I need a break from all the exam prep so I'm playing with newprofilepic again. Al and Frank should swap clothes, Nico looks too mean and Herbert too young. But otherwise I'm quite content!

Above this cute little flower shop in the center of San Myshuno live the O’Brennans. This shop is also where Emily and Haimon met. She was selling her beautiful flower arrangements and he delivered a supply of fresh flowers to her shop every day.

The retail isn’t particularly profitable yet, but the two of them are hopeful it will change soon.

They sure work hard for it...

...even have their own employee, Mr. Herbert Schnautz (Mariella’s Heffner father). He’s quite good with the customers.

The O’Brennans don’t have any kids yet. Rosie the cat is their baby. She used to be a stray who kept looking for food in the dumpsters behind their shop every night. They lured her inside the house and fed her a proper cat meal. She stayed, naturally, as would any smart cat who knows what is good for her.

As soon as the shop starts making a decent profit, they will be able to plan a family.

Aaaaaand- birthday time!!

Herbert: There weren’t many ingredients here, but your mom made this with love, my dear!

Marina: This is just enough for myself 😢

Mariella: Chris, you almost missed your daughter’s teen birthday!! 😡😡

Chris: I had to work overtime, elections are coming up 🥵

Herbert: Mariella, all you and your family do is work and no fun. How about we go on vacation for once? Let the kids relax in nature a bit.

Mariella: What about their grades?? Soon Mariella will go to High School!

Marina got a school project on her first day!

Mariella wants to help, but not gonna lie, she kind of lacks some experience with stuff like this (yep, she totally didn’t do them when she was in school) and Marina is more busy explaining her mom what to do than actually working...

Herbert is not the biggest help either.

Marina: oh boy...

In the last minute even Chris joined, and they actually finished!

Chris: Well done, squirt!

Marina is as happy about the results as the rest of her family!

Marina: Maybe they’re not that bad 😏

The next day, there’s more candle blowing! This time, it’s just a tiny family gathering bc honestly Marina picked up plates for literally five (5) hours.

Herbie found some nice lady on the beach and had to introduce himself.

Look how nice she looks! She even made him forget the freeze he caught in the pool!

She’s not overly impressed, but neither reluctant.
