Horse sewing progress is slowed because it's Baking Cookies Weekend, the weekend in December where I am struck by the urge to bake a whole bunch of cookies so I can share them with the neighbors
So far, that means chocolate oatmeal no bake cookies and coffee-chocolate shortbread, and next up is gingersnaps! And citrus cookies*
I'll be honest I'm probably keeping the gingersnaps for my family and not sharing them with the neighbors? They are one of those recipes I haven't been able to make in a long time because they are little labor-intensive and they are one of my absolute favorite cookies
*any time I am giving a gift of cookies I try to include at least one non-chocolate cookie option, and my default is citrus cookies because they are pretty, the dough can be made ahead of time (they are slice and bake cookies), and most people I've made them for have never had a cookie like them before
