I love how girls are portrayed in yellowjackets, because girls are usually shown to be clean and pristine in media, but not yellowjackets. they're dirty, their skin is scarred and stained, their clothes are ripped, their hair is tangled and messy, they're shown in their rawest states and they do it with pride
