omfg what’s the back story on Sirius and Marleneeeee do they still love each other, are they going to get back together at some point, what is the relationship like at this point, are they jealous of each other, do they still have sex I JUST HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS

Backstory: James and Lily died, and Sirius and Marlene were living together at the time, and ended up raising Harry together. They never married.

They definitely still love each other.

As far as getting back together...Ginny/Sirius is hot af and also...not at all sustainable. Marlene and Sirius have some nights and weekends of jointly looking after a grandchild coming up in their future, and his natural skill with babies is really, really attractive.

They're friends. They can be in the same house together, have dinner, laugh over a glass of wine. Sirius has to remind himself not to put his hand on her ass when he's standing next to her.

He is incredibly jealous, especially of any boyfriend who's their age or older and who seems stable and conventional. He will never admit this. Not being possessive was supposed to be a cornerstone of their relationship: the point was freely choosing each other. His girlfriends always love Marlene and become good friends with her, which makes it worse.

They haven't slept together since Marlene moved out, but he notices lots of very small home repairs that need to be taken care of at her place. When he pops by immediately after working out at the gym to replace a light switch or fix a dripping faucet, it's because he's a very helpful man.

Thank you so much for this ask, I really loved this very background relationship, which obviously had a complicated history. 😅
