Quite possibly the best Godzilla 1967 figure out there, the Marmit Monster Heaven vinyl has joined my collection!

Are figures of '67 Godzilla rare? I know it's like, one of the most unloved designs in the fandom (personally I like how distinctive it is, but meh).

I’m not sure I know of a common one. The Marmit Monster Heaven one has been quite hard to get, and even though it’s getting a new colorway after all these years, I was keen to get one of the earlier, rarer variants. It’s a stellar figure often loved even by people who dislike the suit. (I’m with you--it’s got its charm.)

AFAIK the most obtainable one is the Bandai memorial box one, which probably runs $60-80 or perhaps even more now.

"Kaijucast hit Facebook earlier today with a spread/scan from ‘Previews’ magazine – a supplier of comic book stores – that includes quite a bit of Godzilla goodness! The edges of the spread are filled with cropped images of Toho kaiju, all of which would seem to indicate X-Plus release of these individuals. For now, I’d bet on just the items listed with actual prices being made available in local stores. Info is scarce at this time, but for now check out the spread and get excited!
