The ships have versatile features which makes them unique in the market. High fuel efficiency and minimum impact on the environment are the specific requirements of the design and the contract with Wärtsilä is also based on these.
Each vessels requires a Wärtsilä 32 main engine, four Wärtsilä 20 engine generator sets, selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems for the reduction of nitrogen oxide emissions, four transverse and two retractable thrusters, and a controllable pitch propeller (CPP). Pro-Touch propulsion control system by Wärtsilä will also be used to make the control user friendly in free sailing and also in dynamic positioning operations. The ships will be in compliance with the Tier III regulations of IMO.

The scheduled delivery of the Wärtsilä equipments for the two 141 metres long vessels is from Q3 2020.
