGO Games:
LEGO Batman: The Video Game
LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes
LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
LEGO DC Super-Villians
Now, those are not the real, big cheese games within the Marvel and DC franchises, are they? No, no, no, we have to go much, much bigger here. What are the heavy hitter games for Marvel and DC?
DC Heavy Hitters:
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Batman: Arkham City
Batman: Arkham Origins
Batman: Arkham Knight
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League
Gotham Knights
Injustice: Gods Among Us
Injustice 2
Batman: The Telltale Series
Batman: The Enemy Within
Marvel Heavy Hitters:
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
Marvel VS Capcom: Clash Of Superheroes
Marvel VS Capcom 2: New Age Of Heroes
Marvel VS Capcom 3: Fate Of Two Worlds
Marvel VS Capcom Infinite
Guardians Of The Galaxy
Guardian Of The Galaxy: The Telltale Series
Marvel's Spider-Man
Marvel's Spider Man Miles Morales
Marvel's Spider-Man 2
Marvel's Avengers
Now, I am sure that I missed something and I sure that people will let me know what I missed. Of course, both of these lists have their stinkers like Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and Gotham Knights for DC and the Crystal Dynamics Marvel's Avengers for Marvel. Each is the same number of games but, what it really comes down to is the quality of those remaining games and I can only speak on the ones I've played.
DC Games I've played:
LEGO Batman: The Video Game
LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes
LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
LEGO DC Super-Villains
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Batman: Arkham City
Injustice: Gods Among Us
Injustice 2
Marvel Games I've Played:
LEGO Marvel Superheroes
LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2
LEGO Marvel's Avengers
Guardians Of The Galaxy: The Telltale Series
I don't know, most of the Marvel games have just been really not interesting to me personally. I personally think that both have their good and bad games and that it's really up to the individual.

Something REALLY interesting about this scene
Tumblr media
At the beginning of the scene Miles confronts Gwen about the 'small elite strike-team' comment.
Gwen lies and plays it off, saying that most of them are part-time anyway.
IMMEDIATELY after that in the next line dialogue, Hobie confronts Gwen and asks her 'Gwendy, how much have you told him about his place in all this? - Maybe not enough.'
Hobie is expressioning disappointment towards Gwen. He doesn't approve of her lying to Miles, knowing what's gonna happen to him. He doesn't agree with them keeping him in the dark - which is why later in the scene he says
'I haven't gotten a Scooby Doo, mate. But that's what they want.'
He's warning Miles that they're keeping in him the dark, on purpose.
ONCE AGAIN Hobie showing foward thinking and outwardly disapproving of the obviously unfair treatment that Miles is given. He's not angry at Gwen, but he's willing to tell her straight up that she's not doing or telling Miles enough to protect him.
Miles deserved to know Miguel's motives BEFORE meeting him. That's why he pointed it out then.
He's ALWAYS looking out for Miles

Just finished replaying the Miles Morales game. I plan making at least 2 more blogs on the game, but for now, here's a cool detail I noticed
You can trigger 3 different phone calls after collecting all the time capsules spread across the map, depending on the point of the story in which you do so. Here are all the calls:
