Atlantis Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey

 This is a Happy Day! As you know Playboy Casino closed up and 1984 than Atlantis took over.  They used Playboy Tokens in the $1 machines. Samples were made up for Atlantis but were never made.  1st shown is a $1 Atlantis Die Trial Strike, Its made out of lead or a soft metal.  2nd you will see a $1 Atlantis Sample Proof they made up to sell to them. (These are made with the metals used in regular tokens) I lucked out and found these beauties to add to my collection.   Below those you will see 2 Die Trial Strikes made up for the “Reel Winners Club” aluminum tokens they had at Atlantis.  The backs of both are not finished.  You can see a faint copy of the other side. One has large letters on the top and the other small.  Very nice find! One happy camper here! It just goes to show you that 33 years later stuff still comes out of the woodwork.

  The Playboy Hotel, Atlantic City was developed and built in 1981 by Hugh Heffner’s Playboy Enterprises and Elsinore Corporation. Playboy already operated a casino in London and was looking to exploit the new Atlantic City gaming market.

Las Vegas architect Martin Stern, Jr. had already established himself in Atlantic City with proposals for Del Webb’s Sahara Boardwalk, another MGM Grand, and Bill Harrah’s Marina (of these the Marina was the only one that was built). Stern designed a green glass tower with a three-level casino for Playboy, but had to shorten the tower from its original 33 stories to 22 after the Federal Aviation Board claimed that it would impede local air traffic.

The casino suffered financial difficulties from the start, and was eventually sold outright to Elsinore Corporation. The name was changed to the Atlantis Hotel and Casino in 1984, but the property went bankrupt in 1985. Donald Trump bought it in 1989, and closed the casino to operate the property solely as a hotel named the Trump Regency. The property was re-opened in 1996 as the Worlds’ Fair at Trump Plaza, but after three years of failure, the entire building was demolished.

for a birthday party! For some reason Nubbins is again sad (bc no second nooboo? Just wait, sweetie, just wait 😏😈 ) Meanwhile Frank is a good guest and takes care of the trash.

But Nubbins can’t stay sad long when Charlie comes along to cheer him up! ❤

And Marina is just being Marina, no surprises here!

Lucien: yeah... I was actually born before Onyx...

And little Jett makes friends with the Roswells’ in the bathroom... Or vice versa? He’s irresistably cute for sure!

Looks like using the care products of your hosts is a commong habit in this world. Zoe decides to take a bath.

And while they’re at it, why not cook something too? (Is the Costa’s food not good enough for you, Mrs Heffner??)

Little Miss Heffner doesn’t seem to mind it tho, she took another portion 😁

For some weird reason, a group of guests decided that it’s nicer outside. While there was a heat wave. Sims 🤷‍♀️

The party was inside tho, and Celeste has a blast! She’s coming to like these, ehehe

Of course there was again some baby care.

All kids love their presents! (not many kids yet, but we work on that, okay)

Nubbins tries his luck with Father Winter, but all he gets is “a box of empty promises”

Naturally, he is sad. (my poor bb)

I am convinced he has the mean and evil trait 😡

Charlie has more luck and gets a 10k $$ stove (don’t ask me how that fits into the box)

The table is set and now is everything ready to let the guests come in!

And they come, Marina + Onyx Heffner are first! (look at my bbs 😍)

They come in masses (as I like it) and sing around the table (weird tradition, but they enjoyed)

Mariella Heffner is a proud mommy.

Marina... she was so impatient for the food she sat down before everyone else (and before the call to dinner!) and gulped down a portion (gluttons, eh...)

But we see where she got her love for food from 😏

Onyx Heffner is a v responsible little boy! (and pretty)

After dinner the guests gather in the living room.

Tristan still doesn’t look like he’s a fan of parties. At least he didn’t nap! (Yes, I locked all doors to bedrooms and offices! No beds or pcs for my guests ! 😈 )

Celeste cheers up her son by playing. She’s not afraid to frollic on the floor in her minidress!

Yup, Charlie is v round and ready to pop. Socializing is better sitting!

Nico is also busy cheering up his son. (he seems not to like to be the only tiny one around here between all the strangers 😢 )

Food is served again, and everyone digs in.

It’s partytime again, and the Heffners have a full house! (33 guests, to be exact)
