“hello there.” marina smiled at the first person she saw, giving a polite smile as she spoke. she was in a strange town, a new place and she remembered dying. it was odd, remembering yourself slowly fading away and not being able to do anything about it. however, she wasn’t sure who did it, all she remembered was a sharp pain in her head and then nothing. she seemed to wake up in this town like nothing happened. “i was wondering if you could help me. i woke up in the hospital and the doctor released me. the only issue is i don’t know where i’m supposed to go. my memory seems to be a bit wonky.”

It wasn’t that Marina minded that people from high school was in this town, it was that some of them she didn’t really leave on good terms and she felt very guilty for that. She was slowly remembering what happened to her and what her part in it was as well. She didn’t blame Polo for doing everything he could for Carla. She would have done everything she could for Nando, and in reality she really did till the end. “Carla?” Marina finally managed to speak the other’s name. Hoping it was actually her and not a look alike. “it’s kind of nice, isn’t it? the holidays. at least it puts me in a good mood for a moment.”
