Great American Media announced today that three additional films have been added to their already impressive Great American Christmas lineup, which includes new talent such as Mario Lopez, Courtney Lopez, Alexa PenaVega, Carlos PenaVega, Julia Reilly, and more.
In their press release, they invite viewers to "Cherish the holidays. Joy is coming. Great American Christmas 2024 will soon be revealed."
Here's a closer look at three more movies coming to Great American Family this Christmas...
Jonathan Stoddard and Brittany Underwood on the set of  A Royal Christmas Ballet - source
A Royal Christmas Ballet
Starring: Brittany Underwood (“One Life to Live,” A Royal Christmas Holiday) and Jonathan Stoddard (A Royal Christmas Holiday, Sweet Maple Romance).
Storyline: In A Royal Christmas Ballet, a retired ballerina is pressed into service working with a visiting team of royal ambassadors to put on the season’s performance of “The Nutcracker” and finds herself center stage in an unexpected Christmas romance. Produced by Hybrid Entertainment. Fred Olen Ray directs from his own Original screenplay.
Eric Guilmette and Ash Tsai in A Shelter and Season’s Greetings - source
A Shelter and Season’s Greetings (wt)
Starring: Eric Guilmette (The Black Box) and Ash Tsai (Journey to Christmas)
Storyline: Eric Guilmette (The Black Box) plays Caleb, an Army vet wounded in service who recovers with the help of therapy dogs from a local shelter run by Amber (Ash Tsai, Journey to Christmas). As a sign of gratitude, Caleb volunteers at the shelter, though he notices one wealthy donor has his eye on Amber. Despite the patron’s help, the shelter needs additional funds to stay afloat, so Caleb produces a holiday pet fair to bring community together. As the pair become closer, Caleb confides a desire to repair the relationship with his parents that became strained after his injury. Amber has the perfect plan! Produced by Candlelight Media. Brian Bough directs from an Original screenplay by Brittany Wiscombe.
The Fabric of Christmas - image via Reel One
The Fabric of Christmas (wt)
Starring: Harmon Walsh (Christmas By Candlelight) and Ferelith Young (A Match for the Prince)
Storyline: Harmon Walsh (Liam Sullivan, Christmas By Candlelight), a firefighter, and Ferelith Young (Amy Walker, A Match for the Prince), a quilting teacher, are drawn together to make the perfect quilt for Liam’s sister Lauren’s (Alia Desantis, Saying Yes to Christmas) Christmas wedding. After a rocky start, the pair is forced to put differences aside and decide what is most important this Christmas. Produced by Reel One. Don McBrearty directs from an Original screenplay by Sarah Mayberry.

I also wanted to note that "The Fabric of Christmas" is one of those movies that can also be seen via streaming sources. Maria, Florence, Jane, and I have written movie reviews, which you can read below. If you'd like to contribute a review, please do so in the comments beneath this post.
Movie Reviews - The Fabric of Christmas:
🎄 Reel One's The Fabric of Christmas is clean and very sweet. (streaming on Xumo). -Maria
🎄 The Fabric of Christmas - This was a surprise - a low budget movie about a fireman and a quilting teacher joining up to make a Christmas quilt for the fireman's sister's wedding. Sounded like a sure-fire recipe for 90 minutes of boredom! But hey, the two leads Kyana Teresa (Amy) and Harmon Walsh (Liam) both previously unknown to me were perfect together with great chemistry.
It was engaging to se Liam try to keep on top of his burgeoning feelings. It started off nicely with friction between Amy and Liam as he had to fail Amy's premises in a fire inspection and there was a side plot of the business threatened with going under.
The movie was full of warmth and humour and the mechanics surrounding the production of the quilt turned out to be fascinating. A little bit different and an unexpected delight - Florence Rating 8.5
🎄 The Fabric of Christmas. Completely agree with Florence - this was a thoroughly enjoyable movie! I was expecting a low-budget movie with typical audio issues and subpar acting, but this turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The acting, writing and directing were well done. (I looked up the director and it turns out he’s been the director on a lot of the bigger-name Hallmark/GAF movies.)
The actors were new to me but I thought they were all good, including side characters. The lead actress, Ferelith Young, was excellent; she was so natural and believable and sincere and warm - I never felt like I was watching someone act. And the lead actor, Harmon Walsh, is a cutie patootie, reminiscent of Kevin McGarry; the chemistry between the two leads felt realistic.
This whole production felt a bit more polished and mature than a lot of the “first-string” movies out there this year (and I appreciated that there was no ridiculous and overblown conflict or big misunderstanding between the couple). The sweet relationship between the brother and sister was a nice bonus.
This one would be a keeper if I had it on my dvr but right now it’s only available via streaming (previously it had been showing on XumoPlay but they took it off and as of January 2nd it’s now playing on the Roku channel – catch this cute movie while you can! Maybe also available on Amazon streaming?). Family friendly. ~~Jane
🎄 The Fabric of Christmas – This movie is like a warm, cuddly blanket… it’s cozy, comfortable, and sweet! And it’s family-friendly, too!
Sparks fly the instant when Liam, a firefighter, and Amy, a quilting teacher, meet. Liam’s sister is getting married and he asks Amy to help him with the task of making a quilt for her wedding present. It’s a traditional wedding gift in their family, and Liam wants to ensure his sister has one on behalf of their deceased mother.
As Liam and Amy work together, it’s plain to see a romance is gently flaring up – as the two are obviously attracted to each other.
Amy is known for working with candles lit around her, which is a terrible fire hazard especially around fabric. I found it to be adorably cute and responsible how Liam would constantly go around blowing them out.
Both characters felt like such real, authentic people. Liam’s the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, and as far as being kind and giving is concerned, Amy seems to be cut from the same cloth.
This movie is one of those lighthearted, feel-good movies that leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. ~Net

~
You met in August. A warm and rainy August, the type of day where you can feel the humidity by how heavy your hair was against your skin. A dimly lit party, with fairy lights strung over the walls of a trust fund med students duplex.
It was something out of a 90s coming of age movie, you locked eyes from across the room and everyone else blurred to a stop. A lightning bolt struck through you, and once you made contact with her nothing was more important than her.
When the world unfroze, it sped up. But she stayed in the same place. You walked toward each other in sync and stopped within an inch of each other. "Hi," you said.
"Hi" She had a pretty voice. Really everything about her was pretty. Her eyes were deep and dark, her body rose up and down with her breath in a graceful way, her skin looked soft even from a distance, and you could've run your hands through her hair for hours.
Pretty.
Before you could blink you had been on a dozen coffee dates, spent at least 20 hours at the fair winning stupid stuffed animals for each other that you proudly rested on your bed like a trophy.
You moved into her apartment before even realizing it. You hadn't been to your flat for a month and then it occurred to you 'maybe we should move in together.' And so you did. It wasn't difficult, all of your stuff was in Monica's place so all you had to do was cancel your lease and you and Monica were officially living together.
You got two elderly cats named Fred and Coco, and Monica officiated their wedding. That was when marriage first occurred to you.
You had been together for almost 3 years and been living together for more than half of that.
The wedding was beautiful. Nothing big, just a small ceremony on a bridge in central park. She was the most beautiful bride you had ever seen. You cried watching her walk down the aisle with her mother. She did too, but she would never admit it. She was so pretty.
It was officiated by her family friend, SHIELD Director Nick Fury. You were fairly aware of Monica's exotic family, there were 2 spies, 5 veterans, 3 secret agents, and a superhero (with some overlap) at your wedding. But Monica wanted to protect you so she kept her secrets, you didn't push it.
Within an hour you were a Rambeau. Your reception was at an underground (literally) bar on the Lower East Side. You celebrated with expensive alcohol and cheesy fries. A beautiful wedding with a beautiful bride.
While your wedding only had a dozen people, your reception was bursting with joy and people. You had met Monica's mom Maria plenty of times before, but she was the happiest you had ever seen her at the wedding. Not only because her only daughter was getting married, but because her "best friend" Carol was there. You saw how they looked at each other.
You danced well into the morning, and booked the plane to your honeymoon at 5 am for good reason. You watched the first sunrise as a married couple while Monica slept on your shoulder on the plane to Greece.
Your honeymoon in Santorini was heaven. Visiting the ruins, and hours in Wineries, hundreds of dollars of fancy restaurants, and street food. Perfect.
You probably spent half of your vacation on the beach. You found a hidden trail through the brush from a dishwasher at a brunch you went on the second day. What can you say, Monica had that effect on people.
So, it was just you and your wife on a blue beach. There really is nothing better than running sunscreen on your half-naked wife's shoulders. Since your special spot was only a mile away from your BnB, you spent many nights skinny dipping in the cold sky blue ocean.
By the time the ten days were up you never wanted to leave. But when you got back to your house and cats you were just as happy. You were going to spend the rest of your life with your wife.
And that's when everything turned to shit.
Maria got diagnosed with cancer and wouldn't come home for weeks, you did everything to support her, but there wasn't much you could do. You can't cure cancer or heal her mom, all you could do was be there for Monica.
Your wife spent more hours in hospitals and at work than she did with you. She didn't even come home for a week after your cat Fred died.
And then all of the sudden you were a widow.
The snap took everything you had. Your wife, your cat, everything good in your life was gone in 30 seconds. Director Fury was gone, Maria left in two years, all of your friends were doctors or secret agents, so you didn't talk to them either.
Everything was gone. Half of the superheroes were left, and double the criminals built up. People were crying in Supermarkets, and within a year you were the only one left on your floor at work. Your friends were too busy to call, and therapists' waiting lists were too long to add you.
Most of the superheroes left either retired, went crazy, started fighting on different worlds, or were way too overwhelmed to deal with everything. You were on your own.
And you couldn't complain, everyone else had lost someone. Most people you met were either widows, childless parents, or both.
Dates weren't fun either, half of the time you or them or both didn't show up. You cried through the other half. None of them progressed past the first date. Your hookups were equally sad. There seemed to be a silent agreement not to talk about the names people cried out during sex. No one wanted to talk about everything everyone lost.
It was like there was a collar with a leash around your throat, and every time you tried to move, it cut into your neck and slit your vocal cords. You couldn't talk or move without thinking about Monica.
You can't move on from the loss of your life. People aren't supposed to get over the death of the love of their lives. At least you weren't supposed to.
And then as quickly as she was gone, she was back again. You realized something was wrong when you heard meowing from the bathroom. Coco was back.
In another Monica was in your kitchen, rain speckled over her face, flattening her curls on her cheeks. And then, just like the first time you met, everything stopped.
It wasn't something that just happened. You can't see your dead wife in the kitchen without thinking you were crazy.
Your brain stopped thinking about how you met, your wedding, your honeymoon, your cats, and focused on the moment.
Your dead wife was in your kitchen, soaking wet from tears and rain. And you couldn't be sure you weren't crazy.
You probably should've run away, or called the police, but you didn't. Because your wife was 5 feet away from you, alive and breathing.
You ran to her and held her. Your clothes getting soaked in the process. "Monica."
"(Y/n)."
"You're alive?" You said, resting your hand on her cheek.
"Yeah, I'm alive Baby, I'm alive." She said laughing, which made you laugh too.
You kissed her like you hadn't been able to kiss her for the last 5 years.
A movie kiss. Everything in your life seemed like a movie at that moment.
But if your life was a movie, it definitely wasn't a fairytale.
Before everything, your marriage was perfect. But this wasn't before. This was the after.
You stayed in bed for a week, crying, sleeping, kissing, holding each other. And then real life hit.
There was work to be done, arrangements to be made, people to call, cemetery plots to dig up and funerals to attend that took their place.
Your life returned to the same old stuck place it was before Monica's death.
"I've been thinking," Monica said, cutting into her steak at dinner.
"A dangerous pastime." You responded, trying to make the conversation. The space in between you and your wife was already a chasm.
"I want to go back to work," She suggested, look up at you, "I'm going back to work." She said as a statement this time.
You didn't know what to say, After not having your wife for a decade, she was leaving again. If she had a normal job it would be no problem, but she didn't. She would be away for days, weeks, or maybe even a month with her job. You didn't want to lose your wife again.
'HOW DARE YOU! DO YOU NOT LOVE ME ANYMORE??!!!' Is what you wanted to say, but instead you said: "Good idea."
And resumed eating in silence.
Monica was gone by the time you woke up. She sent you a text that said 'be back in two days, and then radio silence.
You just went back to sleep.
Then someone knocked on the door. 'Missing'. She wasn't presumed dead. They probably would've told you.
You drove up to the military base SWORD set up and waited for your wife. No one talked to you besides Director Hayward.
It was sad and lonely. You didn't even know that Monica had come back until she was gone again. It ruined you that your wife didn't care about you enough to tell you she wasn't dead.
You tracked down Dr. Lewis and Agent Woo, and they told you everything. They didn't want to tell you that she might be dead for good, but they knew they had to.
When you heard the news that the hex was down you sobbed to yourself. Monica wasn't back yet.
And then Darcy told you she was alive. And you cried even harder. She was alive, but she didn't want you.
"Um, Darcy. Look she obviously wants this more than me, just uh, just keep her safe, okay?" You said through teary eyes.
"Why would you think I don't want you?" It's Monica's voice. You know it better than anyone else's.
Darcy slips out of the tent before you respond.
"Because you left the first chance you could." You say, honest for the first time in weeks.
"Baby, I didn't want to leave you." She says, walking towards you slowly, so you wouldn't run away. Monica definitely knew you.
"You didn't?" You respond, looking at your wife.
"No, of course not baby." She takes another step forward, "I was gone for 5 years, you had been through enough. You couldn't deal with me being different, or me missing my mom, or-"
"Monica, all I've wanted for 5 years is to deal with you. I didn't get a new life, I just lived in purgatory."
"Really?" She says, tearing up for the first time since you had come back.
And that's when you realized that in your haste, and in your longing, you hadn't actually been with your wife. You had just pushed each other so far away and blamed it on the other.
In trying to protect each other, you broke each other instead.
Monica kissed you, really kissed you, for the first time in half a decade, you held your wife, and for the first time in a really, really long time, you felt happy.
So happy, that you didn't notice Darcy and Jimmy fist-bumping each other from outside your tent.
You kissed all the way back to your apartment. You talked to each other for a long time about everything. What happened, what was going to happen. Everything, all about each other. And mostly in bed.
It wasn't the same as before, and it wasn't going to go back to that place, and neither of you wanted that. You wanted the new each other. The different, the special, the beautiful.
You were making a kitchen for your wife, humming to yourself in your underwear and your apron. As much as you loved Monica, you were definitely the cook in the family. You were twirling around the kitchen when you saw the calendar.
It had been 10 years for you since you had met, and 5 for Monica.
Hands snuck around your naked waist and kissed the inside of your neck, and you giggled. "Good morning to you too."
Monica twisted you around and put the pancake batter on the kitchen counter and you smiled into her kiss. "Happy anniversary baby." She exclaimed, and you laughed as you wrapped your arms loosely around her neck, and kissed your pretty wife again.
And you didn't plan on letting Monica go again anytime soon.

All You Need to Know About Matchups!
CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE WAITLIST
Hi y'all!
This account is solely for matchups for several different fandoms. That means requests for imagines, oneshots, headcanons, etc. will NOT be taken.
Here are some basic things to know about requesting a matchup!
Unless otherwise specified for a certain fandom, a request yields one romantic pairing AND one friendship pairing as well as information on why I think you work well with the individuals I choose. Of course, if you only wish to receive either just the romantic matchup or just the friendship matchup, just let me know!
You can request matchups for several different fandoms at once! For each fandom you request, I will match you up with one romantic partner and one friend unless you request differently.
You can ask to exclude any character(s)!
Where can I request a matchup?
Requests can be made in the MATCHUP REQUESTS/ASK ME ANYTHING tab.
What do I need to include in my request?
Required
Fandom(s)
Your gender and/or pronouns
Your sexual orientation and/or preferences
Description of personality
Optional (but definitely helps me out!)
Description of appearance
Hobbies
Personality alignment (Myers-Briggs, Enneagram, Hogwarts House, etc.)
What you would look for in a partner and/or friend
Any other information you think would be helpful – the more you provide, the more I can work with!
Now with that out of the way, onto the fandoms!
Listed directly below is a shortlist of all the fandoms I take requests for as well as some extra information as needed.
Disclaimers
If a title is in italics, it means that while I feel comfortable providing matchups for this show, I have not watched every season. If a character drastically changes after a certain point, I may not be aware. The last season I watched of these shows will be included in parentheses.
All movies/shows based on novels will most likely focus on the on-screen adaptations of characters.
SHOWS
The 100 (6)
Good Omens
The Good Place (3)
Lucifer (4)
On My Block
Parks and Recreation (4)

What’s below the cut?
A masterlist of characters in each fandom that will be considered for each request (unless marked with an asterisk (*), all characters are assumed to be available for both romantic AND friendly matchups while names marked with an asterisk are only available for friendly matchups). Listed alphabetically by first name.
Don’t be afraid to tell me about a typo!
Any questions? Just want to talk? You can also use the  MATCHUP REQUESTS/ASK ME ANYTHING tab to get ahold of me!
